I hope everyone appreciates Masvidal after this. In the fight of his life he was still aware of what diaz is capable of, even after a 3 round domination. Hats off to him for offering the deserved rematch. It's a shame so many fools watched this fight and assumed diaz was done.
Bradley Thomsen Diaz was dominated everywhere. It was a masterpiece by Masvidal. Complete domination

"Right away". Not only that of course hes gonna say that and make people want it more. Although Jorge definitely deserves to fight for the title. Not gonna take that away from Jorge at all. He put in work and if it was a 3 roundd fight Jorge would have won on points alone. So, yeah. Overall either way both these guys are great fighters.

I Agree, but maybe he's thinking along the lines of title shot, or McGregor - McGregor vs Masvidal does huge numbers, plus the loser could rematch Diaz so best of both worlds.

Diaz looked awful at the end of that 3rd round, he had blood in his eyes, and was wiping his eyes a lot while he was fighting. Blood was shooting out of the cut too, I saw it squirting out as he was walking past the camera. Honestly, it wasn't worth letting him continue, it's not worth risking your health. Diaz is already rich, and is already a superstar. He didn't lose any stock.
The referee deserves praise even an award. If the fight continues, Nate may never be the same and his left eye might have been dangerously damaged

I was sure Nate looked worse during second fight with McGregor. He maybe wasn't hit that hard, but it seemed to me he was waaaay more cut up.

Great fight. I think Jorge would have won it. Probably all 5 rounds. But you can't say the way it ended was right. Look at Tyson Fury's cut a few weeks back. Crazier comebacks have happened. Even recently, DC vs Stipe. Cormier won 2 or 3 of the rounds, but Stipe stopped him in the 4th. We just never know with MMA.
Masvidal should have gave his belt to Trump.
Winning is not enough you must be spectacular and corey did that but let's see who he gets next better be a top 5 guy

Although I agree Jorge had a lot to worry about in those later rounds, that was a VERY serious cut. You need to know that Nate's upper eyes has a lot of scar tissue, and that cut that opened is a pre-existing condition. I want to see Nate have his McGregor trilogy, and I want the BMF rematch. Without that stoppage, we might not have had either.. Regardless, Jorge won 3 rounds and Nate NEEDED a submission to win; nothing to be too mad about my friend.

Samm Q the exact same scenario vs Conor. Lol he got dominated for three rounds then finished his opponent. Not the first time he has done that. It’s pretty normal for him in fact. It’s why he has problems with decisions in 3 round fights

Stipe Vs. Cormier seems like a terrible idea. Stipe literally lost every round of the fight, Cormier just didn't care about anything, his father had died a few days before the fight. Cormier held his head straight in front of Stipe, and didn't even try to block the punches being thrown at him. Stipe still got beat up pretty bad.

Here’s the best part about this card both Diaz and Jorge still win. Yes stupid stoppage but yes Jorge is a beast. This fight was basically Conor and Nate 1 and 2 only the doctor ruined it.

Masvidal should appreciate the fact that Diaz respectfully called him out and created the bmf title. If masvidal doesn’t demand a rematch I see him as nothing but a complete sellout.
If you were watching the fight, you'd see that he addressed this in the post fight interview..... it's not up to Jorge, it's up to the ufc. Dana addresses this several times in this video.

The reason Dana doesn’t wanna make the fight again is Bc they can’t. The ufc can’t make a PPV main event 5 rds without it being a title fight. Which is why they made the BMF belt in the first place. But he said it was a 1 time thing if they make the rematch for the bmf belt then everyone is going to want to fight for it. We’re all in for it lol but idk why the UFC isn’t.

They absolutely can, there's no rule that PPV main events have to be a title fight. Just because they had this belt doesn't mean it was a title fight, just a damn good fight for the fans.
