I think Jorge will rematch Nate regardless the outcome of his title fight with Usman/Covington . Which will be fine considering Nate will most likely be on a 4-6 month injury suspension or whatever

    • Very accurate. UFC uses and abuses Nate to boost other fighters while he gets the short end of the stick. I'm sure Nate gets paid less than the other fighter as well. If there's no rematch, he should retire or fight in a different promotion like ONE.

  • Nate is gold on the mic. He carried this press conference. All the journalist were too focused on what happens next, ie. Rematch, conor, etc instead of the fight. They asked almost no questions to provide us fans with any insight as to what was going on in the fight from Nate's perspective. I would have asked: 1. How hurt was he from the stikes Masvidal landed in the first and second round as it appeared that he was really rocked. 2. What did he think of Masvidal's power? 3. Did he feel he was in danger at any point in the fight? 4. What did he think of Masvidal's performance?

Congrats to Jorge though, he is a bonefied BMF and i do feel his performance earned him the title, but i also feel Nate has been robbed. I want to see this fight again, for a full five rounds or till one of the fighters stops the other. Not like this...

    • It s been proven in the past that fighters sometimes don't know what is best for them. Only this year there were like 3 or 4 deaths in boxing. Nate took a lot of shots. I know what you are saying, it was a bit disappointing but i'd rather come to terms with that than seeing something bad happen to Nate. The doctor saw him, i think he absolutely knew what he was doing.

    • @Samba Warrior yeah, cause nate was near death, smh. nate's had cuts just as bad multiple times; was cut up worse and blood actually all over his face, in his eyes...before nate choked him out. nate was cut up worse in the second conor fight and had benn knocked down multiple times, before coming on stronger in the later rounds and putting it on conor's ass so bad that he was running from him.

Nate clearly states he's fine yet it's stopped? Whether it's the doctors or refs fault it still shouldn't have been stopped. Do your research before commenting bollocks,.
