No propaganda and extremism. Only history!
The demonstration of Nazi symbols in my videos is not propaganda of fascism, Nazism, etc. They are demonstrated exclusively for historical and scientific purposes.

  • I’m restoring an m40, I took the previous paint completely off as it was already pretty badly restored, now I have to repaint it, I bought day 1944 paint, I tried on the shell to see if it would hold on, but it doesn’t, I can scratch it off with my nails. Do you know if I have to use any sort of primer or what I should do to make it work?

  • Great work... As it is an M42, (I do not mean to be rude or picky) , the color should be "Field Grey" instead of what seems to be "Apple Green" (as used in early M35s). Also I am sure you realised that the chinstrap has been mounted with the black-side on the wearer's skin... and it should be the other way around. I could also suggest the drawstring (as it appears on the video) should be replaced with one that would resemble the original ones a little more. However, you have done a truly great job restoring this piece of history. Congratulations on your workmanship.

  • Very nice, I really like the texture paint too. However I have some positive criticism to add.. the chinstrap was put on backwards I'm afraid. And I might sound like a stickler but I would have textured the split pins before adding them. I probably would have aged the liner as well but that's just me, im weird like that, sorry. But it probably fares a little better than before anyway!🙄

    • Use drywall then sand it. Make sure to use light coats to thick. I would advise to sand it down then put the drywall smoothly over the whole helm. The paint Will make the drywall strong and you wont even tell. And for youre saftey please wear a mask and hold breath as it contains silica dust.

Quindi è da condannare senza appello. Conclusione lasciamo il passato al passato nel suo oblio. Speriamo che il futuro ci preservi da simili tragedie mondiali. Almeno lo spero se, non per me, almeno per i nostri nipoti. Nice as a restoration of an old piece of steel. But terrible for what it represents. Who knows in one of the many cruel photos we see youtube is the fierce protagonist. So it is to be condemned without appeal. Conclusion We leave the past to the past in its oblivion. We hope that the future will preserve us from similar worldwide tragedies. At least I hope so if, not for me, at least for our grandchildren.

    • @@wwiituberestoration1011 Millie putty is tough and adds weight to the helmet which is great if it's lost some steel to rust.

    @doughnut_panda@doughnut_panda3 жыл бұрын
    • Because at the factory these helmets were painted without primer. I tried to make the helmet as close as possible to the original.
