  • I don't understand people who blame the wife for Will Smith slapping Chris, she didn't even say anything? It was Will's choice to slap the dude, if he had the minimum self control he wouldn't do such thing, and instead just ask politely to Chris to not make such jokes.

Chris Rock is one of my favorite comedians and I couldn’t bear to see him get smacked in front of so many celebrities anticipating their awards. • Jada 'The Succubus' Pinkett, is able to play Will like a puppet by his short and curlies/whebos/pubes... She strikes me as an Amber Heard type of mentality, horrendously abusive and demeaning, but paying both the feminine, wife/ex-wife, celebrity victim, & racial cards when needed, upon the largely unknowing public, to twist the mind knives further and further for her incesant need to belittle others, also having been a victim of typical American parental usage for money since & from her childhood acting days, she learned early on how to use people to get some power & vengence back indirectly upon others - Is my guess, and it's only natural a response too, being fair, in that regard. But it helped construct asect of her hidden self, that causes many not to like her as a person. She's likely can be quite violent, one other reason for hair loss is the stress of keeping abuse & abusiveness hidden, as much as it makes fighting back harder with less to grab at assuming she's the aggressive one.

    • I don’t think so, not all of them are like this. We shouldn’t force people to give their money away and they make way more money than we do because the films they’re in produces lots of money just like how sports players get paid. Anyway what I think we really need to do is look at our government and our politicians and see how they waste our tax dollars and then ask for more money to waste it on more things. For example our tax dollars are going to Ukraine and Israel causing a lot of the problems that we have right now. When instead we could have used that money to help our country with its problems including Lahaina’s problems.

I feel because of the whole Jada thing, and your private life being in the spotlight.. he snapped. But no excuses. He made his bed out of anger and frustration.. now lie in it. So I was very disappointed in seeing Will act that way. But of course, always was a Chris Rock fan.. not just his comedy, the movie Spiral proved he's a damn good actor in a serious horror type of movie... so now I'm an even bigger fan of Chris Rock, the person. But yes, I liked most of Will Smith's movies... his rap.. lol, not at all.

      @krimsonhaze327@krimsonhaze3272 жыл бұрын
    • This sums up my feelings exactly. Huge Will Smith fan, always have been (I'm from Philly so I knew of him way back when his rap albums were huge hits, before Bel Air, he & Jazzy Jeff were local folk heroes, so to speak) and he's always had the reputation of being super nice & kind...I liked Jada, but never really knew much about her before or since the Matrix Sequels...and always been a huge Chris Rock fan way back to Everybody Hates Chris & before. So this was a confluence of strange feelings for me when I saw it. I couldn't and still can't believe it. Now I feel sympathy for Will knowing a bit more about Jada (much like Amber Heard & Johnny Depp - Team Johnny BTW). Will is a beaten man (psychologically obviously - maybe even physically, who knows...?) but the way Chris handled it, live, on stage, at the OSCARS (!), in front of ALL of his peers, and televised to the world...he's a class act. Chris will be fine. Hopefully Will will get out of that marriage of convenience (convenient to Jada, not Will). And hopefully Jada will fade into historical oblivion for having destroyed Will Smith's record of Mr. Nice Guy.

NO ONE on earth could have handled that ridiculous and undeserved slap better than Chris Rock did. Chris knew that at that moment in front of 17 million people, he alone was representing the entire Oscar ceremony to the world. And Chris Rock instinctively KNEW there was only one response that would salvage his own image AND the integrity of the Oscar ceremonies, in the face of an actual PHYSICAL ASSAULT - and that was to act as if it never happened. So that's exactly what he did! Out of a hundred possible responses Chris Rock could have made - fall to the ground dramatically like a world cup player, scream a barrage of curses, run backstage to arm up, or perhaps even grab a nearby mike stand and try to beat Will Smith to death with it - Rock picked the sole response that allowed him and the Oscar ceremonies to maintain a modicum of dignity! At that moment I never admired and respected Chris Rock more. It was without a doubt the most courageous thing I have ever seen, at any live show anytime. Will Smith's Oscar should have been taken away then and there. And awarded to Chris Rock.
