A quick overview demonstrating the use of Bluetooth with your Garmin G3X Touch system. We'll show you how to get it set up and paired, then showcase a number of the umpteen features available, including flight plan transfers, audio options for pilot and passengers, how to utilize your phone and/or tablet, and more.
Your channel is such a valuable resource. Thanks for putting in the time and energy to produce this high quality content!
Thanks for watching, we are happy you find it useful.
Very helpful, concise and good subject matter knowledge.
Man, you really know this panel...Very nice video...The G3X has so much to it, I learn something new every time I fly. My biggest gripe with the Bluetooth aspects is I'm limited to 2 connections. I have a GDL39 ads-b antenna and I also use a GDL52 (for Sirius Weather) and with my iPad connected I can't utilize both sources. Or connect my iPhone. Garmin was sleeping when they limited the Bluetooth connections.
Great info, thanks Adam!
Another wonderful video, thank you! Do you know if the G3X etc works with FltPlanGO?
astounding video Midwest Panel Builders. I killed the thumbs up on your video. Always keep up the wonderful work.
Very kind of you, Keyser. We appreciate the feedback, and thanks so much for watching.
@@MidwestPanels no problem at all. always happy to support my fellow content creators. i am looking forward to improving on my own current video format i have uploaded and, in the future, trying to create content as good as yours in the long term.
Thanks for the info, super helpful!
Glad to hear it, Thaddeus. Thanks so much for watching. Stay tuned for more
Thanks!
For the Eis can you Bluetooth to the G700L?
Great Video you really know about those Garmin boxes. I have a question I've got a G3X and a TRIG TT21 transponder, is there a chance we could program the TT21 on the G3X and control it from there? Thanks in advance
Unfortunately no that will not be possible.
Hi Adam Thanks for this great video. Do you know if the connection also work with ForeFlight? Thanks for your efforts ‼️
He mentioned that Foreflight also works, other than adjusting the music volume.
Very nice. Will an iPad that is Wi-Fi only, i.e. does not have internal GPS, function in the same manner as what you’re showing in the video? I assume ”yes” as it is pulling in the required data via Bluetooth from the G3X.
Yes it will.
On G3x touch can use EIS on Pilot app?
Hi, do you need to use a flight stream 510 to connect to the GTN650 or are you connecting through the G3X only??
No you do not need a Flight Stream with the G3X.
@@MidwestPanels Thanks for the response, Is the flight stream 510 now redundant? or does it have a place in this set up?
@@Slingtsi in this setup the only thing it would be useful for is for the updates to the GTN, as it will allow wireless updates to the database..
If I were to just have a single G3X and a GTR200B, Will I have bluetooth music to my intercom? And will I -in that case- be able to simultaneously use my iPhone to send/receive flightplan updates to/from the G3X over bluetooth AND have bluetooth music sent to the GTR200B?
Yes if the GTR 200B is used as your intercom then Bluetooth will be on the intercom but it can only accommodate a 2 place setup. Yes you can connect to the GTR 200B and the G3X separately.
@@MidwestPanels Thanks for the info, it's what I was hoping to hear
Nice info, but I think I would have gotten more out of it without the music. It's like being in a classroom, but several people are talking over the lecture. The audio competition isn't necessary.
Sorry about that, EJ - we didn't realize it was that distracting. We'll make sure to avoid that next time. Thanks for the feedback and thanks so much for watching!
Hi Adam, this is a great video. Can I respectfully ask you talk a little slower so my old brain can keep up with your younger one 😉
Hey, David. Sorry for the delay - we've had a heck of a month. Just got back from South Africa. We'll do our best to accommodate our viewers. Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for watching!
