I remember watching a Top Gear review of the 2006 S-Class and being amazed by the technology. Now those features are available is most entry level cars. I wouldn't be surprised if in 10-15 years most cars are electric and have many of the features that the EQS has. Few people with actually own an EQS but the innovations it pioneers will have a trickle down effect throughout the industry.
Yep, that's always been the case, the luxury cars get the new innovations but 10-15yrs later they've become commonplace. I'm looking forward to when cars with those features are available for us mere mortals 😂🤣😅

Paddle shifters on electric cars are for adjusting the regenerative braking (when you lift your foot of the accelerator, the car slows down much more than it would in a gas car and it gives some power back into the battery).
Phones are getting reviewed outdoor in the parks, cars are getting reviewed inside a studio. Tech is evolving.
And tech channels are de-evolving. How does it make sense to "review" a car without even driving it, or showing it on the road?

To my thinking, once again Daimler Benz has shown the way. With the EQS they have produced a technological masterpiece combined with sumptious luxury. Combining Mercedes legendary build quality and attention to detail rivalling only Rolls Royce and Bentley, yet providing more than adequate performance coupled with outstanding range. Mercedes has yet once more established the benchmark for others to aspire to and it's pretty high. I was never a fan of Mercedes as a younger man until I had chance to start driving several over the years...

You forgot to show when you want to adjust the side mirrors you just look at each of the mirrors and the car knows which mirror you want to adjust and it does it for you. Very cool!
Also you don’t have to mention what seat you are in when giving seat specific commands. The car knows. Plus you can operate doors, the roof etc with hand gestures
Hi just wondering does the door have a sensor so that it would not bump into other car doors parked close by or how does it work
What happens if your in a tight parking space and you try to open the doors will it try to open completely and bounce the car next to you or if there is another type of obstacle that your parked next too how far will the door open???
