Wimbledon longer highlight please. It starts directly from 4-5.
These highlight clips lasting around 2.40mins have been attracting a lot of criticisms from day 1 of the championship, thats why all the other clips are now hidden. They need to sack their digital media team, I've seen better work from 8 year old.
Manoj Samal: they called it wimpledon for nothing.
extracrucial ur totally speaking out of context here
Venus has had so many heartbreaking losses, including this one!
Heartbreaking would be if it were close or she made one or two mistakes that cost her the match. She got smoked
Well no she clearly didn’t, she had two set points.
She got bageled. I don't think she was mad that it slipped away...more like Muguruza snatched her wig with no mercy.
5-4 . 40-15 . 2 set points . And then Venus suddenly vanished ..
She quit today...Pretty sad to lose 9 straight games but she knew it was likely over after she could not close the deal in the First Set... Great run for her in Wimbledon but not her finest moment today
OCPARKWAY Venus isn't a player who assumes that she can't win a match unless she wins the first set. She's a fighter and she had nothing left in the tank in the 2nd set
Venus is 37 most players are retired from professional tennis before that. Chris Evert at 33, Stefi Graf retired at 30, Martina Hingis at 22 but later had a come back.
Jeffrey Kaufmann I never said she assumes that she can't come back from One set down. .I'm saying Venus blew some big chances in the first set that effected her in the second Set...I don't think Venus would have been shutout in the Second set if she had won the first set.. She was not mentally strong enough Saturday and it showed..Maybe Venus even wins if she holds on that first set? Who knows...
OCPARKWAY With Venus it's just as much physical as mental.even if she won the 1st set she would have lost it in three. .
So hard to see it as a Venus fan! She let it slip away! Had 2 set points . I have a feeling if she had won the first set she’d win the whole thing
so much in tennis is about momentum and confidence, self-belief. When V lost this set it was over.
Started good but went fading away. Good run Venus, congrats Mugu. Hope Vee can get her stellar year going. 37 and still going strong.
I'm a Muguruza fan but I really want Venus to win the US Open, I feel like this year she absolutely deserves it.
Congratulation Garbiñe Muguruza and Spain from bangladesh
I still watch this match and get sad :( . I can tell how much that hurt....
Que gran alegría, que gran encuentro deportivo, un excelente año para Garbiñe Muguruza, desde entonces es y será el orgullo de sus fans , de su familia y de si misma.
wow looking back at some of these finals ... I watched them live but watching the highlights now, I don't remember having watched it lol
The point at 40-15, 5-4...Venus should of went for it. She had time to hit that first fh more at an angle to pull her off the court or inside-out fh.. That first set was so good!
I know even the last forehand should have gone inside out DTL
what an atrocious line call on championship point!
why? she win that point
Yes, because she could challenge the call. But the ball was not going so fast and it was called in. It's also weird that Asderaki did not overrule, she's an excellent umpire o.o
Heartbreaking
Salvando dos bolas de Set en contra y remontando el set a 7-5 y ganando el siguiente 6-0 BRUTAL
Omg this could have been number 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆8😭😭
Venus is so gracious in defeat. I was sad that day. But Garbine did well. Woke up early that day before my tournament. Still worth it. It's Wimbledon.
Such a brilliant first set that have way to a farcical second. Venus Venus Venus this was so your title....what went wrong
Others deserved to win too. That:'s what went wrong.
Her age may be
bravo Muguruza !!
A Great win and A perfect second set from Muguruza ; - )
2017 española torneo ingles eres campeona 100 años felicidades!!!!
Congrats to Garbiñe on winning her first Wimbledon title! Gutted for Venus though. I think the rallies perhaps took a toll on her during the match. And then the errors she made just didn't help her either. But still proud of her amazing run at Wimbledon. Good luck next year! 👍🏻
Que bien Muguruza, partidazo, el tenis femenino español renace
damn. had she just grabbed that first set. things may have turned out differently. oh well. glad to see Venus back in another final. 2 this year is amazing. bring on the US Open!
T Yea she is 37 too and if she wins it will be Crazy. She has definitely been getting better and she proves with hard work age doesn't matter as much.
- - - new talent and actual merit always deserve to create a place for itself - - -
Been rooting for Muguruza for quite a while now. Well done, Garbine. Very well done.
Felicidades Garbiñe Muguruza! muy muy bien! !!!!
I'm happy Venus made it to the final...
On her absolute worst day, Venus Williams should never lose a set 6-0 on a grass court anywhere, let alone Center Court at Wimbledon 🤦🏾♂️ Totally disappeared that day
Congratulations Miss RUZA u r welcome new member WIMBLEDON 2017.
Yep was Venus’s title to win and she lost it. Was very sad to watch.
It was never her title to win
Felicidades campeona
campeona!!!
Well done, Garbi my baby!
bravo!
Anyone has the full match or extended highlights of this match ?
Muguruza is the only player to win Williams sisters in Grand Slam Women's Singles final!
grande Garbiñe..😘😘
A thrilling women's final. I enjoyed it all. Something tells me the men's final won't be so entertaining.
Just think, on that set point if the ball that clipped the net was an inch lower, Venus would have won the set and possibly the match.
Venus was making so many errors it was amazing. Muguruza deserved to win.
After Wimbledon 2019 Ladies final?
HAI SIMONA!
The men’s 2019 final hurts the same like this
Well done Garbine, totally dominated that second set and finally good see someone beat one of those Williams sisters
I think the Angie Kerber/Muguruza game had more of a final feel to it. This wasn't exciting.
That's cause Venus didn't belong there. She got there cause one opponent self destructed and another was worn out by having the toughest draw.
That often happens. I remember Kvitova destroying Bouchard in 2014 Wimbledon final. In the same year Petra had a great battle against Venus in the third round; i wish that was the final!
I wanted Venus to win :(
Me too :(.
Same but as always it's best on that day
@1 Garoto 2 Mundos Margaret Court has 24 Grand Slams, and Serena 23. 24 and 23 >> 22.
The court is in absolutely shocking condition. What a disgrace!
Uh, if you’d seen the court on Day 1, you’d know that for 14 days straight, people have running all over it. So, yes, expect the court to look like that towards the end of the tournament.
I love when venus started with ace like boss.
Felicidades Garbiñe!!!!
They should at least do best of 5 sets for the final.
Mate, Venus was already done by the second set, a third one would have been a massacre, I do agree women should play to five but I dont think we will see it happen, I firmly believe when they start doing so their quality and overall physical form will improve and it will be better for their sport.
Jack Taber wrong way for womens tennis. They can't do 5 sets (and surely not several times in a row), the level would be horrible so there would be no benefit for anybody.
pretty sure the women players get paid less because they bring in less spectators, matches are shorter and stuff. they dont get paid as much as men.
3 sets minimum for sure. I disagree that women couldn't handle longer play and think that actually it would bring more interesting players to the top of the sport, those that had a lot of duration and could really run around, rather than the ones who just smash it with a bunch of unreturnable serves.
Rylen Gamo The prize money at the Grand Slam tournaments is exactly the same for men and women.
Between Wimbledon copyright blocking KZhead highlights & ABC not even showing any matches, this major tournament = terrible fan experience.
I really thought Muguruza's career would take off after this win. Granted, she later claimed the #1 ranking after reaching the 4th round of the US Open three months later, but her performance in Slams has been terrible since this win in the '17 Wimby....the best she has done is the French semis in 2018 and has three 2nd round losses and 2 1st round losses. As I write this, she just made the 4th round at the Aussie, so perhaps 2020 is her year.
que pena Venus. 😥
Powerful baseline shots allowing the opponent to make unforced error. Good call on Match point. Great Match
She's the new Rafa for the women
The climax of this match sums up women's tennis perfectly
Spain is the queen and Spain is the king.
Aaaaaaaaaahh aaaaaaaaaahh aaaaaaaaaahh!!!!!!
....AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
J. T. Aaaaahhhhh!!!!!!Ahhhhhhh!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
right
Eeeeeeeyyeeeeaaaaa eeeeaaayyeeeaaahh!!
Venus got bagelled ?. Woah. that is amazing. Did not see the match so cant say if she was bad or if Muguruza was that good.
stet bounce lovely shot in timing 2.46 play time
Wow
Biggest difference between Serena and Venus is their mentality on winning. Serena could probably care less about winning if it didn't mean she had to lose lol. It's more so her hate for losing that pushes her to win. Like when she said I'd rather be winning titles than to be 1 in the world some people thought it was weird but I understood it. For Venus to be in a final of her favorite tournament and not show any passion really upset me. Not one "Come on!", no fist pumps, nothing, and I know she's much known as being very poised and composed on court but that second set she needed something to lift her and she gave in. It was hard to watch my favorite tennis player of all time go out like that. I was very disappointed in what I saw.
Where are longer highlights from this match?
Did Venus do well in tournaments after this one? I feel like she checked out of tennis after this Wimbledon match.
I want to see Venus win one more slam and call it a career.
Hasn't happened and definitely isn't going to at this point.
Que humillacion para Williams !
WHO IS THE GIRL SITTING NEXT TO CONCHITA (Mugu's ex or still smth???)
garbine weighs 161 pounds :O ? she is heavier than serena?
weil that was surprising
Remember watching Navratalova at 37, get to final and lose also.
Que baile le puso en el segundo set. 😂😂
afford it looks for me deeply mytiigal "great x‑d
❤ Garbiñe ❤
I was rooting for Venus but good game. Congrats Mugaruza!
A bagel in the final. Lmfao.
SRKarting yeh then championship point was challenged when it was clearly way out! I believe that is a why they haven’t put full match on !! Is it an embarrassment to them??!!!
Freakin didn't even show her lift the trophy at the end. What kinda highlights was this?!
new woman tennis star is born, congrats the spaniards
😻👍👍👍👍👍👍
Roger Federer won the men's final Many errors but This was a great match Though !
muguruza 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Venus is such a class act. I love her attitude towards her competition. Muguruza did great.
clay court?
Здесь должен был быть, титул у Венус, но со счета 4:5 и 15/40 в пользу Венус, как-будто силы ушли и усталость наполнила Венус, как бы было символично, победа турнира для Венус, возвращение Королевы Уимблдона, жаль...
Why is Wimbleton being so cheap and not showing a full match? If a match is over 6 months old or something I don't see why they won't show a full match. They can insert advertisements or something if they want money from it.
Richard's World Traveler they are embarrassed by bagel and championship point challenge
muguruza vuole vivacchiare vincere qualche torneo è consigliabile che voglia vincere sempre
Man Venus really blew that SP. Shame
Dont personally see what people see in Muguruza. Dont like her. Dont think she will dominate in the way the pundits are desperate for her to do so
Win or lose u gotta love Venus, she is all class and a legend, earlier in her career i thot she was kind of a bithc but now its serena who always has attitude and Venus seems so humble and a sweetheart, congrats to muguruza but what a couple weeks by a 37 year old Venus, keep fighting Venus u still got it, there wont ever be another one like her at her age
MurdaMeeks yeah, she really kills it. especially road-kill.
LOL .. Btcih ha ha ha , I reckon both these sis are BIG B...hes as they are highly unsportswoman like and cheat as well, a lot of instances where they cheated... plus even today the last ball was miles out yet the people went blind.... All Hale to Garbin'e
✌✌✌
I watched this live. the first set was so intense and close but the second set was just disappointing. i love venus but I don't know what happened to her out there
Must of been a loud final.
2:26- my reaction to muguruza winning
Gets to 5-4 And 2 break points then loses 9 games in a row. Did Venus give up, or did Garbine just dial it up?
Alasdair Duncan Garbine dialed it up, but I think Venus also ran out of energy. She does have Sjögren's after all, and I think the combination of that, plus losing two set points, really deflated her.
Martin Mallit Like I said, I think it was more emotional deflation at losing those set points than running out of energy, although that could've been a possibility. She played brilliantly up until the finals.
Venus and serena always make it a point to be gracious. But that had to sting. Shame.
Best tournament, worst highlights.
Venus. A true champion
the sounds coming out of venus's mouth are shocking.
And then Muguruza vanished
spanish oleee champions
