Best striper fishing in Ga is Lake Juliette in Juliette Ga. It’s a 3,600 acre lake at Ga Power plant Scherer. My largest striper caught there was 38 pounds. Amazing lake with huge large mouth, crappie, hybrids, and just about everything else. I live in Florida now and miss fishing there immensely.

Generally when you get into stripers they hit hard and fast once you figure what they're hitting on. I've used small to medium spoons, spinners daredevils yellow jigs and shiner minnows. Have had them hit as fast as you can unhook one bait up and get bait or lure back in the water. And go like that for about an hour. Lots of fun and great eating

That's the best kind of chaos to have.
My go to bait for both stripers and red drum is live blue crabs. Twist off one big claw and crunch the other one for the scent. Legal if carapace width is legal and crabs are caught in season in a legal manner. Does Seminole Swamp Seasoning still exist, or do you no longer deal with them?
