Mary Ellen, thank you for acknowledging the moms who are estranged from their children. I cannot have a relationship with my son due to his narcissistic wife. It is an impossible situation. I dread Mother’s Day. Ugh….my mother passed about 10 years ago along with my husbands mom. I feel your pain this Mother’s Day as well. We are not alone. Thank you for being here and just keeping me company in my craft room. You rock. ❤

Hi Mary Ellen, I’m so glad I found your channel. I really want to make planning a habit and am hoping decorating will help with that. I’m pretty creative but I was surprised by how difficult I found it to be to decorate my spread and have it not look like a 5yo did it! I think watching your plan with me’s will help. What a lovely Mother’s Day spread !!! There isn’t a day that passes that I don’t think about my mom whose now in heaven. 😢 I miss her dearly & this is the hardest time for me. I am not a mom but I am now a proud cat 🐈 mom of 4. 🥰. But I want to take this opportunity to wish you & all the mommies out there a beautiful Mother’s Day ;especially those that are going through difficult times.right now. 💐🌸🌹
Mother's Day is bitter sweet for me. I lost my mom 5 yrs ago, but I'm a mom of a teen and now an infant. It's like I want to celebrate all that I've gone through to become (and being) a mom...spending the day doing absolutely nothing, but then I'm in my thoughts wishing my mom (and grandmother) was here. Thank you for acknowledging that Mother's Day can be hard. I know you get it. Hugs!

Thank you Mary Ellen. My son and DIL lost a baby last year in June he was 34 days old. She is feeling like she is out of the loop. I intend on sending her a mothers Day card and gift. I appreciate you and your efforts.
You are so right, when you said that Mother's Day can be hard for a lot of folks. I see them too. Thank you for that reminder , to anyone dreads that day. I think of my grandmother for Mother's Day , she was more of an influence on me more than. my Mom. She passed away a decade ago , at 85. Such a lovely & dainty spread.
I love this sticker book and I used so many of the stickers to decorate my Mother's Day cards. I love that it has everything, and I didn't have to use any other book for boxes, quotes or other stickers. The color combinations and variety of florals are so beautiful. Mothers are also those who may not have biological children but serve as a mother-figure in the lives of others. Thank you for acknowledging everyone.

Mary Ellen you should contact management and let them know you work from home and that there is constant coming from the apartment above you that is affecting your work and then let them handle your neighbor. We've had to file noise complaints at times.
They did ask me how it was going and I ended up telling them. They said they’ll talk to her

Look up my moving checklist video. I broke off my engagement. And unfortunately, with it went the craft room. It’s been a rough time. Moving again soon.
@@PlanningwithBumble Ugh!! I am so sorry!! That's a huge double whammy!! No way to work it out..... ?? I know from my experiences that It is really hard to find someone at our age because we are so set in our ways. I am also an introvert that only leaves the house to go to work basically. Having groceries and everything delivered became the norm during Covid. I had a craft room the same size and right above our 3 car garage. I had scrapbooking parties in there till we hours of the morning and could be as loud and giggly as we wanted and it bothered no one. But life as always, got difficult... several deaths in the family, job changes for both him and I to try to find that happiness that we thought we lost but was really just mourning... Put a strain on the finances and then the 25 year marriage. I came home one day after going to urgent care after work because I thought I was having a heart attack . Just a panic attack. But I walked in and said, "I'm too stressed, let's sell, move back to a small house in our home town and find us again." 6 weeks later we were moving all our stuff to storage went to return the moving truck and didn't come back. My youngest daughter and I moved in with my parents until we got into a little duplex on one side of her school and he went to an apartment on the other side. That was 5 years ago. We are still married. He still shows up at my parents for all the holidays. He just doesn't talk to me. I REALLY regret selling our home!! I cant quite decide which I mis most, my craft room, or my big gorgeous bath tub. I do know I miss him the most.
@@kimberlyelkins8150 sorry to hear that. Life is full of changes. If I’ve learned anything it’s that you just have to roll with it and keep moving and keep growing. Life is about learning lessons and making better decisions as a result of what you’ve learned, so that’s what I’m doing. Life is too short to stay in unhappy situations. We tried, many many times. Unless there’s some big surprising shift, we both need to move on.
