ABOUT GOTHAM KNIGHTS
Gotham Knights is a brand-new open world, third-person action RPG featuring the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death. An expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham, and it is now up to these new heroes to protect the city, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops and fear to its criminals. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight.

I like how Robin falls off the slab. He got the same dose of gas as all the others and he may be intelligent and competent but he's also just a kid ;_;
Are you ready for nightmares in the labyrinth? We got circus death, fear of disowning, death of a father, and the curse of resurrection. All 4 can be found at the Court of Owl’s Labyrinth of Hooties and Torture. 😂
And if you don't come out traumatized, you get your money back!
Guaranteed you’ll be questioning your existence or your money back!
@@MTdaBlacking That is if you can escape the Talons. 😈
Side effects may include deep emotional scarring and long lasting trauma 🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@Silly.little.critter Treatment? Sorry, no therapists exist in the DC Universe after the last one turned into a clown with a hammer.
This was great, a sequence right out of the New 52 Court of Owls run. Each character’s experience is done right, I played as Jason which made it especially intense.
I think it would be cooler if Jason's hallucination would be him the same room as the Joker as he beats him down... Seems much scarier to think about if you ask me.
Totally agree, while I was playing as Nightwing I thought that was gonna be Jason’s version.
I thought that they might have shown a recreation of his place of death, along with his resurrection, but this worked as well. (We did have previous version of such a hallucination in Arkham Knight, so maybe they wanted to establish some distance from that series? 🤷🏽♀️)
Not really. I would be more traumatized about knowing I was trying to kill my family at one point. I think Jason seeing him kill his dad would mess with him more.
I could see that, but I guess they felt that after a while game series with The Joker in front, they wanted to keep him off the board as much a possible, which I can also understand.
Batgirl’s are the best fit for this sequence. But all of the characters’ visions are eerie and heartbreaking, in equal parts.
Nah Jason Todd
@@DeadStrike9 Can you do all my essays ? Like chill nigga
Tim ☹️☹️☹️
Don't forget to add Dick's, Tim's and Jason's Stories to your Side Activities playlist.
Done. Thanks for reminding me. ;)
@@BatmanArkhamVideos how do you do so much so quickly????
@@BatmanArkhamVideos The legend himself actually replies to a comment?
@@BatmanArkhamVideos You’re amazing.
Jason's feels like a bit of a missed opportunity. i mean if there's any part of the game where you would want a Joker cameo, it's here.
This game was weirdly adverse to even mentioning Joker, I didn't hear him referred to by name once
@@Nosfera22 I've found exactly one mention of him by name, in the files you unlock from finding city landmarks
Was just thinking this. As I was playing through as red hood I thought maybe they would at least do a laugh but... The only hint at all was the crowbar. Very odd.
I kinda wish Bruce had more cutting comments for each of his sidekicks. Maybe let Alfred throw some barbs in there too.
seriously each one could have been unique. They used the same generic dialog for each. BORING
Wow was thinking this. Thanks, BAV. You are awesome
It just isn't a post Arkham Batman game unless someone is hallucinating.
best batman channel ever your the 🐐 bro
when i saw batman limping i immediately thought of new 52. well, the whole labyrinth made me think of new 52
The parallels r real
You know, I have to give this game credit. Despite how boring and repetitive gameplay is handled, Gotham Knights certainly is tight on atmosphere, especially when recreating that infamous moment in the New 52 Batman comics where the Caped Crusader is trapped in the Court of Owls' frightening maze. Wish there was a little more variation in what each of the Knights experience. Their unique fears only come near the end of this segment.
Boring?
@Punch Down King bruh what do u guys means boring I’m confused
@@supersaiyangodvegtio9590 As an adjective boring describes something (or someone) that is tedious, dull, and lacking in interest. As a noun, boring refers to the act of drilling a hole, or the hole itself. I think in this case it is an adjective: not interesting; tedious.
@@jgeorge288 I don't think he literally doesn't understand what the word means. I think he just doesn't comprehend the idea that other people find the game boring.
@@jlev1028 na, that can't be it lmao.
Nightwing hallucinating himself faceplanting into the ground really took me out of the moment, my sense of humour must be fucked because as soon as I saw that and heard the meaty thud I was laughing like a madman.
Waiting for pt 10
I see WB Montreal incorporated elements from Rocksteady Arkhamverse levels featuring The Scarecrow and Mad Hatter for this level. Unfortunately this doesn’t nearly measured to those previous games.
You didn’t include any of the dialogue of when you get hit by the spikes.. especially for Red Hood, those are the most interesting parts
The Voices' phrase reminds me a bit of either the Riddler or the Mad Hatter.
Why didn’t they show the most important part of Jason’s history? Him getting beaten to death by Joker.
No story parts anymore? Cmon i want to watch it here bcuz ur so good and professionel dont wanna watch it from someone else
The fact that Dr. Jonathan Crane is mentioned nowhere in context of the labyrinth has me a bit peeved. I guess he just isn't a villain yet? But made the gas? Because the gas was clearly fear gas, the labyrinth can't have been just set pieces.
I know that in the comic version of the story arc, all these hallucinations happened to Batman because of sleep and food deprivation on top of being almost completely dehydrated.
@@MTdaBlacking Yeah, though there is no implication of that in the game
@@High-LordHarza Yeah it's really disappointing. There's just no buildup for anything in this game. It's all just thrown at you really quickly.
THIS REMINDS ME OF THE RAS AL GHUL CHALLENGE IN ARKHAM CITY OR THE SCARECROW HALLUCINATIONS IN ARKHAM ASYLUM AND ARKHAM KNIGHT
Scarecrow's hallucinations in Arkham Asylum were quite insane if you ask me. The "glitching" part was one thing, but his entire maze with him as a giant was on a different level back then.
OH REALLY
I think each character should have had a unique villain from their past show up, I think for Dick it should be Tony Zucco, for Babs Firefly from her Year One Comic, For Tim it should be Azrael Jean Paul Valley, since he was the one who replaced Batman during Knightfall and nearly killed Tim. And for Red Hood I think it should be none other than the Joker, have them relive some of their worst times.
I think William Cobb would have been better for Dick, since both Cobb/Talon, and Dick are connected to the Court. Wouldn't have said no to Deathstroke as aDick villain. Barbara could have gotten Gordon Jr, or Mary Turner/Talon, who even worked with Barbara for a time, as Strix.
Damn, your Red Hood pistols look cool
THE RED HOOD HALLUCINATION MUST BE HE REMINDS WHEN HE WAS TORTURED AND KILLED BY THE JOKER AND RESURRECTED WITH THE LAZARUS PIT
Yes, because we aren't reminded of all that enough during the whole game, right?
NO WAY REALLY
The court of owls reminds me of Scarecrow.
Gotham City: Hiring a Robin(not Tim Drake).
Tim makes me so sad
Easter eggs of the game please!! :')
The people of Gotham city. Without batman, it's like they lost hope.
I was imagine batman be taller
they really needed to use the same generic Bruce dialog for each Knight.. lmao talk about cutting corners.
Why does he call Jason “Red Robin” when RR is Tim Drake (who also has the RR costume)? Seems like an oversight.
Red Robin was originally Dick Grayson from Kingdom come’s universe before it was given to Jason during his redemption arc in infinite crisis iirc then finally given to Tim Drake in main continuity and yada yada so technically Grayson and Jason had the title and suit before so he technically wouldn’t be wrong like if they called Grayson or Jason a Robin.
Dude can’t catch a break, 3RD Robin and Red Robin😂😂
Are u kidding me? 1 walkthrough video in 1 day?
Part 10
A literary can't do it
First !!
Nightwing is the alleged "canon" one because the cutscene at the belfry implies it was Dick who entered the labyrinth because he's receiving medical treatment from Alfred who finished up some patchwork while Dick is still wincing at his wounds. There goes your freedom of choice and continuity. This game is lazy as hell.
You’re b!tching over that ONE instance? Lol This game has issues, no one is denying that but come on man
Cry harder, you entitled child. They could also just be out partolling
But Tim is also panicking, so I guess the canon is that all 4 went in?
Pretty sure they all go since Tim said “it got to me” or something along that
@@polartang250 No, the game is dog vomit but people already know this. The character interactions are the only thing that keep this thing on life support.
The voice acting is bad
