The Difficult Path for Christians Fleeing China
Three years ago, 62 members of the China's Shenzhen Reformed Holy Church, also known as the Mayflower Church, fled to South Korea to escape persecution from the Communist government. They requested political asylum in South Korea, but were denied. The church is now in Thailand, where members hope to gain refugee status, and eventually resettle in the United States. Until then, they face many challenges, including possible arrest by Thailand immigration police and being sent back to China.

Even though they are suffering, they keep singing.. How beautiful. This makes me think about the Christians who living in a freedom country who become atheist, and wasting their time in sinful life. How ironic.
Persecution always weeds out the real Christians from the nominal. Persecution is coming rapidly to the USA.
When you face death as a Christian, you sing with joy to our Lord. That's just the normal, Christian response. You enjoy the privilege of being saved in spite of everything. You value every day. When you live in a licentious environment, surrounded by people who are slaves to sin and corruption, the temptations are far greater. This is more difficult for Christians to overcome. The Christ indwelling us is not afraid of death, or even torture, but our hearts are very unfaithful to Him in the face of temptation to reach for the forbidden fruit

Praise the Lord. I will be praying for our Sisters and Brothers in China. The American church has no idea how blessed it is to have the freedom to worship without the persecutions faced in other countries. We can walk into a bookstore to purchase a Bible and so many of us don’t even read the word diligently. Lord please be with our dear family in China. In Jesus name Amen 🙏🏽

Amen! I just got done talking to my sister about this, there are so many ppl who take for granted the freedoms that we have at our fingertips it's sad.
Thank you for mentioning what's happening in China. Although topics like this may not interest a lot of people. Bit as a Chinese Christian, seeing topics like this being mentioned is still a comfort to me. I believe that God will raise intercessors for China for the soon-coming great harvest in China. And before I come to US at 2017, there is revival in China, and Holy Spirit working mightily in China.. and 2018 the persecussion started to hit. Pray that more Christians in the world could pray for people in China, for Christians standing strong, for people's hearts be opened more to the Gospel Truth. Nowadays, "China", "Chinese government", "Chinese people in China", "Chinese Christians in China", these words carry different meanings. The world needs Christians coming out of China to carry the Gospel message to the world. Please have a big heart and pray out the will of God for China, which has a great population. "God so love the world.. " right?

Unfortunately this is going to be the norm for many Christians across the world in these last days. They will force us to deny our Lord Jesus Christ, we must pray that we don't give in and fight the good fight of faith. And fear the one who can destroy both the body and soul🙏🏽

I am very disappointed that South Korea ultimately disapproved the 16 Families Mayflower Church's Asylum. South Korea is suffering a LOW BIRTH RATE. This could be a win/win trend to take-in Asian Christians. South Korea already has an established Christian population, peacefully along side Buddhism.
I dont believe S Korea did this. They were saying that the govt is communist and persecuted them. South Korea is Capitalist, and have a wide range of churches , including millions of christians. NORTH KOREA is communist.
I Watched the video twice. They were forced to leave South Korea & went to Thailand. And I'm quite aware of the stark differences between North & South Korea. Off the wall tip: I highly recommend K-Dramas. So much better than Hollywood. Great Culture! 👍

Keeping our/ rust in Christ is most important, the underground church in China stand strong in faith because Christ covers all His people no matter where they are. Their faith is all they need.
Don't fear my friend, remember that God could do the impossible, say to yourself that i believe God would save me from pain, suffering and death. Even if you don't know if God would save you, because he does not save us all from pain and suffering, it's still very good to say to yourself of the impossible God could do for us, because it gives us a power to overcome fear and believe on God more so when things get bad or worse in our lives atleast we have stronger faith in God.
Sometimes I just sit back and wonder why people in this world can just chose to prey and these peace loving people called Christians... Look at the innocence in the faces of these people.. Look at how meek and humble they look.. What is their offence for Christ sake???

My heart aches for brothers and sisters in christ that is going through the same thing. Psalm 23 to those who is going through persecution and know that God won’t let your labour goes to waste.
