Bob Fu, founder, and president of ChinaAid, is regularly in contact with Christians all over China. He says that, in an era of harsh government restrictions and a complete lack of religious freedom, churches are still being planted and leaders continue to baptize new believers in China.
Author of God’s Double Agent, Bob sheds light China’s new “patriotic education” law instigated earlier this year by Xi Jinping and the Communist Party - including its mandate for Chinese living overseas. He will also discuss protests that broke out across Chinese universities early in 2023 as young people displayed their discontent with the government.
Communist Party leaders continue to sweep their Christian persecution under the rug, categorizing the arrest of pastors and Christians as “illegal business activity” or financial fraud rather than violating religious regulations. As the government continues its tight reign over technology, they have removed Bible apps to eliminate access to God’s Word. In spite of these efforts, ministries including The Voice of the Martyrs continue to deliver Bibles into the hands of Chinese believers.
Listen as Bob shares updates on Pastor Wang Yi, serving a 9-year prison sentence, and Pastor Pan, who recently moved to America with his Mayflower Church congregation. Bob will also share a letter from Pastor John Cao, serving a 7-year sentence in prison, in which he writes, “Please rejoice for me. Jesus has died on the cross for me. It is my utter joy to be imprisoned for my Lord.”
As you pray for Chinese Christians like Pastor Wang Yi, John Cao, and others who are imprisoned, ask the Lord to sustain them through the Holy Spirit. Pray for their persecutors to find hope in Jesus. As they go through intense persecution, pray they would continue to fear the Lord above everything.

These are amazing testimonies of such brave people & martyrs for Christ & what we have not yet had to face in the west. Their faith in Jesus Christ must be so strong that they are willing to be put in prison & tortured for their faith at any time. I can only hope that my faith would stay strong & that I woud be able to put up with such torture & imprisonment for my faith in Jesus Christ.

What an amazing story .. l always pray for the persecuted church but we in America cannot even image this and yet l think American christians are about to be tested 🙏
UK and Australia are going to be tested as well. Sadly, communism is very slowly spreading all over the world and Christianity is being treated as a mental illness and if you talk about Jesus to a psychiatrist, they will try to medicate you. it is all part of testing our faith.

Many of these Chinese believers are truly heroes of the faith. They are the wounded soldiers in the battlefield. And they serve to remind me to not take my Christian faith for granted. I salute them for their tenacity & faithfulness in serving the Lord despite all odds & persecutions.

Chinese cultures if they are accepted Jesus Christ they are so devoted,and they don't fear to face death they worship to Jesus Christ 💖 their faith so pure.and they won't give up .as we Christians we shouldnt fear the persecution the holy spirit strengthen us to stand even cause of our life.our body in this earth is temporary .God replace our body with eternal so no need to fear death on this earth.
Having to register a church is not uncommon knowledge in China. If you are a Pastor in China, you should know this. Understand what you can and cannot do there, to avoid illegal activities. Trials in US take just as long if not longer than those in China. Prison population in US is larger than in China (China's population is 4x larger than US)

You need to register a church in China to operate legally. No underground churches are allowed... to prevent extremism and to prevent undermining peace, harmony and the govt. One problem of the Christian churches in China is that they bring their politics with spreading Christianity. Organizations like 'china aid' are funded by State Dept and CIA connected organizations like NED. Separate you Christianity and your politics and you might have better relationships with the govt and its people. They are different from the West and when you go there you should respect their laws.

Stop being so dramatic! I have been living in Macau and Hongkong and Guangzhou in China and worshipping in Catholic churches there. I have never been imprison. Worshipping any religion is not a crime in China. But preaching and spreading any religion in China is a crime. You will be imprisoned for that.
