  • The ingenuity of some people man… that connection idea for the 2 sleds is brilliant

  • Another planer jointer jig, we've all seen them before ... but as usual, Mr CarpenTAK has taken it up a level ... another well thought out design 👍

  • This is much better than many of the other jointer jigs I’ve seen others make videos on. Once I get around to buying myself a thickness planer I’ll definitely be using this design!

  • Nice sled, I think this design is superior to gluing numerous wedges to MDF! I like hand tools and sold my jointer which, as yours is, limited to 6" anyway. It freed up space in my tiny shop. Hand planes are not for everyone but I can get any board flat on one side. Then I may or may not run it through the planner. Lately it is done by hand tools, no mask, ear protection and no eye protection needed. That is just me, but if I were to copy a sled, this is the one.

  • Great work. If I get a good hold with the wedges, do you think it will be possible to straighten a 2 meter piece?

    @waltermiola3007@waltermiola3007Ай бұрын
    • That's right. I think it is possible. I succeeded with a 1.7 meter wood and I think 2 meters is also possible.
