100%. I'm saying this as a supporter of the protests too. I respect their initial goals. I do not respect the lack of accountability and refusal to understand what they've done. I would actually respect them more if they did at least recognize the negatives and how that makes them the bad guys. That they would call out their own for doing the bad things people report. That they would step in to stop that type of thing (e.g. stopping Jewish students from accessing areas of campus they're legally allowed to be). Idiots with a message, be they liberals/Dems or conservatives/Reps, always fail to do this. This is why outsiders/agitators end up taking control of protests and results in the chaos that happens. They can blame the police and schools all they want, but a hard truth is that they always have the ability to shut down the bad people. If they're going to be victims either way (e.g. excessive force by police or targeted by violent opposition groups), they have a choice to either be no different and lose the battle or live up to what they claim about peace and not wanting violence upon others by standing up against the few amongst their own. Go down with your dignity or with your failures. It'd also help to have a representative or group of reps to speak on behalf of the group. Too many of them are belligerent and inexperienced at speaking. They just sound like idiots... like with their demand that the universities STOP THE WAR. That's the demands of the dumbest people on the planet. Get someone that isn't so stupid to speak for the group.

If students don't agree with their schools' policies, why are they paying to attend? A college/university won't change a policy based upon protest/demand - and certainly not upon disruption/destruction - but might be swayed by loss of funds (if enough students don't attend/pay).
