I take care of her, take her to all her doctor appointments, everything else she needs. Since my dad passed 3+ years ago I found myself not enjoying hunting much anymore. He was right beside me when I took my first deer, alot of milestones. Before he passed I told him I appreciated all the spankings, all the discipline I got from him. My mom is still with me, and like you we had some rocky times but now the older me understands. I did a lot of concrete work in my younger days so now I watch all your videos on the big screen and look forward to every episode. By far u and the crew does the best work I have seen on you tube . And the humor is crazy funny. You are a great and humbling man indeed. And what u did for mom is amazing! U had a 265 lb 59 yr old in tears. God bless you only wish u had a video every day , take care atb John

  • I know this is older but sure is a good one. As kids growing up I feel most of us have a dream of being in position to be able to just give back to our parents. We put them through a lot, and even more that we don’t know about. Congratulations on that Ryan. You’re a good example of hard work and dedication as a son, father, husband and businessman!

  • If you didn't cry watching this you need to reevaluate some things in life. Most heart warming video I have watched in a long time. Ryan hearing your story about being the typical teenager ... leading to mom kicking you out is good for us parents to hear. Tough choice from mom lead to more respect for her. Tough love. Love your channel and seeing your kindness to everyone especially your mother. Thank you for your videos. Wishing you, your family and work family Happy Holidays.

  • BEST VIDEO YOU GUYS HAVE DONE! ❤ I was a disrespectful 18-yr old and had a small issue with my mom where we stopped talking for a couple days and she basically gave me a check in an envelope to cover my first semester of community college along with a letter saying we didn’t have to speak again cuz we just couldn’t communicate without fighting 😢…I’m 39 now and will NEVER forget how it felt to read that letter. We have a GREAT relationship now and I’ve always dreamed of doing something like this to pay her back for the sacrifices she made. Sadly I’m not sure I’ll ever get the opportunity but I’ll find other ways to show her my appreciation over the years…well done ryan!!! 😅😅😅

    • Not everyone gets the chance nor opertunity to do the big things for their moms (or dads) the way we see in this vid, Brian. But there's a lot you can do that I'm sure would mean as much: 1) Tell her you love her. Often. And always. 2) see option one. Oh, and on a more serious note - pay attention to things she says, like: "Oh, I'm thinking of redoing the bathroom/kitchen" or something. That is something you can either do, or maybe do part of. Paint the walls, retile the bathroom, etc. Even if you're not in a place to buy and fit a whole new suite or new kitchen cabinets or whatnot, a decoration like painting? Put the pennys aside, and get your siblings (if any) and/or best mates to come over and blitz a newly decorated kitchen for her. That's just an idea, but I'm sure you get it and know what it is she's "looking to do" and try and pre-empt part of it, or all of it. Trust me - paying out big things like a car, or paying off mortgage - those are amazing, of course. Most of us can't do it. The little stuff? To moms... they mean as much. If not more. Cos you did it for her. And you love her. So again... see option one.

    • @@Iluvantir oh trust me I feel like I’ve spent the last 20 years doing everything I possibly could to do the “little things” just so she knows how much I DO love her and my dad. I’m very fortunate they’re both still here and healthy, but that day is just something that’s ate at me for a long time and probably still will, it’s just how my brain/heart works lol. She doesn’t even recall the event but I’ll never forget it

    • @@brianf7405 Look at it this way: you now know you'll never do anything like it again. That's what regret and pain does: teach. Remember it, but don't let it eat at you. She's your mom. She's obviously forgiven you. It's in the job description after all.

  • This the best video of all Ryan. You can tell the whole crew loves your mom. Francisco and Eric are Gentlemen, you don't see many men these days helping and respecting their friends mother anymore. The destroyer made it look real good job Darryl. When she said "I'm sorry for having bad thoughts about you" I felt that. My best friends mom said the same thing to me when we pulled a prank only I could pull off lol. Much love and utmost respect to you Ryan and the Victory crew.
