  • Ryan, I feel your pain. There is nothing like having to deal with people who think they're so entitled. Customers who hold your money hostage and nit pick every little thing that has anything to do with what you may have worked on. They know that litigation is to time consuming to really bother with unless it is extreme. They are the ones who are guilty of breach of contract, and it doesn't matter how much you try to please them. They will never be pleased and they prey upon the really good business people who go the extra mile to please their customers. I could pay you so many compliments, but I think the best one I can say is, You Are a Good Man!

Blah blah blah....I worked for them when they were together and both of them a couple times after their split up of the business. Once my cousin said to me, " People like to see you do well and be successful but people, some people, just LOVE to see you fall. They seem to get a real kick out of seeing me struggle. • I love your attitude with this patch job. Its such a tough life lesson. I don't know how you see it. But for me in those situations, it isn't about the other person. I have to look at things like that, asking myself the question. "What is worth it to me?" I can take so many different roads. The most tempting is to give into resentment and spite. But I find I really end up hurting myself in the end. Often times, I get the most out of doing acts of service for others, specially if I REALLY don't want to do it. Going through that reminds me to be humble, that there is value in just doing for someone else. At the end of everything, how I feel about myself and my actions when I lay my head on my pillow at night is the most precious thing to me. I try not to live a life where I have to carry guilt or shame around with me. He's so right, its better to not make a big deal over it and do it for her.

  • Ryan, you’ve taken a young kid and you’ve taken him under your wing a teaching how to be a man. You’re literally giving him a blueprint on how to be successful not only in business, but also in life. Us OG subs know how you came up as a kid and got into business and the blood sweat and tears that you put into your business. The way you’re mentioning Eric is heart warming!

I work with the public in an entirely different industry, and quite frankly, these type of people wear me down. You have such a positive outlook. To me, nothing you do appears to be 'easy money' -- but you choose to look at it that way.

    • I carry this advice with me in life and apply it to everything, I hope it will help. If it ain't working out, it's either of only 2 possibilities. You're not trying hard enough, or it's just not your time yet. At that point you can put your best foot forward and as long as you give it your all, you'll always have the reassurance that the ONLY reason is it just isn't your time yet. And the thing about your time, it doesn't expire until you do. So long as you're waking up another day, and long as you're trying your hardest, it's simply a waiting game. Everyone has their time. Good Luck!
