And if he legitimately has an injury then it was done intentionally to get him out of the fight so that he doesn't embarrass his family name.

    • Jake had a hyper-extended elbow during his first fight and almost pulled out of the match. According to his coach, Jakes mobility was severely limited. If you go back and watch that fight you can tell something is off about Jake. Even after he wins, he had a blank stare and didn’t look present. Which makes sense when you are in that much pain. With fight #2 he was in the best shape of his life and had also gotten substantially better after a year of training with some of the best coaches in boxing. People can hate Jake all they want. But fact is, he has an incredible team of coaches and he has been dedicating his entire life to being in training camps. He is actually putting in the work and its paying off. Also btw in fight 2 Paul was prepared to show off more range and skill. But Woodley used a strategy to rush Jake and tie him up in the clinch every few seconds. He was constantly grabbing Jake to wear down his cardio and energy. So to those that found the fight boring, it was because Jake wasn’t being allowed to box. Tyron wanted to prevent Jake from outboxing him number wise and purposely kept him tied up. Despite this, Jake still waited patiently and threw the perfect feint and over hand combo to knock him out in the sixth round.

It was a boring fight except for the lucky punch jake kept throwing over and over. Jake has power but his boxing skill is terrible…but let’s see how he does with some more experience with fighting an actual skilled opponent.

  • Well there goes his career. I can't see him in another fight, period. Hes done. I just don't know who would want a fight with the guy who lost back to back fights to Jake Paul.. If they lost to Woodley now, they'll be the guy who couldn't get a win over the guy who was put to sleep by Jake Paul. I knew once he took the fight on short notice he was going to be risking a lot more than Jake was. Like I said there goes his career. No ones gonna want to risk a fight with Woodley ever again, besides that no one is going to want to even watch Woodley put on another "performance" like those against Jake Paul. I don't plan on putting much respect on Jakes name, not yet at least. Once he gets a real boxer opposite to him in the ring and can put on an entertaining bout, finished by an actual W over a actual Currently Active Pro-Boxer. Not some old man, from a different sport, with no real training or background in boxing. Tommy Fury anyone? Lets get that fight now, enough playing bro lets see is Jake can foreal hang with real competition.

    • in boxing, maybe but you gotta understand that woodley spent most of his life wrestling, he was very good at it. That wrestling made people nervous and they would drop their hands to stuff because he could shoot like greased lightning. He has that athletic power but he just doesn't have the boxing skill to compete with anyone better than a Jake Paul. I don't see it as a stain on him for losing against Paul, Paul is a worthy opponent for Woodley in boxing. It's not like he was beating anyone ranked. I can't stand Woodley so I always enjoy when he loses but this was a last minute replacement fight and I dont think they could have found a better fight to make. He got paid a lot of money to step in there. He'll be back in the ring for sure if some other youtube bum with a billion followers comes along or some up and comer looking for abigger paycheck. There's still mma and K-1 , so it's not like he doesn't have options. He'll never not be a UFC champion and that will sell for awhile.
