For all the rowers out there that don't think they are tall enough for the sport, just remember that 1 seat in the USA boat was 6'0.

- if you look closely its actually a dutch supporter that started swimming from the side when they finished. its a dutch tradition.

That's a fast time, but there didn't seem to be any tailwind. I heard some of the 1964 gold medal eight (USA, Vesper BC) were there to watch--true?

- @@hamishgamble3870Even spacing is when the puddles from bow and 2 make it past stroke and 7 before they take their stroke. It gives 7+8 the best lock on. It takes immense power to do it a high rates.

- Don’t worry about it. We had a couple of six foot four nerds in our boat and no one cared. All kinds of personalities too.
