@Zen Dude that wasn't just my opinion. Every analyst, judge, and Dana White himself said that fight was one of the closest and best fights they've ever seen. If Usman didn't finish Colby at the end, the score cards would have been a draw. You clearly didn't watch the full fight considering everyone knows Usman faked those eye pokes and nut shots. I like both of these fighters but some of Usman's fans really can't accept that Covington is a great fighter and Usman DID NOT dominate that fight like his fanboys wish he did.

@@_Josh___ I'm not a Colby fan. I'm just trying to eliminate fanboy rhetoric from the UFC fanbase. Saying he got shutdown is something a guy who saw the end of the fight in a Facebook clip would say. He provided us with one of the best and closest fights in UFC history. When someone gets shutdown it removes the possibility of a rematch and both fighters acknowledge that the other is better and they move on. There is no rematch the people want more than Colby vs. Usman 2 including Dana White himself. We want it more than McGregor vs. Poirier 3.

The best part of this happening wasn't that Masvidal got knocked out, it's that he had to be humble after the loss and respect Usman for how good he really is.

I was going for and I like Masvidal but damn he really did need to be humbled. Just because he got the fastest knockout in UFC history, he thought he was the sh!t and he underestimated the power of arguably the one of or the greatest Welterweight of all time and didn’t take him seriously

@@francisarinze6928 Covington’s story is pretty well known. He was well respected and well known for being a really good dude. He created his asshole persona so he didn’t get cut from the ufc.

@Zen Dude that wasn't just my opinion. Every analyst, judge, and Dana White himself said that fight was one of the closest and best fights they've ever seen. If Usman didn't finish Colby at the end, the score cards would have been a draw. You clearly didn't watch the full fight considering everyone knows Usman faked those eye pokes and nut shots. I like both of these fighters but some of Usman's fans really can't accept that Covington is a great fighter and Usman DID NOT dominate that fight like his fanboys wish he did.
@@lykastannis7662 It’s true. I think Usman has come a long way since then and will show that there is a gap the second time around, but that first fight was genuinely close and if it went to decision and Colby won, there would have been no robbery.

@@_Josh___ I'm not a Colby fan. I'm just trying to eliminate fanboy rhetoric from the UFC fanbase. Saying he got shutdown is something a guy who saw the end of the fight in a Facebook clip would say. He provided us with one of the best and closest fights in UFC history. When someone gets shutdown it removes the possibility of a rematch and both fighters acknowledge that the other is better and they move on. There is no rematch the people want more than Colby vs. Usman 2 including Dana White himself. We want it more than McGregor vs. Poirier 3.
