  • That lizard is a blue tongued skink, the blue tongue refelects light in a way that acts like a mirror to birds and scares them away, thats why it was sticking its tongue out at them, it was trying to scare them away. Also, blue tongue skinks are actually pretty common pets, and are pretty cute, they also give live birth, and arent the brightest, they're omnivorous, and they basically eat anything they can get their useless claws on.
