Tbh, if you can seperate the two 'realities' and still function here, while being healthy about 'interactions with your DR', it's chill. Whatever helps you function, as long as you're not harming others or yourself in the process. If going off to Naruto Land in your dreams to kiss Sasuke makes you happy, vibe, man. Just don't get carried away and try to full-on escape there. You're a tourist to your DR, not a refuge of your CR trying to move in permanently to your DR. Heck, even I do it on rare occasions, to influence my dreams, as it's one of the few times my Aphantasia kind of bugs off if I do it right. It's nice to feel like I just get to vibe and interact with my favorite worlds like that, feeling like it's real. And while I don't exactly doubt the multiverse theory stuff, I don't think your dreams are a portal to other realities, even if all you've done in said dream could have happened in another universe technically speaking. They're just neat pictures your mind makes while bored or sorting things into boxes, hah. Tl;dr, I agree. Manip your dreams, parallel universe thought is neat, but don't actually think you *went* there. Keep your head straight ^^'

So many “reality shifters” Will claim that you can tell it’s not a dream because you can truly use your five senses, but this is entirely possible in dreams (I know from experience). Who are you to tell somebody that they’re wrong when you offer NO proof to your claim? I hear the same responses every time I ask for proof of reality shifting: there’s a cia document (if you actually bothered to read it you would know this is not evidence), personal experiences (which cannot be verified are not dreams), and the fact that the practice has been around for centuries (which isn’t proof, just shows that the BELIEF has been around for a while).
As a Lucid dreamer, I've touched this topic sometimes, and I can say that Reality Shifting is literally Dreaming, just in a creative way.

I was watching this video after just waking up. My mom called me so I got up pretty fast, I had a head rush and after taking a step or two, I fell down, flat on my face, breaking both of my front incisors in half. That happened 2 years ago. I passed out for like 5 seconds and came back thinking I had been lying there for an hour. What I was told was that my parents heard a loud thud and went to investigate, finding me flat on the hard tile floor with a chipped piece of my tooth lying beside me.
I used to be friends with this girl who genuinely believed that shifting realities was real and when she saw this video she acted as if her whole family was killed💀

@@Helloiamraymond From how I see it, it’ll continue on even you technically “aren’t there” it would still be an existent reality (your dr) where another conscious version of yourself is existing and living life regularly there too. I say this because going to a DR isn’t creating a new reality, it’s going to a preexisting one that fits your desires, so there’s always been a version of yourself living there. (Im just going off info Ive gotten on this, im not sure exactly how accurate it is)

I’m a bit late and I know people say that it does no harm but I don’t think that. My friend believes in reality shifting and she does no school work because she thinks that she can just go into another reality. She believes there are no consequences to her actions, so she just says and does whatever she wants. Once she grows out of this phase I believe she will regret everything.

Revisiting this after a couple years, reminds me of us kids who seriously hoped that our futures would be less abusive than the present that we had. One thing to keep in mind is that some people in this community genuinely do have a mental disorder known as Maladaptive Daydreaming. When people claim they’re doing methods that don’t put them to sleep, it can sometimes be considered maladaptive daydreaming. I know some people who have this disorder and that genuinely have had “interactions” with fictional characters because of this disorder. Also, don’t get me started on how delusional this community is. They blur the line between fiction and reality so much that they are delusional and genuinely believe that their “desired reality” is a real thing. I get that there may be parallel universes, but I do not understand how they could include fictional sources being *real*. It’s a ridiculous premise. Another note, related to my first tangent; I think before we truly do judge these people, take into account a couple of factors: their age and their disorders/home life. For example, people with DID/OSDD often daydream of escaping their childhood traumas, which often develop into non-human alters or introjects (alters based on fictional/factual sources outside of their brain). Another example could be a child who is deeply attached to fictional stories. Third example could be someone with psychosis who already struggles with the line between fiction and reality. All of these people have something about them that makes them all the more prone to becoming victim to these communities with their manipulative tactics to convince you that you can join a fictional world, you just aren’t trying hard enough.

I’m bored so I’m sharing my thoughts lol. So I mainly believe it because there is such a large community and there have been legit government documents on it 💀. Also everything I say is going to be what I believe so idrc what anyone else thinks tbh. Ima just answer his questions cause y not. So he asked what happens to the other you when you shift. When it comes to the multi verse there are infinite universes so there is the universe where all the choices you would have made are the same that that “other you” would have made so when your shifting your simply becoming aware of that life your not taking over because your the same person now you are just aware of what you in the other universe is doing. So when you shift your not actually changing anything in the universe since it was going to happen anyway, since you shifted you just get to experience what was going to happen. Same thing if someone shifted here, they would pretty much just be experiencing the same life as me my choices are still mine and they’d be making the same choices, now they are just experiencing my life, not changing anything. (THE CLONE SHIT IS NOT REALLLLL ‼‼‼‼ BAD :(() I believe when you shift this universe keeps going without you (your not god the universe won’t stop for you) so you kinda leave a “clone” ig? But it’s not idk it’s weird. Like you are you but you idk bro idk how to explain it in my head istg. But when you shift back in MY PERSONAL OPINION I think you shift back to a universe that is the exact same as ours just created however long you’ve been gone after ours was. Some shifting TikTokers do it for clout or wtv but a lot are actually trying to help so idk what to tell u. Also there’s a lot more scientific stuff (documents and “research”) than you’d think. A large part of shifting is the community I’ve made a lot of friends because of it and scripting is really fun that’s part of why I do it, for the community. Some shifting TikTokers do it for clout or wtv but a lot are actually trying to help so idk what to tell u. Also there’s a lot more scientific stuff (documents and “research”) than you’d think. Anyways that’s the end of my spiel it was a lot, read it or don’t it’s just my opinion based on what I believe. I do have one last point to make though. A large part of shifting is the community I’ve made a lot of friends because of it and scripting is really fun that’s part of why I do it, for the community. I hate how he focuses on a lot of the “bad” stuff rather than talk about the good as well (I wanted a counter argument that was better than “but I could do magic”) that’s it pretty much I don’t really know why he was so pressed that kids want to be kids but yk believe what you want to believe it’s not my place to tell you otherwise (also if anyone actually reads this marry me lmao)

Reality shifting deserves that name. As a shifter myself, I can confidently say it does feel that real and you can do anything you want with it. Some people are just not ready to realize that what they've been told their entire lives might not actually be true.

It’s not, I have had MDD (Maladaptive daydreaming disorder) since I was 5 and I can tell you it isn’t. (I didn’t gain it from shifting, just from trauma) Maladaptive daydreaming is when you daydream/fantasize about things to an excessive amount which it becomes unhealthy and harming to your mental health and takes a toll on your daily and social life. Reality shifting is becoming aware of your consciousness in another reality. They are both two separate things and for you to diagnose an entire group of people without knowing what MDD actually is, and when you haven’t experienced how it actually feels to live with MDD is weird af and disrespectful to the people who actually have to live with it.

But in this reality my grandma has a brother which she never had in my previous reality and when I found out I was panicking like crazy and was extremely confused but I realized I shifted and that's why it happened, I mean pretty insignificant but it still proves that shifting is real no matter what we do

Then i'll let you say if you think this is bizzare or not. I daydream like every single day, most often during the night (i take time to sleep so i have to not get too bored). Because of that regularity, my imaginary visualisation got to a pretty good point, i can see quick animation with a lot of detail, a bit like in an anime. So i often imagine some scene, fight or other focused on anime. I started like 8 year ago when i was like 10, so i created a character at this time because why not. I "used" this character to be part of this alternate-life, scenario. So now the story of that imaginary world is really long, but i don't know. I never used that as an escapism, the prove is that i never imagine this world and all when i'm not in the mood, sad or not happy enough, just when i'm good. Without context people could say that this is bad and that i'm trying to escape a 'not good enough life' but i'm pretty good at school so nope, same for family, girlfriend and all. I do have anxiety about always thinking the 'worst case scenario' when something important is coming. But i'm not conviced if this is linked or not. Sorry to tell my life and for the english, i'm french and just did the discuss. This alternate sort of reality in my head just had pretty positive effect on me, a way better imaginary visualisation that help at anytime, way more confidence, and some others. That's all i think but i don't think it's that bad, i'm not comparing myself to shifter, i know what is real and what is not, my brain never got in the trap, and i don't think it will.
