  • Let's all take a moment to pay our respects to the late Russell "Texas" Bentley, who died in Donetsk recently. He was a man who fought for what he believed in and who believed in Novorossiya and the Russian Federation. He loved the people of the Donbas and he left his mark on the people and region through his work, strength of character, and charitable acts. He shall not be forgotten and his death shall be avenged. RIP Texas!

    • It's a joke. They don't have anywhere they can source more shells from and they are still several months away from delivery of the million shells they were supposed to have delivered before the end of 2023 from the last aid package. They don't have enough money to buy a large amount of Patriot systems. They don't have any real options for other air defense systems either. They have few options on MBT and IFV. ATGMs are backlogged in production and only older systems are available. They have no ability to acquire the systems and shells they need to make an impact. And this makes no impact on the manpower shortage they face and the shortage of infantry to man the defensive lines.

  • Expectations that the U.S. will be able to resolve artillery shell and air defense missile shortages by throwing more money at the problem is not realistic at all and we found this out two years ago with news of the real rates of U.S. artillery, ammunition and missile production. The U.S. defense production system is not oriented to high volumes of lower value items, but low volumes of high-cost units along with a lifetime of maintenance and logistics support with upgrades. The U.S. aside, Europe is in no financial position economically to deal with the Ukrainian crisis over the long term either. They’ve got their own problems now as a result of this crisis and try to come back economically and politically and regain the quality of life that they had before. But right now, Europe’s in a recession. They’ve cut off their energy sources. And it’s going to take a long time and a lot of capital to regain some semblance of that. What they had before they will not be able to replicate on any near-term basis. Europe has got its problems, and the U.S. has got its problems, and they are trying to resuscitate a dead dog (Zelensky regime.)

    • The US is not ramping up weapons production and Germany was destroyed by the US sanctions, the gas line attack and the exorbitant LNG prices imposed and it is in no position to ramp up production even if it wanted to. But the US does not want that it wants to replace German made weapons by US made weapons paid for Europeans taking out US loans ... this is more a war on Europe economically than it is a war on Russia. The US actually realized some of its war aims, it weakened Europe and took it out of the competition and forced it to buy US goods which will boost the US economy as Europe fades further. Maybe they can do the same with Japan on the other side of the world if a Taiwan conflict ensues.

    • A change in presidents won't make any significant change in foreign policy with Ukraine. That's a fantasy but some do like to deceive their selves and act like this is a reality. Talk is cheap and the Trump administration kept the weapons and aid flowing to Ukraine while trying desperately to get NATO whipped into shape and honoring it's obligations for this very war. Trump has changed his position on Ukraine in the last few days and it will not matter once he is in office and can do as he pleases. Presidents are just figureheads playing a role and nothing more. They just sell people on the idea that there is a choice and that this choice gives us options we don't actually have. The real power is behind the scenes with the elite and in the hands of those who run the state itself. The "establishment", or the "deep state" have continuity in governance that runs uninterrupted for decades and decades. They are tiring of this war but they are still trying to save face and keep it going as long as possible.

  • Before the 2023 offensive from Ukraine, a Russian commander from Kherson direction said, that after this offensive the Ukrainians will attack in 2025 again and after that it's Russian victory. If we look at the current situation, Russia is creating more and more of buffer zone for that offensive. They knew the war is going to be quite long and at last unsustainable for Ukraine and west.

Look into the formation of American English and the Webster's dictionary for a good background guide to how Ukrainization has been pursued by the US handlers. It mirrors much of the things the colonies did to separate themselves from Britain after the founding of the USA. Funny spellings or pronunciations became a way of differentiating between the two nations just like in Ukraine. Look at Odessa/Odesa for example. How does the Ukrainian phonetic spelling in English even make sense? It is ridiculous and doesn't even make the same sound. 😂😂😂

  • It seems that the slow & scorched earth policy of Mil conquest by RU plays into Western hands: 1. The West gets to modernize its arms and rotate its inventory. Albeit at the bigger price of dangerous national debts. 2. RU pays a military, human, financial and political price, and ends up destroying "its" conquered towns as pure rubble and relocated population. They get zaro useful infrastructure, but only fields and costs for 20-30 years to rebuild. 3. Meanwhile, the West -- more accurately, Western Vulture Capitalists still get the bulk of Ukraine for pennies on the dollar. As intended. IOW, as people in/from UA suffer and Weetern tax payers carry the burden of the ever growing burden of Interest on the national debt (Debt/GDP ratio), billionaires profit and new millionaires are created. Is Casino Capitalism great, or what? 😅

    • The best farmland and a high proportion of Ukrainian energy and mineral resources are in the Donbass. Reportedly over $1 trillion in value. Russia has been increasing both it's armed forces and MIC, they have also been investing in the development of modern factories and the production of many goods within the country as they pivot away from the west to other trading partners. The "political price" they pay is only with the US/G7 and aligned states, and as many other countries are realising being locked into financial systems there exposes them to the risk of sanctions whenever they take decisions in their own national interests that displease that group. The world is changing, Russia, China and India and the extended BRICS group are looking to trade and engage with each other on their own terms.

    • The famous "black earth" of Ukraine is not the same as the earth or soil in other areas. It is fine and several meters deep which when wet forms a soft quagmire somewhat like a swamp that can even swallow whole vehicles at times. The constant traffic of heavy military vehicles is the real problem because it creates enormous ruts and bogs down the vehicles. In the summer it turns to dark dust that gets all over everything as vehicles churn it up and send it airborne. In the winter it freezes solid around bogged down vehicles freezing them in place for months until it thaws like the Alaskan Wilderness does to US military vehicles and equipment. That soil is what makes the region one of the most fertile areas on planet earth and it is nothing like the soil in Belgium or Western Europe.
