The other two were comtacting wild animals who had grown up in the wild. Irwin worked in a team. His death was unpredictable. Treadwell wasn't surrounded by colleagues. He went with his untrained girlfriend, both had no bear spray or weapon. Treadwell wasn't attacked by "his" wild bears, but by a strange bear that crossed the others' territory. Three totally different cases you can't compare. Dean's babies love him. They have a very close bond none of the others had. Plus he is always accompanied by the cameraman.

They can turn on you with a blink of a eye if you don’t know how to act around them and know how to read their body language.     • ​@TarniAyres Actually, there are PSA's for kids about interacting with stray dogs pretty commonly. They do tell you to stay back and not approach strange dogs you don't know. In addition, even domesticated animals can be unpredictable to humans. We aren't fluent in all languages of all animals, and even ones we've been with for eons can have issues that trigger insanely irrational behavior, as is the same with humans. So, yes, they do say that about any animals, but especially ones you don't know. Just because an animals I'd conditioned doesn't mean it's changed at its core.

    • I was actually surprised by a pair at a wildlife sanctuary in Florida. They were quite affectionate and loving .....right up to the time they brought out food feeding time. Then they were wild. But these weren't pets raised to be pets from birth either.

    • Hyenas are actually very gentle and caring animals. Nature shows only show their scavenger side. They don’t show how the moms care for the young or how the males back each other up and don’t usually have hierarchies like lions do. They weed out the weak ones but there isn’t a leader it’s a pack, like wolves. I have also heard ( not certain so don’t quote me) they are extremely friendly towards humans , like Orcas and Dolphins are
