Tekken 3 1997 Secrets, codes, unlockable
Tekken 3 has some Unlockable hidden secrets which it need some method to discover them
TimeCodes:
00:00 Intro
0:22 Tekken Ball Mode : Beat the game with all non-hidden game characters
Theater Mode : Beat the game in arcade mode with all non-hidden characters
3:01 Unlocking GON :
Get a high score on Survival mode, then enter the following as your name: GON
2nd method :
After unlocked Tekken Ball Mode, at the very first playing use King to make GON spawn
Or play Arcade Mode and win it with 5% health left in 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th round and GON and
Dr B may appear
6:25 Unlocking Dr. Boskonovitch :
Collect the bronze, silver and gold keys in Tekken Force by completing it
three times. Then play through it one more time. After you beat the boss of the last stage, you
will be taken to an underground cave and defeat Dr. B
8:59 Unlocking Tiger :
To play as the tiger, beat the game with 17 different characters, including Eddy Gordo. Once
this is done, highlight Eddy Gordo on the character selection screen and press START.
9:38 Play as Panda :
Highlight Kuma and press o or x
10:02 Alternate Costumes :
Anna's Zebra Skin costume Play with Anna 25 times in a row, then select her by pressing
Start
Law with Iconic Yellow Bruce Lee jump suit, Select Law by pressing start
Xiaoyu's School Uniform Play as Xiaoyu 50 times, then select her by pressing Start
Jin's School Uniform Play as Jin 50 times, then select him by pressing Start
11:46 School Background
First you must have unlocked Jin or Xiaoyu's school uniforms. Once you've done that select
a two-player game and choose Jin or Xiaoyu by pressing Triangle before your opponent
selects their player. You'll then get to fight in a school yard background.
12:30 Jack's Tank Top Play as Jack 10 times, then select him by pressing Start
12:54 Unlock Gun Jack's Full Ending :
Beat Arcade Mode twice with Gun Jack, then go to Theater Mode to see his Full Ending
13:52 Winning Pose Animation
After winning a round and you see the replay showing, pressing each button will result in a
different victory animation.
This also works when the opponent wins.
Alternate winning pose After you defeat your opponent, press LK + RK.
12:37 MokuJin Sound Like a Wooden Block
On MokuJin's Pic, hold DOWN until the match begins.
15:22 Instant Replays in Practice Mode
From the main screen enter Practice Mode. Choose your characters, and start a 1P Freestyle
game. When the 1P Freestyle menu pops up (before the fight begins) press L1, L2, R1, R2,
and Circle all at the same time. Start the battle as normal, and at the bottom of the screen
will be the commands, involving Select.
Tekken and Tekken 2 Videos
While in Theatre mode if you have save data from Tekken or Tekken 2 on your memory card you can view any unlocked FMVs from either game.

@@alolaugh6624 right??!?! The only one that I learned recently well recent enough I just had a thought when I was like at home and Tekken 3 popped up in my head. I was like.... "Who was the other slot that we never unlocked... We unlocked everyone but who's that?" I looked at it on KZhead and it was dr. B and I was like "WAIT HES IN THE GAME HERE HE WAS IN YOSHIS AND ANNAS ENDING!" I then found that you gotta like beat Tekken force mode the whole thing like three times or something I dunno. I already forgot lol even after watching this, but I did that IT WAS TOUGH but I finally unlocked him. I think imma whip out the manual for the game and see if it says anything in it I bet it was in there all this time. I probably never knew because I didn't have it growing up but now I do.
Yeah true wow, tekken force mode was amazing yes I think you did have the beat it three times or something and each time you get a key, like a bronze silver and gold key or something

@@Disconnect350 we always did _something_ then he just popped up. We noticed one day when we went left or right too much on the character screen then we saw him just there. And when he didn't pop up we'd do something else then that was it lol. Tho when I wanted to unlock him then it became difficult then which was hysterical lol. I got it then because I finally had the memory card, I transferred that to my PS3 now so I can actually play It there too now.
Gun Jack was the real MVP for shielding his creator from that blast.
There was another way to unlock Dr. B. You had to play 100 or 200 matches in versus (you had to have a memory card and autosave on). We didnt know that when we were kids, we just played VS mode for years until he casually unlocked and we lost our shit
Gon and Doctor B can be unlocked first, last anytime. But the others have to be unlocked in order Kuma-True Ogre.
Didn't know about the secret ending for Gun Jack or the School stage, great stuff.

One thing i've seen always worked to me to unlock Dr. B. was playing a 2 players Tekken Ball Gon vs Tiger. Don't remember who had to win, and who had to be Player 1. But i remember it always worked. First time i thought was just a casuality, but when my cousin asked me how to do and he did exactly that, he told me it worked. So i suppose it was a method!
You can also unlock Gon using Heihachi at the first round of Tekken Ball Mode
If you go to the options and have the key configuration selected and then press L2+R2+select all the red Hitsparks will turn green, but if you do the same but press start instead of select they will turn red again. You can also unlock all characters by playing a certain amount of matches, but I think that number goes up to 400 for some characters.
There was not 400 You should have done certain stuff but you somehow unlocked them😂
I can't believe I actually didn't know about most of these. Played allot of Tekken3 , but never knew about gon, doctor or disco eddie.

I loved this game, just got it the other day again. I think I played it for years when I was a kid, just this week finished everything in a few hours. The only thing I didn't know about was the Mokujin block noise! Mad!

Its crazy that I unlocked Tekken Ball, Gon, and Dr. Bosconovicth without ever owning a memory card back in the day.
Wow, I've played Tekken 3 since PS days and I never knew the School backyard was a stage in this game! (it later appeared in Tekken Tag)
I pretty much got everything except school background. I was around 8-11 and used to do it in one day before getting memory card for PS1. Honestly, I will remember Tekken 3 till the day I die, it made my childhood amazing.
Good old Tekken 3 I remember playing it with more than 20 ppls at the same time at my GrandMother's house

There's an alternative too by holding both kick or LK+RK buttons but I don't know for who, but in Tekken 5 it works on Jin

nice video. But I think that the ball mode is unlocked once you complete your first arcade game with just one character. You must complete it with all non hidden for the theatrical mode! Can I ask you what emulator do you use and what are the settings? Is it Duckstation? I use it but my graphics are not that sharp and I use enchancements but still not that good
Duckstation, with x5 Native for 1080p resolution, aspect ratio 16:9, and for texture I'm using bilinear, but you can use nearest-neighbor to preserve the pixelated graphic.
I'm glad I discovered all of them as a 8 yo kid (apart from mokujin sound thing), what an incredible game. That's so cool for games to implement such things, there was no internet to check this online. Me and my friends played a lot and we just thought those empty character spaces are for next releases of the game (Tekken 4 etc. xD) yes, we were kids. But Imagine playing a game for few months with friends (mostly "vs. mode") and then discover that you can unlock new character :O - we were stuck to the PS1 for weeks to unlock every character in the game and try them out for the first time, check all moves etc. what an experience! I hate how people play games nowadays... - Install the game - Check the best build - Check what are the money/exp glitches - Check how to get OP in minutes - Finish the game. what's the point? Tekken 3 taught me to enjoy the game until I finish it all by myself, then I search some "secrets" or "tricks" online to enjoy the game for a little while more :) Blessings to everybody who plays games in the same way.

What a joke of a final boss😂I barely knew what I was doing the first time I played Tekken 3 and I dont think I ever lost to him. even on hard difficulty XDD. Unlike playing against Kazuya in Tekken 2 who gave me nightmares with his creepy loading screens and sad but beautifully epic music lol. I knew I was gonna get my ass whupped when I faced him💀

You don't show the Yoshimitsu's combo when he duplicate himself in MANY Yoshimistu. This begin with the grab where he's multiplicate in two

Secrets? Those are unlockables! Nothing secret about Theater Mode or Tekken Ball. By that logic all ather characters like Kuma, Heihachi, etc. are "secrets" too... 🤨
You don't need to use King in Tekken Ball to unlock Gon, anyone will work. You just have to beat the mode. 😂

Simple by just beating the game several times, but some characters have short cut methods to unlock it just like in the video
