1 teaspoon of salt,
1.5 cups of milk (300ml),
1 cup of flour (120g),
1 tablespoon of butter,
Scallion.

Yorkshire pudding. But in the UK we use just hot oil or fat, no paper. Very versatile, plain or with addition of grated cheese or herbs. Poured over sausages for Toad in the hole with gravy. Poured thinly over hot frypan for sweet or savoury pancakes.

It is a big Yorkshire pudding, the only thing that is different we don’t put melted butter into it . Bet it’s very tasty, when we make the batter it is flour, eggs , milk and seasoning ( salt and pepper ) put to one side, switch on oven on high put lard , beef dripping , or oil in a tin small plate what can go in the oven the one she is using is fine. Pending on size tin you are using I would put 1 tablespoon of oil to the tin and place in the oven till it is smocking, then put batter mix in the oil and quickly put in the oven, they or it should rise big. Delicious with cooked beef, mashed potatoes, vegetables, they go with all meat. God bless and hope you will give them a go .

In the UK we call that a 'Yorkshire Pudding' and we serve it with Roast beef, separately cooked vegetables of your choice, and roast (or mashed) potatoes. Chopped onions would usually be added to the thick beefy gravy that would accompany it. It's a traditional Sunday lunch here, both in restaurants and the home. Yummy! 💖

This is like Yorkshire muffins batter, the one which they spread on te baking sheet set under a roast to catch fat drippings 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Very yummy. They serve it with mint sauce. 🍃
Perfect for many occasions! I melt 120 gr of butter in the baking dish and then pour in the mixture...tastes and smells better!
That's the same recipe that I use to make Yorkshire Pudding and even English Pancakes.
That looks wonderful! I'd replace the cream cheese with sour cream, though. But that's just me, don't care for cream cheese. That music is awesome. I'm from Springfield, Missouri, USA, btw. 🙋🏼♀️

I tried to make this from memory last night in my cast iron skillet on low heat with a lid. I forgot about the salt. I topped it with cheese and sausage, without cream cheese. One egg, 1/3 cup flour, 1/2 cup milk and 1 tablespoon butter. Even at that, I couldn't eat the whole thing, so my wife and I had some the next morning. We both LOVED it.

Delicious! I didn’t have cream cheese or scallions so I used provolone and mozzarella cheese and used pesto sauce. I will be making this again
