  • I'll second on the Op1 8k. With the new firmware in GX mode the switches are insanely fast, beyond anything I have ever tried. Coating is top notch as well. Obviously the cord everybody is hung up on the cord. Because Endgame Gear did it right with the 20 degree upright placement of the mouse cable. Like me if you have 2 monitor setup, my second monitor is angled in such its towards the top and just past the mouse pad. I purchased a pulsar bungie and installed it underneath the left hand side of the frame from the second monitor. Now i have enough slack from the cable yet the cable never touches the actual mouse pad, WIRERDLESS.

    • clicks are worst on the we the 8k is the best on the op1 8k because it is wired the weight is lower but the shape is the exact same

      @franckbringand8706@franckbringand8706Ай бұрын
    • You can modify and change switches on the 8k for preferred clicks. And the 8ks performance is insane. Like noticebly faster and smoother if you can get high framerates. The latency is almost nonexistent. Literally lower than milliseconds. If you really dig the shape I think its worth the upgrade.

  • im still over here maining modded mz1 wireless down to 57g and contemplating getting smaller battery but not sure yet. still looking for something very similar in size specifically how narrow it is. considering op1we or pulsar x2h. probably leaning on op1we because both my x2mini v1 and x2 transparent edition both have one or two minor issues so questioning on the quality of pulsar for a while now. x2mini side flex under the side buttons and x2 transparent ed scrollwheel squeeeeek if anyones wondering. by no means mz1 has good quality either i mean it flexes like crazy more so after modding but so far its the only one that fits like a glove so.

  • I love the comment regarding buying a new mouse and expecting an increase in performance. Mice will not generally translate to a better aim, however, they might make you more comfortable and cramp less, and, providing you find one that suits your grip, give you more consistency.

    • I disagree. Ive gone from theheavy Logitech G502 X (115g) to the 40g Sora V2 and the weight difference has meant much less resistance to movement and allowed me much greater accuracy but it may depend on the dpi setting you use and how much movement is required with your mouse style. I use 1400dpi.

  • i still use my finalmouse ultralight 2 with the original grips since 2019. Build quality on it is the most questionable out of any mouse I've ever tried but there's nothing like it when it comes to shape and weight.

  • One reviewer said Sora v2 USB C isnt universal and only works on that mouse, is that true cuz no one talks about it. Also that the battery life is awful lasting like 12hrs on competitive mode. when other wireless mice last like 50hrs.

  • I own the Sora V2 in white with blue accents. I love the look and feel of this mouse, its so incredibly light at 40 grams and though its not textured like an egg, I feel like I'm picking up an egg shell or perhaps the feel of a ping pong ball. I do like the shape and the clicks are so easy compared to my Logitech G502 X plus with it being so light, baring in mind I'm using 1400dpi, I barely move my wrist and my arm only for Very large movements. The majority of my movements are with my fingers in a relaxed claw grip and these moments are much easier and more precise because of its light weight and resistance moving and stopping. Btw when I first started using this mouse, I found the shape slightly uncomfortable but with more use, my hand has quickly become used to it. Its not all rosy for the Sora V2, I am Not happy that it doesn't come with a 4K dongle given the previous latest mouse ran at 4k. I had wanted to run the mouse at 2K polling rate but, No this is only a 1,000Hz polling rate mouse. I was pleased to read before ordering that it connects via USBC thinking I can easily charge it with the same cable I charge my Android phone and LG mouse but NO it comes with a BLOODY PROPRIETARY TINY SLOT to restrict the USB C cable to their own inconvenient USB to USB C cable. Not happy Jan. Lastly two wishes outside what I've already mentioned, in a Sora V3 I would correct the above but I would also make the scroll wheel like the Logitect G502 X scroll wheel where it has at a push of a small button behind the scroll wheel have a stepped or infinite scroll scroll wheel. Its a feature I constantly use when not gaming. Also include a small sniper button like on the 502 X as I use it while gaming for Discord voice chat. Its far more convenient than any on keyboard button and I use thetwo side buttons and scroll wheel while gaming already. Lastly, the battery in the Sora V2 isn't great so I get around this by almost only using the Sora for gaming and turning it off and using my Logitech. This would be a non issue if they hadn't used a narrow socket for plugging in the USB C as I could easily plug it in. One more note on the online software, that in itself is great but compared with the Logitech G Hub, it ugly and far from user friendly. It doesn't even come up with info when you scroll over options such as System mode, LOD, Motion Sync What the hell do they do?? I also didn't realise till a friend explained to me that you could highlight and chand the dpi number, I had been switching between Stages 1 2 3 4 finding I could find a comfortable dpi for what I'm used to as it had the options of 400 800 1,600 3,200 and for me 1,400-1,500dpi is what works best for how I use my mouse btw I settled on 1,400 but this wasn't obvious that I could change it as I was used to Logitech G Hub where it not only has clear explanations, you have the option to select the exact rate on a horizontal sliding bar and then select the stepped profile dpi too. Its very intuitive and unlike the Sora V2 software.

The only consideration I would mention is that when using a full claw grip you seem to need to release your thumb from the front side of the mouse in order to press the rear side button but i suspect that's a standard issue of that particular grip. Bare in mind, i have average size male hands, not the really large hands of some of the reviewers.

It uses the same plastic riveted top shell with a ultra mid shape and grindy buttons that Razer says is due to the design. Besides an amazing sensor that mouse is going to be C tier with an S+ sensor for 170$ usd.

And i will buy it for $120 dollars after 3 months when it will be on sale in my home country. 81 gram and 53 gram are two different things. And I think Razer did a smart move by releasing the hyperspeed model earlier. In this way they can iron out most of the QC issues. I think of the hyperspeed as an experimental release.

  • Truly, this is the golden age for PC mice, at least for FPS. While I completely understand the drive towards minimalist mice, unfortunately, and somewhat surprisingly, the smaller-and-lightweight trend hasn't reached multi-button mice better suited to other games. I play many games where having a few more buttons than the standard five is extremely useful. And while size and weight isn't a performance factor for games like these, I dislike using heavy, bulky mice. But they're the only game in town if you want more buttons. Sad. And an opportunity for a company wanting to set itself apart from the now very crowded mouse space.

    • @@Defury8285 I'm sure many agree with you. But that ignores that many PC games aren't optimized for controllers, or clearly benefit from the speed and precision of a mouse, if only for more efficient play rather than higher scores. I own an Xbox controller but no consoles, so I don't have the thousands of hours of muscle memory. Finally, 6 of the top 10 selling gaming mice on Amazon are multi-button units. Sure, these largely represent more "casual" users, but clearly in this sizable population there are plenty who would appreciate a small/mid-size lighter weight mouse. Even for productivity (PC work vs. gaming), I vastly prefer lighter mice.
