Answer: The object, dubbed GPM J1839−10, released radio waves every 22 minutes. The bursts of energy lasted up to five minutes. Astronomers believe it could be a magnetar, or a rare type of star with extremely strong magnetic fields that is capable of releasing powerful, energetic bursts. That's it.
😂👍 Thanks, now I don't need to watch this only 0:19 in to the video
Thanks you!!! ❤❤❤
That's the latest theory. Who knows what they'll decide next. But don't you just love hour-long documentaries which tell you 289 theories but don't answer what they claim to be out the outset?
That is what men in black could say, i don't believe you

0:15 "some scientists believe it may be coming from a civilization we haven´t met yet." Interesting. I have a question though, which or what civilization HAVE we met yet?
I said the same thing to myself. As far as we the public know we haven't met any

They apparently built the great pyramids in Egypt according to "History" Channel 😂 And they still walk a among us in disguise 😉
This is what is going to get me, they say they do not know where the signal is coming from but they can tell you how old it is.
or maybe like observation of quantum phenomena we could know how old it is but not know where it comes from
It was simply detected but, it could have been happening before.
They can tell from the spectrum, how red shifted it is ( or the spectrums of its surrounding stars ), which tells us its speed away from us - and thereby indirectly how far away it is or WAS rather - at the time these mysteriois signals were beamed towards us.
we could easily tell where its coming from by putting up a net of radios in orbit in multiple layers, then see which ones in each layer get the signal first. After that you can map out a beam and plot the exact degree the signal is hitting earth from
Something they shot into a black hole probably popped out somewhere else some other time and they're now freaking out inside a little room deep inside the pentagons layers hahaha
So why is NASA credited with finding the signal when it was a high school student from Australia who found the signal? Can we change the title to reflect the truth or is that too much to ask?
People on Earth can't even work a record player
It's almost always a star
yes sound like a pulsar or a magnetar, lol typed this before watching whole video

The signals are coming from a certain type of Pulsars that have a wobble included in their rotations. That is why the "lens" comes and goes at regular intervals.
Precisely what I was thinking, I've played enough Elite Dangerous 😂
How about asking Seti telescope to focus on this 22min.pulse.
What caught my attention is the disappearance of the signal and then it's return. Did something block the signal from Earth during that period - another planet crossing the path or more logical did the signal move behind a sun and it blocked the signal. Will be interested if that occurs again. If it does it could be from a planet that travels around a sun!
Deathstar
This theory would be sound as long as the breaks in the radio signal are the same time every 24 hours
Or longer
Probably a black hole entering our solar system - they "walk" among us 😳
Voyaager 1 the only piece of electronics from the 70's that continues to work all these years later with zero maintenance.
That tells you that humans have the technology/space craft that can travel decades in space and functions brilliantly.

Earth's first message for Intelligent life was sent to globular cluster m13 no/no Rawastrodatal 40 years ago on November 16th 1974. Earth beamed a message from Puerto Rico where the message went flying through the galaxy at the speed of light ever since? Just maybe we are now getting a message back as the same recording similar to ours or totally different? NASA has also sent other messages in space that we don't know about? The signals we might be getting might or could be echoes traveling in time and space like Albert Einstein predicted?
We sent a message and the message back is, _"New telescope. Who dis?"_
That sounds like a warning signal from someone or something in distress, repeating, relatively quickly, stern tone, and repeating in a burst like most SOS signals. What else could it be?
Maybe a warning that someone’s heading this way 🤔
Carl Sagan ( NASA ) wrote the book Connact the signal in the film behaved identity.
Okay now we are on the subject of stars , Space telescope's, new planets in different galaxies, and the James Web Telescope? Now blackholes space gas ? What if by some strange reasons the Solar Eclipse that happens by the Moon wasn't very accurate and it was caused by something else? It's just a Hypothetical question ❓
It was a real eclipse that’s been known about for many years before like since 2017. If you line up the moon’s position and phases it matches the eclipse so it would have to be real.
Honestly if its another civilization sound like a distress beacon

Perhaps we need to look pale blue dots in space?
i think answer is in the signal content. if it changes randomly means its mostlikely natural as natural reflections decay ower time ie burning reactor will slow down signal slightly.. if it changes periodically and turns back to original that means its mostlikely data signal.. if it doesnt change at all.. its mostlikely repeating signal or a powerful natural signal that decay is not noticeable or is feed continously with new poser source ir things falling as they are consumed...
And what if wrong?
Well when you're wrong, you're wrong!!😮😢😢 😂😂😂❤❤

Well, kinda! Quasars can cause this. There are a whole bunch of factors that would have to be checked. Double checked, and triple checked and that’s going to take time.
What about pulsar star that we don't know of idk??
Question Is that not what we do or did from day one, sending signals to star systems and then waiting for a reply? But the real question is, for how long did we send those signals to them?
Quasar or Neutron Star
Et can communicate without obvious signals especially inter dimensional being .We had spheres of light in our home for 3 nights one after the other .Call it orbs or spheres of translucent light in our rooms in a medium size apartment in front off our eyes ,6 of us.How SETI explains this?
Peter Gore Seer, What About Those Signals From Inerspace,Still Classified ?.
Sounds like a pulsar, pulsar blocked by other orbiting items
It’s probably just one of the voyagers communicating.
Can’t you tell a story without using stock images or stock videos?
Or a gravitational wave from a neutron star colliding with a black hole. I don't actually know, but that's what some astrophysicists have speculated.

So this signal is 15,000 light years away. So how long has it taken for the signal to reach earth as sound doesn't travel at the speed of light?
GeorgeSmith and LilMike, the presenter is 100% correct when he/it says that "Voyager has been traveling in interstellar space for 45 years". Voyager is and has been traveling inside of our galaxy hasn't it? Interstellar. Voyager has been traveling between stars hasn't it? Interstellar. For some reason, even the best of us seem to assume that interstellar somehow means "outside of everything" and just "floating free" ~ It does not. Next time you hear the word instead of thinking "far, far, far out", think "inter-galactic" instead. Hope this helps.
L❤ve the video well explained But I have to ask when you mentioned sauces which makes me think that it could be a 🎉🎉cheese sauce perhaps
Sounds to me like that signal is coming from a pulsating ßtar circling a black hole, the star must be close the the inner boundary of black hole. On side facing us signal gets to us, but on opposite side it gets disbursed, making those time cuts.
If its 15k ly away, how did seti reaxh it in less than a century?
Sometimes I think the whole light years info is a scam. Someone needs to investigate this, getting to Proxima Centauri in less time than 4LY, WE'VE ALL BEEN TOLD!
I thought they said it was the starlink satalites.
The was tracked Mainly from Arecibo .
nice 👍👍

Yeah
SETI still no contact??? What a shame. I just had a close encounter of the Third Kind a few years ago. SETI can not have contact in fifty years?????
just dont answer the Signal !!!!!!!
Sound is coming from planet SERPO which is forty light years away from earth. Bending space and time through a black hole takes a maned space craft from earth two hundred and seventy days to get to the planet SERPO with two Suns.
Id be willing to bet that one of these scientists couldn't tell me the chances of me receiving a message from a distant, ancient, advanced, itelligent civilization at the same time I'm hitting the lottery and traveling mach 10 on my unicycle!
return the signal to souurce but make a change to it..... If sent by intelligence they would be able to figure out the return signal, message intercepted......
We accidentally adding a slur. 😂
how did they know about that pulsar?
Is it the gibberish from Voyager’s TMU?
I was with our relatives sending messages from Voyager which NASA ignores.
pulsar nothing more -wake up - same signal - repeat

send a signal back.. like byob or something

How did the sound travel from space when there’s no sound in space?
You are confusing 2 different things.... sound and signal. Sound doesn't travel through space.
There is sound in space. Just not our sound, we are too small to make sound but you can hear say a black hole. It makes noise. We have recorded it, so it’s more so just an if your big enough and making a dent in space and time you will be heard
What?
@@Jigoat yes radio signals travel at almost the speed of light .. sound cant travel in space there is no vacum ... although i can hear sound of various pulsars in space they do not make noise as you think of it as noise... its a radio signal that generates pulses of radio signals that you have to add background noise to so our human ears can hear
Congratulations...... You discovered a Pulsar/
Just the Voyager that was sent back by who knows who, like in that lame movie, "The Signal", on Netflix.
