Do you realize a stock GTR takes 13 seconds LONGER than a LaFerrari to get from 0-300 kmh? ( 16 seconds v 29 seconds) . Of course it's highly modified, after 60 mph a stock GTR would be left for dead.

Guys the ferrari is in a whole different ballpark. You're talking a V12 (yes it weighs more) verses a 6 banger. The GTR gave it a run for its money, but I would bet anything that the GTR would be left in the dust in a mile race. But hey, $100k for a brand new GTR is a way better deal than a ferrari that costs well over a million. I rather have the GTR, buy a house, and put $750,000 in the bank hahaha

Why does everyone think of the 918 it is fast but it isn't one of the big three. The big three are all cars that came out at the 2013 Geneva motor show. They are 3. Ferrari LaFerrari, 2. Mclaren P1, and 1. Lamborghini Veneno. Nobody talks about the Veneno and that always makes me made it is the least powerful of the three but it has the highest top speed and pulls more lateral Gs. But by all means lets hear what everyone has to say about the Porsche.

It's actually 545 hp for the GTR and 789 for the laferrari but getting an extra 161 hp from the electric motor which basically adds up to 950hp

gotta say, that was a beautiful drag race, for once, I didn't actually care who won, they both sounded fucking gorgeous, what a difference a car manufacturer makes, epicness for Hyper and Super cars.. wouldn't say no to neither tbf, nice video DRAGINFO !!
This video had too many flaws in it to call it credible. 1. The video was crappy, and who ever was holding the camera needed a stabilizer to keep video looking a little more crisp. 2. This was an American style "Arm Drop" Drag Race that clearly the LaFerrari driver wasn't/isn't used to. (Reason why the LaFerrari couldn't get the jump he needed.) 3. There was no footage at the end that said who won. (We can all speculate the GTR won, because of it's launch, but......?) 4. There was no preview, no spec numbers, no driver info, no nothing. At the end of the day, the GT-R driver proved that he was excellent at reading when the, "Arm Drop" took place. However this video was more of "tease" than a conclusive proof of which car IS actually better in a straight line. DRAGINFO Fellas if you decide to do this again, please have a camera at the start as well as the finish line. I & many more of us car lovers out would love to see a better version of this race.

you can't under estimate the GT-R. It clearly won and is known to be ferarris without trying hard. They are up there in performance and the only reason why its only 100 grand is because its a Nissan. The price has little to do with performance as its top notch. I just saw a race a few weeks of a GT-R (v6) smoking a Ferrari spider (v10) in a drag race competition. It shocked many people. I can't tell you why the GT-R is so fast with only a v6 engine but there's something crazy under that hood thats helping that little v6 create so much power.

Just check real races like the DragTimes and GTBOARD, with AMS Aplha12 Nissan GT-R. Althought if you ask me what I prefer, of course I would choose a La Ferrari or a P1 or 918 or a Agera or a Veyron or a Zonda. Just because a SuperCar isn't just speed...
andy elliott Are you comparing a standard Nissan GT-R with a LaFerrari?! Compare it with a Ferrari 458! You have to compare de LaFerrari with a AMS Nissan GT-R Alpha9 or 12 for example. Which is 10% of a price from a LaFerrari, but in power they are at the same level.

Yes it is tune! And the Ferrari is tuned from factory. And in a track, the LaFerrari should win, but that is not in discussion here. The mile run, it depends on the GTR tunning we are referring to. Of course the stock GTR would not have a chance. If you ask me which one I prefer, the answer is obvious (LaFerrari). But we have to gave credit to these tuned GTR, because for the fraction of the money of a LaFerrari it can be a nightmare in a drag race.

The LaFerrari was never meant to be a drag car although in a few of these clips you can see the Ferrari pulling away pretty handily. The Ferrari is a Road course car. It would destroy the GTR on the track.

Obviously, this GTR isn't stock at all (500hp cars just can't keep up with 950hp lighter cars, even in a parallel world). It would be nice to know what mods have been made to this white gtr.

you guys know that these bad ass machines have 'launch control', so there is no such thing as bad driver. Anyway, LaFerrari's looks alone are worth the price difference between these two cars. I myself would prefer the GTR just because its in my price range, 60-100k for that kind of beast is not bad at all. To be honest if I was to put down the kind of money needed to buy a LaFerrari, I would rather get the F40, anyday.
The Aventador is just chilling like call me when some one worth racing shows up.

Lesson learned. Purchase an R35 GTR for 150,000 grand and spend another 50,000 something grand or so for MODs and you will be able to beat a 1.3 million dollar car.
and when you're stuck in traffic or doing the speed limit as you have to do 99 percent of the time, you're rolling around in a lackluster 200 grand plastic Nissan which does nothing for you and no one gives a second look to. no thanks, I'd rather be sitting in the ferrari. cars are meant to do more that just go fast,
+John De Luna You won't. It just means you won't lose by such a big distance. This is a GTR with 1000 hp in the video and it stll lost. You need 1200-1300 hp to have a chance because the GTR is 80% heavier and with a much higher aerodynamic drag.
I notice somthing when evrey time they make a race between any super car against GTR .. they cannot use stock GTR. besides the other cars are stock.
