He has always been the target of a lot of pressure and criticism for being handsome, wealthy, talented, famous, influential, and friendly. They didn't accept any flaw from him, he had to be perfect. People's behavior towards him was a mix of envy and lack of respect for everything he represented. Hi Benjamin, it's funny just as the World championships are being played, our team the germans have been manipulated and brainwashed for political purposes. And you can see it in their game. We, a group of older people, discussed about the old times and football in particular. We named those who had participated in the first european championship in 1972 and what artists they had been. And even as late as 2014, when Germany won the world cup, those players where magic and are still highly respected when invited to a round of discussion. Today all has to be about gender, political correctness and one sees the decline of great football playing. (and of course there is too much money involved today). Hope for future generations that one day they experience that what we have all these years!

Ronaldo got ball just few times and turned those moments into goals. That's what people call the real class. Great teams, great players in both teams, great stadium, great memories
Yes but who would you rather be now?
@@djstabilo100 ronaldo

Old Trafford gave Ronaldo a standing ovation when he came off, he couldn't believe it.
the first and third goals were spectacular.
Barthes, what a blunder
Beckhams inability to pass is clear here .
As a United fan, i must say i was lucky enough to witness this extraordinary game and a gem of a performance from the one and only " El Fenomeno ".. you simply know how great a player is when he gets a standing ovation from Old Trafford. Pure Class 💯
Getting Man U fans to put down their sandwiches is a real achievement
Total class from the fans for the magician that was Ronaldo9
@TheDaverobinson would be worse if you where scouse, you could never find your h/t rat snack if you set it down.
Too right mate. I have to be frank though these times I was disgusted with Man U fans, not too long ago when this was happening the fans and all England fans booed the living daylights out this man, was bloody disgusting
@@TheDaverobinson as much as id like to have a go at you for this comment, this is too bloody funny mate 🤣
Sir Alex Fergusson was blessed with a great squad. 👍 Legends
Jebus what a line up by both teams... good ol times
Sir Alex Ferguson was probably the best manager in the Premier League ever in my opinion.
What a Real Madrid team. Many legends in that line up.
they were big names, but this real madrid from 5 years ago led by CR7 are much stronger and they won everything
R9 was so much more talented than CR7
@@richardconte3837 Ha ha in what way? Ronaldo was a great player but in no way can be compared with Christiano Ronaldo. He's perhaps the best finisher in the world ever.
How good was Raúl - what a player
@@SurajInd89 oh well R9 is only the greatest number 9 in history of the game and if not for his knee injuries he could have been the greatest player in history. We are talking about a guy who played in a time that the serie A was considered the toughest competition with the hardest defenders . I've seen this guy shake off 4 defenders that were pulling his shirt at the same time, simply because he was that good and that unstoppable. Never seen Cristiano do that and Messi neither. And I consider them both legends. But the phenomenon was unique.

Those days where man United was a great team
This is like a Daily Mail headline. He was subbed on, put it out of touch a few times, scored one and claimed someone else's but was utterly outshone by Real Madrid 🤷♂️
Nobody talk about Zidane, but he was also World Class in that game
his performance in the 1st leg was better than ronaldo's
Great Video 👏👏
Thank you
So one free kick and a tap in that was going in regardless
The caption of the video🤣🤣
Finally ZIZOU in United shirt !!!!!
passing 1 free kicks 99
don't know how he stayed on the pitch to the end, gave the ball away so many times
Man U and Real Madrid in there elite prime. What a game.
Beckham is a home run hitter - he strikes out a lot, but he also hits the big shot as well.
It's football, you can only score or not score.
Keep your Americanisms in American sports, nobody hits "home runs" here.
I love the sarcasm in the title.
Great man. what a player. legend.
The beauty of football
The game Beckham knew his time was up at Old Trafford.
Showing the Real fans who they were getting for next season.
Nah. His time at Man United was up when Ferguson kicked a boot at Beckham that left a cut just above his left eye.
@@aabidamn He did say sorry to Beckham... I've got the book... interesting read about what happened...
@@JulianSirian It was unintentional, but Ferguson had been very critical of Beckham for several years, particularly that season. He kept openly criticizing the way Beck's dress and his hairstyles, eventhough his performance on the pitch hadn't dropped because of it. I remember thinking that they're trying to push him out of Man United like they did to Stam and at the end of the season, I was proven right.
He played well enough coming on that Real wanted him. I was in Madrid at the time and the Spanish were impressed with his performance
So what you’ve done there is just show beckham fucking up nearly all his passes and only scoring a free kick, then getting a toe to a ball that was already going in the net 🤣 great edit, well done 🤣🤣
Ronaldo got a standing ovation after this game from the entirety of Old Trafford once that final whistle went, different league of player. A lot of people borderline disrespecting Beckham in the comments… I suggest you all give your heads a wobble.
THIS GUY WAS BORN TO CURL THE BALL EVERYBODY WILL SAY ROBERTO CARLOS OR RONALDINHO YEAH THEY WERE ALSO MAGICAL BUT THIS GUY'S CROSSING AND SET PIECE WAS SOMETHING ELSE SIMPLY SENSATIONAL
What!
look at sir alex's face when beckham's free kick fail out
David said in his book that he was shocked at his reaction when he (david) watched the game on tv later
So basically Becks had about 5% pass completion rate against Madrid 😂
Imagine if Fergy started him? Guess Beckham learned something from that...
Beckham was like there's no better team in the world than this all star Real Madrid gallecticos ever...A dream team... period
I was at that match, Madrid were never in any real danger.
April 23, 2003- I was there
Tukaq baju dgn Zidane tu…sempoiii
Ronaldo in his prime was the best clinical striker ever.
He scored a couple of goal when Madrid had already the game won. Ronaldo (the original one) dominated the game.
How had they had the game won. If united had scored all their chances they would have gone through. Stop making things up on the internet you child
How do you dominate a game and lose it 😭😭😭im done with these fifa kids 💀💀💀💀did mbappe dominate argentina cos he scored. A hat trick? No they got slapped about and beat on penalties hold this L
@@Johndoe-gf7eu Madrid won the first game 3-1. They lost the second game 4-3, but still went through, quite easily on aggregate. Beckham's goals were scored when his team were 6-3 behind on aggregate. They would have needed two more goals to go through. Don't kid yourself. United were well beaten.
More interested in swapping shirts with Zidane at this stage
So a free kick goal and a tap in of a ball that was going in anyway. Nice. Good music at least.
Beckham was a class player and got even better once he left Man Utd.
They showed his worst moments. He was good when he came on and scored two. Those two games were insane. I’m a Man United fan, but was a fan of football watching those two legs
Golden days
Messi, Ronaldo, Beckam and Pele all the greatest players in the world!
I was at this match, don't remember Beckham doing much but Ronaldo got a standing ovation from 79000 people when he came of the pitch.
Did 5000 people sneak into Old Trafford that night or something ?
Apologies for forgetting my dates
"off"...
@@alanlane3670 are you an English teacher?
@@keithscott663 Yes
Remember this game so well! We applauded Ronaldo off with a standing ovation and created enough chances to have won the game by 5 or 6
Yes, I remember that - and the look of confusion on his face as the opposition fans gave him a standing ovation ! We also chanted for Fergie to buy him... We won but not by enough goals. No idea why the title mentioned Beckham. He was part of a great team.
This cannot be a David Beckham fan channel?! This was one of the least flattering, most obvious displays of his actual inadequacies I can remember seeing. And I like the guy! He did wonderful things! These aren't amongst those things!!
A pretty standard Beckham performance
This shows that a 'fat' Ronaldo after long injuries sustain still can produce a hat trick at All Trafford. The real GOAT
The best era of soccer I guess
Except that free kick 😅
Great free kick and lots of misplaced passes
The noise of the fans back then before game even kicked off
He came on and had a nice free kick goal with a bunch of shitty passes. Epic vid dude 😂
How I wish I could go back to 2003
Hi Benjamin, it's funny just as the World championships are being played, our team the germans have been manipulated and brainwashed for political purposes.
I'd forgotten how many of Beckham's passes went wrong, and how good Ronaldo was
Not true.. He was constent.. Hed just fallen out with fergie before this game.. Hence he was a sub
I think David knew his time was up, so his head was gone at this point
Trust me no one forgets how good ronaldo phenomeno was
But look who was in goal, Barthez should have saved both of Ronaldos goals.
Becks made a lot of high risk forward passes so of course a lot will not come off but when they do you're in behind
so amazing
Real Madrid 🤴 👑 ❤
Just a montage of him giving the ball away endlessly
Look at the line ups for both the teams, sheer class
He still looks great
