  • Quality craftsmanship. It would be interesting to know the history of that shop . Those are some heavy duty hammers .1 said pakistan on the side . Is this in Pakistan? What were the hammers made to forge ? They look very expensive to be forging axe heads .

  • I would buy a hand forged axe from these hard workers long before I'd buy a new axe made in china. But I don't have this opportunity, so I buy old axe heads stamped with England/USA/Sweden/Canada at yard sales and put new handles on them.

  • The craftsmanship is awesome! My issue is with the fact they only quench a small fraction of the tip. That way the hardened steel from the edge will wear off faster and the user will be forced to buy a new axe, without ever knowing what the issue was with his first purchase....
