    • In my mind, this is all the church should be doing, is reflecting on the problems the members are facing and challenging their leaders to face those, no matter the time or attendance. Too much of today's churches are bound by sequence. Singing, prayer, intro, story, bible verses, reflection, prayer, food for thought, close. This might work for people, but I personally don't think it is WORKING FOR the people. Meaning on the surface it's pretty and motivates good feelings, but overall it's not very challenging. I think what made Jesus such an inspiration for so many is that he wasn't bound by sequence or "pretty". He did what others would not. He challenged what others would not. It was incumbent on him; there was no one else to do it. I feel it is incumbent on the church to face these challenges at every hour, in every season. Bc no one else will.

  • For those asking how the Pastor knew Anthony's name in the video, here's some context: This interaction wasn't staged or planned. It was actually the second time Anthony had shouted out with some colorful language, prompting Pastor Ed to kindly ask for his name and handle the situation with grace and compassion. So no, it wasn't a performance - just genuine interaction that speaks volumes about the heart of our pastor and church.

The Pastor has to use wisdom because in context the man was homeless and may NOT be spiritually matured. You don’t have to rebuke, you can teach and still shine light and bring truth. Jesus only did that to Pharisees because they should know better; the man here isn’t in that category. “ He that wins souls is wise.” And no the Pastor didn’t compromise at all… Your religious strongholds are making you fight something that was the LORD.

Last weekend I was in church saying a very important deliverance prayer on two different occasions and there were soooo many distractions happening. I mean like not a coincidence there were so many distractions from other people that I almost didn't get through the deliverance prayer both times. I pushed through as I wanted to stop many times because of the circumstances. However, God was there, and so was Jesus and Mother Mary as well as the Holy spirit encouraging me to push through and finish. I believe that because I pushed through both times and was obedient, I received the deliverance I needed from multiple Freemasonry generarions in my lineage, and I was freed of my Greek Org affiliation as well. I hope my testimony helps someone!

It's very possible that this clip does not include the first time or times when Anthony was yelling out profanities. Therefore, it's very possible we were not shown the very first interactions between him and the pastor. It's very likely that the pastor asked for his name before this clip started. We are missing context, so we can't make judgements

    • @@chazrichie804 Jesus established a visible Body of believers with normative authority and a structure. Those who left it were no longer in the Church, thus no longer a part of the Body of Christ. You can call it religion or relationship or whatever you want to, but the Apostles were taught by Christ and then set guidelines. The people who were taught by the Apostles had a lot to say and they would agree with nothing you believe. God in both the Old and New Covenants also set rules of how one was to worship, and those who did whatever they felt like were punished. There is only One Body, and the Bible says it cannot be divided. Christ has one Bride, He is not a polygamist. If you think 20,000 denominations are all "the church," and we don't need nuthin but Jesus, you don't know or have the real Jesus.

    • Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.

Even if they did know their name they can’t just willy nilly background check people. lol You obviously have never had a background check because they take over a week to get just to get a basic check done. There’s no program people can just background check people. Police can’t even do that. They can only see your arrest record. You have to fill out a specific form and send it in to Austin for them to background someone. It takes a week sometimes longer. So I don’t know who told you that lie. Is a pastor has an earpiece on they usually are communicating to other pastors, the sound people, media people, members of the church. To have a smoothly running church. It would also be for security in case something happened they all would be notified to take action. Where did you get these crazy lies and that is someone not smart to go on the internet spreading things you didn’t investigate yourself to see if it was true or false. You believe what people tell you instead of taking information, investigating it yourself before running around spreading misinformation. That’s naive.

  • Jesus is the mighty healer AWESOME Reedeemer, and he can turn ANYONE'S life around. I was at my lowest point like the prodigal son and I was ready to end my life when in desperation I called out to Jesus and HE saved my life. I have been set free from a lifetime of drug addiction and alcoholism. I'm 47 and Praise God I have been clean nearly 9 years. God is with us, and he's waiting for his lost children to return. With Jesus all things are possible. He gave me everything back I had lost 10 fold. I do have 3 older sons that have yet to forgive me but I know God is working on their hearts and in his perfect timing he will restore those relationships as well.

  • This video was SO touching.. I was in a church service where a homeless man heard the worship music from the street and came in with a cup of coffee to be in the presence of the Lord. Rather than surround the man with the loving presence of God’s people, the pastor kicked the man out and then told the people he was the shepherd and his job was to protect them. I’m so sad the opportunity was missed to demonstrate the love of the Father to him.

    • Yeah I was in a church when a lady started yelling out during the sermon and a woman behind her started pointing like, "get her out of here" and that was exactly what 'security' did. It was an eye opener to me that that church lacked power, and the ability to see what the need was which was prayer and deliverance, as opposed to what they did. Sometimes it just is a test for the church to see what will we do in circumstances like those. No one was being harmed...seems they get so concerned about the pastor's well being that they forget about the people who walk in the doors.

  • Christ will judge us on how we treated those less fortunate than us; these brothers show us how this is done! From an Eastern Orthodox Christian…

    @robbwylde2002@robbwylde200228 күн бұрын
    • God is love. We all fall short and sin. Love is just and merciful. Because God is loving He must judge sin, we all stand judged. Because God is merciful He provided a way out from under the weight of the law and for us to be regenerated. If we trust Jesus shed His sinless blood, died and rose from the grave He forgives us of our sins and gives us a new heart that wants to look God as our Father genuinely and delight in Him, freeing us from being slaves to sin. The rest is our mind catching up with that reality and taking hold of His teaching and truth until He returns, or we die. We aren't saved or kept saved by obedience. We can only be lost through unbelief (trusting in our own righteousness, to be or remain saved) or blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (attributing clear works of God, healing/deliverance, to demons and Satan). Commandments aren't have to's, they are what we do because we actually want God's direction and It's what fulfills us. You can't be born again without the desire to honor God. (Works based salvation "Christians" and "lawless Christians" are both wrong.) We love because God first loved us. Jesus is God, the Son, "the first and the last", God along with God the Father "the Lord God", this title is mentioned with being tied to God in Isaiah 44:6-8, and that same is sent along with the Lord God's Spirit in Isaiah 48:11-16. Jesus further claims this title also in Revelation 1:8-17. Leave catholicism/orthodox/protestant churches that preach strife, or inform them.

      @Pain2Power4Purpose@Pain2Power4Purpose26 күн бұрын
    • @@Pain2Power4Purpose it isnt true that noone 'gets credit but God'. The apostle Paul, for example, often praised those he wrote to if they were faithful to what he had taught them. There is nothing wrong with praising another Christian for doing the right thing. Michael acted as the Good Samaritan. God is well pleased with him no doubt. Ive often found your idea odd. On the one hand if humans do bad things, they are blamed. But if they do good things, God is praised but not them. Michael still chose to act as he did, even if it was at the Spirit's prompting. As you know we can walk in step with the Spirit or quench Him. Michael was doing the former, making that choice. The pastor was simply overcome by emotion given the good that someone attending his church had done.

  • The strongest sermons preached are those with few words, preached through our actions. The sermon which the pastor had prepared - no matter how great and powerful if may have been - wasn't anywhere near as powerful as what happened there with The Lord working mightily through His Holy Spirit right there. The sermon which the pastor cut short may have been remembered for a while by a few, but this sermon which we saw worked out, would be something which would be talked about and remembered for a lifetime. Hallelujah for His Grace & Mercy!
