Sorry way too crowded. Don’t understand the purpose of the table behind the couch. Bet most will be moved after baby comes with all its stuff. Only my opinion of course.
Not sure why you would want to put a table behind your sofa making your living room smaller and more cramped.
She likes decor… another table means MORE DECOR. The beauty of it is… we all keep our homes the way we like. If she likes it good for her. I wouldnt have put it there for the reason you mentioned. We know she is constantly changing though and I wouldn’t be surprised if in a couple months she ditches that table and pushes the couch back. Or maybe when the baby gets here and they need more room. I can almost guarantee it wont be permanent 😅
Alex I do not like the console table. You have too many tables in the room plus it makes it too small. If you put the couch where it was originally that is where the console table would go. You should try and rearrange the configuration again.
I think you’re trying to do toooo much with the decor. The other tables looked way better and matched. Way too much going on. This is just my opinion 🥰

I have never seen a table behind the couch with the wall right there. It's usually behind the couch in the more open space.
There’s nothing wrong with buying all the baby things! The more pregnant you get the more you’ll just want to chill and nest! Why not prep early? Although the decor pieces in your living are nice the room is looking very crowded! There’s way too many pieces of furniture and things in that room, takes away from everything. There’s no focus point!

I agree on the 3-6 month clothes….best bang for your buck….but also….babies can go thru up to 3 outfits in a day sometimes….you arent gonna have too many

I was coming here to say this! Get a variety of sizes. My son was 8pds 3oz and he wore premie size but grew fast so you need a mix lol premie, 0-3 & 3-6.

I see where you’re trying to go with the console behind the couch but I think it needs to be higher. The table looks too hidden behind the sofa. If it were elevated it would look more layered if you know what I mean.
It's the perfect height but it needs to be longer. It not being the length of the couch is what is off.

@@MollyKay452 they aren't using it at all traditional console table. Which they do come in many lengths... They are using as a sofa table against the wall and sofa. Yes it should be the length of the couch.

I love your tv stand console but now I feel like it doesn’t fully go with the wood tones. Almost like it’s too dark and it doesn’t flow with the earthy tones you have.

Love the new furniture but coming from a toddler mom that couch table won’t last long as soon as your little boy can climb on top from the couch. Also, you are going to want as much space in front of the couch for playmats, toys etc. The first thing that went was our coffee table

Came to say the same! My 9 month old girl climbs too. Also im happy I never replaced my coffee table I got rid of. We needed all the space for play mats, play pens, activity tables. All the things lol
You should just not have a coffee table for now. As your baby grows, you’ll probably get one of those play pens and all the things that will crowd out that room even more

U will find that u will need places for baby items the first year. I re think table. Unless you are going to have another room for his stuff. Its beautiful but it gets crazy with high chair walker. Play pen etc. There is a big shift coming soon.
Guys.... the pjs with the feet are called sleepers! Onesies are the short legged 1 pieces that go under their clothes/pjs...😅
What you are buying for baby boy are called sleepers not onsies. Onsies are what you put on typically underneath other clothes they snap between the legs.
Alexandra, I carry pepper spray with me. I’m going to guess you walk in a safe area but you never know if a large or dogs could be lose and run up to your and Bruno. Seen it happen with dogs attacking leashed dogs while walking. Be safe Mama❤

Please trust me you can NEVER have enough onsies, they are the best outfits from newborn to 3 months even older and then you have to consider the potential multiple changes a day so poo explosions, sick etc you'll need loads ❤
My first lived in onesies but my second didn’t wear it once! Always footed zipped pjs. I’m currently giving almost all the onesies away (just keeping my favs).

Good morning! You should stock up on the onesies. Listen, they dribble milk, they throw up, their diapers leak and it’s every five minutes. You will need a lot of back up to change them. You can’t wash them fast enough. Onesies, bibs and burp cloths… stock up. Think 5 a day. Remember you are going to be learning with baby. Girl, my first baby i think we spilled milk on her every time she ate. We were still trying to figure out the latching on part, which took up about 3 months… all I’m saying is stock up!!! * I’ve never had a baby in the cold, so don’t know about what you’ll need there… maybe hats? I can’t wait to watch you have a baby!!

I have the same table in my sunroom! I can tell you that I always get compliments when someone sees it! Don’t apologize for buying things for your baby! Ignore the jealous haters. Baby boy needs clothes, toys etc. Mama and Daddy need stuff too! Enjoy the new tables!

Having your phone in your pocket or holding it will also track your steps etc. It’s in the health app on your phone
For your information - pregnancy brain - kicks in only after birth , when a women is exhausted from the birth. During pregnancy women are fully capable of functioning and thinking - these information comes from newer studies 😊. So if you forget something it has nothing to do with your brain not functioning correctly- be happy and enjoy your pregnancy ❤❤❤❤
Who did these studies? Pregnancy is exhausting also. I have three kids, one pregnancy was twins. The pregnancy brain was real so based off of experience, I can’t fully agree with this 😂

Size up for baby clothes! I bought a ton of different sizes and made separate bins so I was prepared up to 24 months at least!
Don’t be afraid to buy bigger sizes of those onesie sleepers! You’ll definitely use them. And you tend to get a lot of smaller sizes as gifts. I always buy 6-9m sleepers for baby showers!
Alex from one Momma to another those onesies from Walmart that are $5 are top notch! I just had my son April 1st and those are all he lives in! Easy to get on and off, easy to zipper one handed and change their diaper, must buy! ❤

Make sure you get some baby gowns for the first few weeks. They are a lifesaver for the middle of the night diaper changes.

Don’t buy a ton of 0-3. You don’t know how big baby will be and that’s the size people normally buy for you at the baby shower. I would buy some 3-6 or 6-9.
I love baby shopping, so many cute things. If i could have done it differently, I would have stocked up on diapers and got different sizes along with my regular shopping.
The entertainment center is now not matching maybe a new buy 👏🏼
(I've been working in furniture many years) You are going to need to at least put some poly on that table. If you leave it unfinished it will crack over time. You could do butcher block oil but you would need to re-oil it pretty often.

Baby clothes run small and shrink. Babies are not all one size fits all for month size and their age. Also, babies will also need the zip up onesies, especially in summer when you have the AC on. They need help thermoregulating, unlike adults. You will definitely get use of onesies, so you really should buy a range of sizes.
Honestly, you can always buy up in the sleepers. You’ll be really happy when he starts outgrowing the small stuff and you can pull out new stuff in the next size up! 3/6/9 month is all totally safe to buy.
Also I like separate top and pants because they are more forgiving in size and my babies always curled their legs up into the footed sleepers and got their little legs stuck by their belly
As a mom to an almost 6month old baby, get some newborn stuff. Sometimes they stay in newborn for a while. The 0-3months can be pretty big for newborns right away.

i have two boys. youngest is 5mo. yes they live in onsies for the first few months as its quick and easy to change them into but here is some useful advice. buy only onsies that have foldable footsies! baby may be rather tall with big feet, so and you get more wear out of the ones with optional feet covers! 😊
Girl buy all the baby clothes, don’t limit yourself! It’s part of the fun. Also get bigger sizes, they grow out of newborn stuff so quick. I’d get 3 months and 6 months 🙂 Living room looks so beautiful too!

Look into bamboo sleepers for the baby. Soooo cute and the babes will look and feel nice and comfy ❤

I love that table. I would personally have a console behind the couch that is the same length as the couch though. It's throwing me off being so much shorter lol I think you should do a TV stand DIY to make it lighter to match with everything else too! Just my opinion. Love your style though. I have the same ruggable in my livingroom because of you and love it 🫶🏼
Good morning sunshine. I know it's hard to resist shopping for clothes bc you want to pick it out (that's how I felt) but wait until after your baby shower. Also babies grow so fast, you don't need that much 0-3 months. One of my twins went from preemie onesies to 6mo by 4 months.carters and old navy onesies are my fave, gerber, I found runs small. It's wild how different the sizing is btw brands.
Carter's will typically let you exchange for different sizes as long as the tags are still on. They will exchange for what you paid with a receipt or what they are currently being sold for without a receipt.
My daughter was in 0-3 for the first four months so having a lot of 0-3 was helpful for me. It doesn't matter what you get and buy before they are here. You typically still have to go get more what what you need or exchange what you don't.
Carters is a trusted brand for many many years. they really hold up and they have the CUUTEST things. I wore Carters as baby (I'm 59!), my kids wore Carters, and I still buy Carters for any baby gift I buy.
Oh I miss shopping for baby clothes, have fun!!! 3-6mos best sz to shop for, newborn and 0-3 may last some babies a month if lucky. Get what you want!

Old navy has the best sleepers, they last thru multiple washes and the 2 way zippers are essential!
Definitely don’t sleep on the Walmart baby section. It was pretty much the only place I found preemie clothing to fit my son who was born 9 weeks early. ❤
I’m from Australia and just wondering isn’t Walmart classified as an affordable place to shop? Some of the prices that I saw especially of the homewares seemed crazy high compared to here for very similar items. The baby onesie are so adorable though I don’t know how you choose I would have wanted one of each haha.

I walk everyday thru out my pregnancy super great my delivery lasted 15 minutes I went in at 1:57 and he was born at 2:17 keep on walking he was my first born I literally spit him out no time for prepping no epidural nothing 3 pushes and he was out.

I have those sleepers from Walmart in literally almost every print for my daughter.She just turned 5 months old and she's in the 0 to 3 months.She was born at 5 lb 11 oz but she got down to 5 lb 6 oz .but she literally fit in the newborn sleepers up until about a month ago. I Have 5 children and in my opinion they are in newborn and 0-3 the longest . She even wore preemie for about a month after birth . I stocked up on newborn and thought i bought to much but ended up buying more cause she wore it so long !! And are great because they have double zippers so you don't have to unzip the whole outfit for diaper changes!!

Also my Walmart has a whole section of baby Winnie the Pooh clothes !!

I have a 5yr old and a 3 year old, currently pregnant with my 3rd baby. I would say buy all the things you want for your baby. If you have less you will be doing laundry more often if you have many maybe some things wont get used… it’s just personal preference. Don’t feel judged it’s your money you spend and your baby that you will be loving and caring for no one else’s.
You don’t want to buy too many 0-3 month clothes for him, he will never be able to wear all of them, neighbor has 2 just 13 months apart and the first didn’t wear the majority of the clothes mom got at her baby shower so they saved them for the newest addition
