Thank you for not adding some irritating music, I appreciate that.
Carl Flanders I enjoy the mechanical noise
Irritating music??? You mean, thank you for not adding ANY music whatsoever. Yeah, it's INFINITELY better without music, which allows you to hear the satisfying sounds in the factory of things being assembled and made.
Carl Flanders 👍
Much better listening to the factory sounds thank you 👍
Alan Walker : *Where are you now*
Electric motors building electric motors
Thats right 😄 . But all robots are built by humans 👍
People making people
Electric bill cost
Cornel Con nah they are also made by robots. It's a loop
Human builds humans, same way
Loved it, no background music to ruin the experience was a big plus.
That's the German style
That was the real background music experience :)
The manufacturing process itself is an orchestral masterpiece!
looks even more complex than a V8 petrol engine
For real bruh
That factory needs a huge amount of diversity.
@@Honorablebenaiaha what would that achieve?

The brilliance of the ppl that design these machines is truly astounding.
Thank you.
@@winstonalf whats TRUELY astounding is you have the arrogance to take credit for things you have nothing to do with. Many minds over many years got us to this point... IDIOT
@@D.Will.C. It is unfortunate that the Germans sold Kuka (the company that makes the machines that make machines as shown in this video) to the Chinese consortium Midea Group.
D Clayton I believe Winston Rodrigues was simply agreeing w my comment, he wasn’t accepting credit. Why would u assume that he was?!
@@D.Will.C. I am an industrial automation research and development engineer in Singapore. I have designed highly complex printed circuit board assembly and components placements machine. Where robotic pick and place machine picks tiny components 300 per minute from the reel and places precisely on exact location on the board.
The production machines are sophisticated but the automation that make the processes flow so smoothly are more fascinating.
Respect to everyone who made this possible from the machinists to the installation engineers
Don't forget the development engineers.
This is actually one of the most satisfying videos i have ever seen, the incredible accuracy of those machines, the smooth stops with that big orange robot arm and the perfect silence of just factory sounds is so cool...
totaly agreeeeeeeeeeeeee
There's a Porsche engine factory video and the workers don't speak or fool around. Very immersing to watch.
A precisão, padronização e perfeição do trabalho dos robôs, é a ficção científica que se tornou realidade! Impressionante!
Es genial, seria un privilegio, una dicha poder presenciar tan impresionante proceso de fabricación.
One of the most underrated and ignored parts of an automobile is how perfectly the doors are hung and operate.
What got me was the twine wrapping operation (forgot the name) to wrap the edge windings. Amazing machines.
You are showing us how they make an electric engine. But I can't stop wonder: how did they made the machine that make the electric engine...
Yes, a lot of ingenieurs are nit gonna work "actively" on the car itself, but rather develop tools and machines that are making tbe components of the car
By using another machine that made by another machine that made by another machine.
In fact, this video shows that there is no longer room for people in production.
@@uca062206 and the e cars are still way to expensive
Or the machine that made the machine that makes the electric engine
As amazing as all this is, what's more amazing is the engineering that went into all the assembly of the machinery involved. I can see why they like to use certain power trains over multiple models or vehicles.
It is cheaper that way. But is it what you want?
@@sat7755 I switched to a 2 wheel EV, I can get into the city faster than a car now. just by bypassing all the grid locks.
@@sat7755 no. all i want is to love, and to be loved! audi cannot provide this for me for any less than 89k euro
That's exactly what i thought..mankind has come a long way from stone tools..amazing engineering....
This level of engineering is just amazing to watch and a testament to what great things we can achieve.
Yet we cant figure out how to make a left turn at an intersection without holding up the traffic behind us. I mean we're aware of the roundabout but we scoff in defiance.
I worked in the automotive industry for 50 years and you ain't seen nothing ! producing I.C.E components for Ford, JLR, Vauxhall, even Rolls Royce Scania Etc. (Forge engine vale time 3 secs under 700 ton press)
But the lack of diversity really disgusts me.

Stunning display of mastery of production engineering.
A beautiful thing to watch. All the mixed alloy components, copper wire, silicones, hardened steel bearings and plastics brought to you by coal and the oil industry.
mining is petroleum intensive, as is processing copper, steel and other alloys, and heat treating and machining them, as necessary.
I am being rather facetious
seeing a machine doing those amazing complex designs makes me wonder how people came with such incredible ideas🤔
This Robot-Machines ( Brand name ; KUKA ) is a german manufacture , too
I’d like to see how engineers come up with plans to build the machines! That’s true art and engineering.
Wouldn't that be interesting
Thanks to KUKA 😊
I want to work on these machines one day, it was great seeing all of this in the works.

It’s amazing how those machines pick up the motor so easily and twirl it around like it weighs nothing!!!
Well the machines weigh much heavier than what they are picking up. Like hulk hogan picking up a toddler
@@ssj2camaro21 I was thinking Macho Man Randy Savage but Hulk works too.
This is amazing

I like it. Original Sound. TOP. Automation and Digitalization at´s his top.
Love the scene when adhesive glue pump out to the engine
Really loved this video. Something oddly comforting about it.
The robotics are so freaking precise.
No background music, but the actual machine sounds, wow.❤️
What is far more impressive is the engineering of the equipment making the motors.
Love the full experience and sounds man!!!!
I didn't expect less from Audi. Very impressive.
Да,круто конечно!
What impressed me the most is how clean everything is, including the workers lol
When it comes to high voltage electronics, every particle can create a bridge between two different electric potentials. So you really have to make sure there is no type of dust going into the area of raw copper wires or onto the circuit boards, that has not been anticipated by the designers.
You can eat from the floor, cleaner the most restaurants.

I drive an electric car and I love it. It is so interesting to see how the motors are made! This is the future of all vehicles, in my opinion.
Me to
And we cant get the trace metals needed to make all the batteries.
You can make batteries out of almost any material. Plus they can be recycled
Will never be as cool as human assembling a combustion engine.
Relaxing and cool to watch.. and no obnoxious music 👍👍
What it takes to design and program working robots and to train workers working around 400 Volts is amazing! Seeing it all come together.....PRICELESS! !
Halbach array for magnets like Tesla?
Amazing factory....amazing high end equipments.
when I saw the guy building the motor I thought... Audi Manage that!
Восхищён технологичностью концерна. Вполне интересный экземпляр двигателя. Сложно оценить объем труда всех ступеней - от идеи и до реализации самого роботизированного конвейера.
Thanks for information and video. I really enjoy watching it. A A from Karachi Pakistan.
My pleasure 🙏
I watched numerous videos about the Electric Vehicle production line to add to my project file. However, when I watch other videos, they have annoying music and this music is not allowed in my project. Thank you so much for not adding annoying music to this video
It must be a wonderful feeling to enjoy a career like that. I can only imagine the tests before entering that type of job. For all of those working on every Automotive vehicle gas or electric I envy every single one of you! Keep up the amazing work!
All the thinking has been removed and repetitive work is the only way welcom to the bots factory 🏭 😕 no thanks.
Beautiful work
Gonna save this video. I might want to build one for myself next week .
I already built one they copied my setup
This is quite amazing and relaxing to watch. It’s incredible the things we as humans can create but also destroy.

Well well well....working for car manufacturing myself. Have to admit it is amazing tech process out there. Quietness on the floor, clean, environment is attractive. Even uniform. Well done Audi
And you car makers get a too high monthly salary. That's why the cars are so expensive
A hybrid process, a mix of man and machine. Safety, quality, economic
And ergonomic!
Thanks for this amazing video because it’s so different and cleanness in this workshop is unbelievable
What a process, so enjoyable to watch.
That big orange robot is the star of the show!😲👌Of course, nothing is complete without skilled human hands!👍
I'm not sure what's more impressive, the actual e-tron motor or the automation machines that help build it!
It's the automation which is scary. The motors, nah, they are probably using our aerospace technology. Even model railway locomotives manufacturers e.g. Hornby are now using skew wound pole technology. It's the motor control circuitry where the real clever stuff lies.
octalicious - The e-Tron has pretty poor efficiency, so the motor isn’t that impressive when compared to other manufacturers’ designs.
An electric Audi 🤔. Finally, an Audi that doesn't have the check engine light on as soon as it leaves the factory.
because it doeant even have an engine
wow, you are so smart
Check eMotor light is on my friend

It's amazing that it's amazing.
3:49 That robot is so big and powerful, yet so gentle and precise .. That is a beautiful machine .. I'm more amazed by the robot than the e-tron motor. I wish it had more video time, I could watch it work all day ..

it is amazing no doubt but a part of me still thinks its just too much machine for such a solution. Reminds me of cassette playing vs say cd. Soo many more moving mechanics vs technology. Its almost as if we have a tool to assist us to still make electric motors the old fashion way!. Never the less i'm still empressed by the machanics.
Whoever created this is a genius
Thank u so much for showing us the whole production line of electric engine production, it is completely different, expect robots. 😇
😱 Fantástico..!!😀👍 Show..!!😂👏👏👏👏
Muito perfeito legal
How meticulously things are made! Great to watch🙂
Great! Thank you Audi!
Assez impressionnant quand même !! 👀😉
То, за чем можно наблюдать вечно...сила ума не имеет предела..!!!!!
FANTASTICA ESTA LINHA DE PRODUÇÃO DA AUDI ..MUITO INTERESSANTE E ENGENHOSA .
So sophisticated yet the all the automated machines and processes are so smooth and precise, and the production is quiet, clean, beautiful. Just awesome, the guy talking even said the solar panels on the roof provide power for this huge manufacture. The Europeans know what there doing when it comes to this stuff. But I do wonder, there must be some drawbacks
The main drawback is the horrible reliability European cars produce
Audi should send this video to Tesla with the remark: "This is how we do building quality...".
More like "this is how we do inefficiency". Tesla Model Y gets 280wh/mile vs etron at 450wh/mile. That's almost 60% higher energy usage for the Audi and yet the Audi still manages to be a slower car 😂
I'm really surprised by the high level of automation on the motor part, for the relative low level of Audi e-Tron motors that are sold on the market. I thought they would source this phase to some other motor specialised manufacturer.
Amazing process. I find machine tools very interesting also. The making of the machine that makes the machines .
It’s beautiful. The best I’ve ever seen. So quiet 🤫 Something very important happening.
Incredible! Super stoked and happy to see how there is such diversity in the assembly of the e-tron! Amazing LED lighting from a Photovoltaic source as well! This video was really educational for me and I love to study all the components as well as see how well the work is done in the fabricating of wiring for the electric motor, fusing everything together, and inspection! Incredible job! May I ask what type of electric motor the audi e-tron has? From its design, it looks like an asynchronous permanent magnet induction motor which means this electric engine is tertiary and all integrative! The copper windings in the rotor which is encased probably by the magnet metal stator is both asynchronous and inductive?
I wish Tesla had the same quality control at ended production as Audi. Measuring the bodywork and trim down to the millimeter. Impressive video! Thanks!
@Daniel Brice Yeah, I love my Tesla, but it wouldn't hurt to have less repairs. As you mentioned, I am wondering what's behind the idea of less range. Less performance is not an issue for common people. Elon is a very intelligent and unique man, that's for sure. His ideas combined with German precision would be outstanding.
@Daniel Brice E-tron have a big battery buffer. And will for sure outlive every Model X. Quality in Etron is way way better than any Tesla. Handling is also better. You don't need bigger range if you can load your battery for 15-20 minutes. But this si not the problem, everyone can put bigger battery. Why you need updates in the first place? Good luck with any Tesla out of the warranty. They are worst even in warranty.
@@stalliontheplumber7406 heaven forbid a commoner gets their hands on an EV!
Audi vehicles are riddled with costly issues, i see it weekly in comparison to some other manufacturers excluding American vehicles.
Tesla is junk when it comes to quality, period! Great in range but that’s it
Thank you for sharing this it's amazing production process
I could sit and watch these robots all day
I’m surprised that Audi makes the electric motors, i thought they used Bosch. Also, that factory is extremely clean, it’s like more an electronics plant than a car parts factory.
