  • So sophisticated yet the all the automated machines and processes are so smooth and precise, and the production is quiet, clean, beautiful. Just awesome, the guy talking even said the solar panels on the roof provide power for this huge manufacture. The Europeans know what there doing when it comes to this stuff. But I do wonder, there must be some drawbacks

    • More like "this is how we do inefficiency". Tesla Model Y gets 280wh/mile vs etron at 450wh/mile. That's almost 60% higher energy usage for the Audi and yet the Audi still manages to be a slower car 😂

  • I'm really surprised by the high level of automation on the motor part, for the relative low level of Audi e-Tron motors that are sold on the market. I thought they would source this phase to some other motor specialised manufacturer.

  • Incredible! Super stoked and happy to see how there is such diversity in the assembly of the e-tron! Amazing LED lighting from a Photovoltaic source as well! This video was really educational for me and I love to study all the components as well as see how well the work is done in the fabricating of wiring for the electric motor, fusing everything together, and inspection! Incredible job! May I ask what type of electric motor the audi e-tron has? From its design, it looks like an asynchronous permanent magnet induction motor which means this electric engine is tertiary and all integrative! The copper windings in the rotor which is encased probably by the magnet metal stator is both asynchronous and inductive?

    • @Daniel Brice Yeah, I love my Tesla, but it wouldn't hurt to have less repairs. As you mentioned, I am wondering what's behind the idea of less range. Less performance is not an issue for common people. Elon is a very intelligent and unique man, that's for sure. His ideas combined with German precision would be outstanding.

    • @Daniel Brice E-tron have a big battery buffer. And will for sure outlive every Model X. Quality in Etron is way way better than any Tesla. Handling is also better. You don't need bigger range if you can load your battery for 15-20 minutes. But this si not the problem, everyone can put bigger battery. Why you need updates in the first place? Good luck with any Tesla out of the warranty. They are worst even in warranty.
