So Nick - the sun DOES shine sometimes in Liverpool! Your city has a lot in common with mine - we had the 4 seasons in Glasgow today! BMD looking great in the sun.
What an impressive stadium that's going to be. Let's hope it heralds the long awaited reversal of fortune for our beloved club and the future finally turns for the better. 💙
Happy Easter to you and yours. The stadium looks quite impressive and I’am aRed .Good luck 🍀.
Great video as allways Nick hope you and your family have a nice Easter weekend
Hey Nick, a lot of the light posts outside the East stand now have lights on them. They have multiple lights so would assume they will have the pointing at certain areas as well as creating safe light levels for people walking around
Hey Nick, also just noticed they have started the cladding on the North concourse (10:47) so will keep this going around so we have an idea what it will look like on the south as discussed in your last midweek video.
If there is one person who should get an invite Nick it’s you mate! COYB💙
Is that the Archi Leitch design on the exterior? Well done if so...Imagine that lighting up at nighttime!
Mr Drone have been watching from the Start. May i say when its up and Running the sound is going to be massive as a Wrexham Fan i wish all you Blues all the best for the club and Run in. Best Ground in Liverpool God Bless.
I truly appreciate all the work you put in to make these videos. Bless you and your family this Easter. Kind regards, Micky.
Hi Nick, another fine bit of work by yourself, keep 'em coming. I decided to use yesterdays (Saturdays) fine weather to take a trip from Blackpool to go and have a look at the stadium as I haven't been since September last year. I wil have been there later in the day than you and you don't really see a great deal through the gates, however, the size of the thing still takes the breath away. One thing that I did notice yesterday which will have undoubtedly been created by the weather conditions, and the time I was there - around 1pm - was that the glass covering the hospitality area in the south stand looked like it was shimmering due to the sunlight playing on the water in front of it. Because I'm at ground level where as your drone is in the air probably means that you would be unable capture such an event whilst filming. It certainly looked very impressive, that said how many times in a year that would happen is open to conjecture.
Thanks For Sharing This Nick. Though I Thought I Saw Your Video On KZhead Earlier On This Afternoon, On My Phone? And Then It Disappeared? As I Couldn’t See It On My IPad? But Anyway Have A Blessed Easter, You And Your Family. Happy Easter Weekend. 😊🐰👍
Yes sorry. I had to remove something from the earlier one
@@misterdroneukthank god for that cos I thought I’d gone senile for a min
Happy easter glad sun shinning normally rains at Easter 🐣
Another boss vid Nick. I’ve watched numerous other poster’s vids & yours are a level up in comparison:- better ambient music, better shots, better flyovers - just a better product imho Thanks again for all the vids. Your dedication is massively appreciated by us wools. UTFT ✌🏻
Fantastic video nick thankyou it really is good to see the progress thanks coyb utft
Another great video.....Thanks Nick...
Brilliant video
Re upload?
Yes I had to take something out 👍🏻
Great video again Nick, slight hiccup with the re-upload but only to be expected now & again with you tube rules. The interior shots were a real bonus and some of the angles taken were quite inspired.
Bravo Nick, superb video. So much progress all around the site. Could you have a closer look at what’s going on with the far West perimeter (adjoining The Mersey) it looks like they are building up the walkway/boundary.
May visit one day with our mighty reds 👍
Great pictures Nick. The stadium looks fantastic in Merseyside Easter sunshine. ☀️ It’s great watching the progress of the build from the other side of the world. “ Domo Arigato “
Nick as always great update. See scaffold on R/s of East elevation has fully been dismantled and barrel cladding still progressing on the west elevation 👍 such a pity our 1st team don’t visit and see what’s being built for them it may wake the up a bit. Todays performance was a sham 👎
Great video again Nick. I think everyone will agree with me that if ever a drone operator deserved to be invited in for a tour it’s you. I’ve followed the progress through your videos right from the start. From knocking down the sheds along the dock to pumping the water out & the sand in you’ve been there the whole way & I for one really appreciate your commitment to it. Been great to follow the progress with you & even though we’ve never met I feel like I know you at this stage. I also have one question about the build. It’s about the barrel cladding on the North/East corner. There is a little bit of the roof structure/brackets behind the cladding right at the end that isn’t covered by cladding. Will they fill that in with smaller pieces of cladding or will it be left the way it is?
The gaps in the 4 x edges of the barrel cladding should be filled with narrow sections that complete the barrels fully.
There will be more added so the cladding extends beyond the glass in the north stand. You can see what it’ll look like if you search ‘stadium db Everton final design’ and scroll down to the ‘renderings’ images from August 2020. They’re high definition, so you can zoom in 👍🏻
Burno: yes, just as with the glass panels, you will see all the standard/uniform sections going up first and the special, non-standard pieces will be added later and they will jut out as much as the roof overlaps the glass facades at the tops. The angles at the northern end are different from those at the southern end, so there really will only be lots of 'odd' pieces of each, non-standard shaped and sized section. N.B. if you look again at around 10 mins, you can see that they have been adding the 'coving' supports along the top where the roof and glass will be 'blended'.
This looks like a very windy and especially in autumn/winter really cold stadium next to the water. They shouldn’t use the open elements at the top of the stadium.
Nick: Happy Easter to you too, and everyone else. 1) I do genuinely hope that someone in LoR or the Club recognise you rightfully as having been a very important part of the fans eyes and ears in this whole build and, in that light, invite you in for a tour. I expect they have to draw a line for precedent etc. but as this video shows, some people get invited in. Naturally, I am now intrigued as to who the people were and what their parameters were for being invited. I wonder if you feel slightly rejected that they haven't reached out to you? 2) For your midweek, as suggested to another droner already, you may want your subscribers to see a section of the barrel-cladding in more focus. The vertically-central, southern-most panel of the NW barrel-cladding sections has an almost non-existent metal face, like a mesh, as it sits in front of the northern-most air exhaust duct. This type of 'hole' will be repeated at several points along the West Stand ( I think making 12 in total) and then there'll be 6 more along the East Stand. 3) At around 10 mins, you can see how they've progressed quite a bit with fitting the metal supports along the north stand roof edge, that'll make the 'coving' between the glass panels and the roof itself You might want to focus in on that in your midweek, so that everyone can be on the lookout for the finished material being added too.
Great info, David. Thanks 🙂
Thanks for your continuing insight David! COYB💙

Visited Bramley Moore, Anfield then did the Goodison tour....my goodness chalk and cheese. Anfield, hate to say it looks great with the 2 new(ish) stands....the old Lady Goodison really has no space at all and we have to move to try and improve as a club off and on the pitch.
Hi Nick, Many thanks for all your videos and the work you put into these. With the quality of what you’re doing and the speed at which the work on site is moving, I’ve switched from being an occasional viewer to looking at them all and the twice weekly updates. A question for you and your viewers - does anyone know what the plans are for the pitch floodlighting? I was surprised to see the EFC/LOR recent update that said ““We are working to a schedule that means we will finish current works using the pitch area by early May. The masterplan is to be off the pitch by then, which will allow us to get going with the reduced-level dig.” I can’t see how they can do the floodlighting without using the pitch area and I can’t see any signs of floodlighting work or preparations. Another thought about the seats - it’s great to see them going in, but before Xmas the club said they’d all be finished by Easter and we seem to be a good few weeks behind on that schedule. I don’t expect regular official updates about whether we’re on schedule, but between the seating and the demise of the cladding supplier (I’ve not seen any updates since you first reported it) I’m starting to think we’ll be quite late in finishing. Cheers, John
I was under the impression the floodlights are already installed (I could be wrong though). Delay on the seats is because the roof has been constantly interrupted by the bad weather
@@DuncTheBlue1878Dunc: re the floodlights, you're not wrong. See my response to John for that and also my opinion on the schedule and timeline.
Brilliant as standard Nick. At 7.46 the final row of barrel cladding, half way up on the West roof is more perforated than the rest. Does anyone (and by anyone I mean David Badcock) know why, other than just a design choice? Al.
Alan: 🤣. Good Morning. Thanks for the LOL moment. Yes, the appearance of the mesh-type finish in the panels that align with the southernmost section of the NW Barrel-cladding is due to the Air Exhaust Ducts behind them. You will find that this finish will appear in front of each of the 12 duct towers (they look like scaffolding towers inside the barrel structure) along the West Stand and 6 along the East Stand. Some towers have a single duct, some are only single ones.
Brilliant knowledge as always David. 👏
Hi Mr Drone. Love watching your flyovers of the new stadium. It will look majestic when finished!! I have a query not so much about the stadium itself but about the eventual pitch. A criticism often raised about the Goodison Park pitch has been that it is relatively small (ie. in width) in comparison to many other top-flight grounds, with the result that our players were at a disadvantage when playing away at these grounds as they were less used to the wider pitches. Do you know, or can you see from your drone, whether the eventual pitch at Bramley Moore Dock will wider than the Goodison pitch? Otherwise, keep up the good work!!
Goodison is one of the biggest pitches by area 103m x 70m. Bramley Moore will be min 105 x 68 to comply with UEFA requirements for international tournaments.
@@JayEFC1969 Thanks for your reply and your greater knowledge of the Goodison pitch. What I said has been quoted in the past though!
@NeilMay-nr7pd I only took it from an article I googled - I was surprised myself - I remember Walter Smith ordering the pitch to be narrowed years ago and then i think they went back to traditional size under Moyes. There's definitely longer pitches than Goodison. Even looking again today there's conflicting information out there on the actual size.
When do you think test events will occur? Seems like they'll have a lot of time once it's basically finished (other than finishing touches), to work things out before the 2025/26 season.
Notice on the West side showing the silver side bits (forgotten their name) one seems a different shade, can you check this Nick? Thanks. Happy Easter mate, know the reason for the season. God Bless.
nothing-jg: the panel with the different perforation pattern (almost no metal face) is merely the means of continuing the cladding in front of the air exhaust duct outlets. You will see this 'hole' repeated, in time, in front of all the duct ends along both the West and East stands, along on the middle, vertically.
@@davidbadcock2225 Hi David, thank you, I hadn't noticed such an obvious change on the East stand in the same position. However, it will be interesting to see it all when finished.
Thanks for the great video but couldn't give a dam about the stadium anymore we will be playing championship football in it come the opening game
Can anyone confirm that we have actually paid for the stadium? Is there any possibility that even at this late stage, the club will fail to see it completed? Because you can bet that if the club can fuck it up, they will. We are an absolute shambles of a football club in every way, shape and form. Why should this be any different?
@richosborne2154 💯 percent right it's a complete shambles on and off the field
@@richosborne2154 I get you rich, I’ve thought the same. I’m slightly reassured by Laing O’Rourke though, they seem to be a very professional and highly competent contractor and wouldn’t have been involved unless their payments were nailed-on guaranteed, especially as Everton’s credit rating is so dire. Like him or loathe him, Moshiri got this bit right methinks. Keep the faith Blue, we will overcome….eventualy
@richosborne2154 Everton (via 777) are paying Laing O'Rourke in monthly instalments.
Looking better by the day. Every time I see it I'm hoping they'll fill in the gaps in the "brick cladding sheets". Are they going to or is it a design feature!
Alan: I'm not sure of your specific point but IF you mean the black, anodised, aluminium sheets between the brick facades then the answer is, "Yes, they will be fitting all those, in time". Excluding around where the SE Service Tower was just until this last fortnight, I have no idea why some have been left out so far, such as along the north face, but I have to assume that some were damaged or that something important was being finished off just inside that location.
@@davidbadcock2225 I think I'm referring to the brick facades!
@@alansimon1354Ah, right. Well, broadly the answer is a definite "yes!". Is there a particular patch that is bugging you? If so, pinpoint a time stamp and a bit of reference and there might be a slightly longer answer, beyond just, "yes".
@@davidbadcock2225 lol , I was beginning to wonder if it was a design feature 🤣 I'm not an Evertonian, not even a Scouser, but I was excited about this project as soon as I j heard about it. Hoping to attend the opening test event if I possibly can
@@alansimon1354 Yes, the bar code will get finished (That's a joke, not a fact!)
Happy Easter nick...the barrel roof on the West stand has a section that looks a different texture...I think it's going to be a letter E which I'm thinking will spell EVERTON all the way across once complete.
Scott: the panel with the different perforation pattern (almost no metal face) is not spelling out anything. It's merely the means of continuing the cladding in front of the air exhaust duct outlets. You will see this 'hole' repeated in front of all the duct ends along both the West and East stands, along on the middle, vertically.
@davidbadcock2225 cheers dave....it would be a great feature though as boats coming down the Merseyside would see it.👍
@@scottwoolner4698 Indeed they would, if it were allowed, but the planners were very 'awkward' about having Liverpool overshadowed by any 'in your face' Everton shout.
Do you have any Intel. Nick regarding what The Pumphouse will be used for? Has the club made any public statement about moving, or not the statues at Goodison to the new ground? What is the structure at the South West Corner of the West Stand? Is it the Conservatory Pub I asked for selling Dixie's 60 and Golden Vision Ale'? Great work as always, Nick
David: 1) The Pump House and Hydraulic Tower are merely recorded in the plans as being suitable for a museum and cafe. There has been no update on any more details than that. 2) The club have not made any new plans about the statues. The has always been to leave and enhance their surrounds at GP, as you will see from Nick's previous video. The Everton Way is designed to be the new representation of the 'recognition' and memorials. 3) People will need a little more help if they're to answer your question about the SW corner. Perhaps you could give a time on this video and then some more description of the focal point. However, that said, IF you mean that you think there is going to be any access to the South Stand Viewing Gallery roof, you're going to be very disappointed, even though that's been made very clear all along the way.
Thanks David, I have watched Nick use your information in his videos with great interest. I will try and get a time stamp for what I think I saw as a building on the south west stand corner. Thanks again
Just watched the video again David and the times the structure I think I saw on the corner of the south and west stands are 5:19, 6:10 and 6:23. It looks like there is some kind of glass structure looking outwards from that stand area. That will have a fantastic view of the river and the city to look at hopefully whilst drinking a pint of Dixie's 60 or Golden Vision.
@@davidwilson2016 Hmmm, David, I have paused the videos at the exact times you've stated and I'm still not getting it. Thank you for the timings. Let's assume that I'm being very, very thick and slow this morning. I have taken screenshots at those moments, cropped and enlarged them to see all detail clearly. Let's use the time stamp of 6:10 mins as a reference shot. Imagine a clock face with the centre being the smaller, curved panels of the 6 grey aluminium panels on the SW end of the South Stand Viewing Gallery, with the curved edge of the gallery sloping back towards the SSW Brick Facade and interstitial black aluminium panels in a 10 o'clock direction. Still in a 10 o'clock direction but further out, above the SSW Brick Facade, on top of the concrete roof of the West Stand is merely the end walls of the facilities related to the Hospitality Lounges of the West Stand, which in time will be finished off in the same dark-grey aluminium paneling that you can see used in between the West-facing Hospitality Lounges' windows. At 12 o'clock across to 2 o'clock, the roof above the Viewing Gallery is merely a fairly steep gradient roof to the gallery and will not be open to the public, only Maintenance or Stadium staff. At the very top of the clock and across to 2 o'clock, the glass of the upper levels of the South Stand is complete in terms of the lowest it will go is as you see now. So, what am I missing? By the way, you might not get another reply today, as I'm off to another family event. So, you can take your time composing your pointers.
You are extremely generous with your time, David. I don't think you are missing anything, I will be the one mistaken and what I think is a structure on the south west corner of the stadium isn't a public space, or it might be a large window from a corporate lounge. I dearly hope you get to walk around the new stadium preferably with Nick on camera, as your insights have been fabulous. I won't waste any more of your time and I hope your family event is a good one. I hope one day to also get to our new stadium and explore all over it. I maintain that the club should produce an exclusive Dixie's 60 and Golden Vision Ale, but when does our club ever do 'the right thing'. Thanks again for all you do, David, it is much appreciated
