Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee, who was killed by a suicide bomber outside the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, is remembered at a vigil in Roseville on Tuesday August 31, 2021. "She was one pretty badass marine," said her sister Misty Fuoco.

I was there that day. And dammit hearing this once again brings fresh tears to my eyes. I remember the moment her sister said “And she was one freakin Badass Marine”. The entire venue made the ground shake. It was so loud and strong, the video doesn’t do it justice. RIP Sergeant Gee 🫡.
