Devoted fan, for literally decades. Tinariwen makes everything OK again. Except for my elderly, arthritic joints. 😫It hurts to dance.😖 I do NOT CARE. Gonna dance 💃🏻ANYdangway.💃🏻 CAREfully.👀 🌟👏🏽🌍💓🤩💓🌎👏🏻🌟

Omg i was THERE! Occasionally you get a glimpse of the mad colourful decor in the Siam tent - 3 days, 10 crew and two cherry pickers it took us to put that up.. it was a company called Temple Decor and we did a ton of WOMAD gigs. Rip to Temple Tim who could turn the blandest of venues into a dreamscape.. ❤ such good memories ❤

THESE GUYS CAN PLAY!!!! I don't care what kind of music they play.....THEY ROCK!!!!I swear some of their guitar riffs sound like they came from the Mississippi Delta......just goes to show that music can bring all of us together! Greatest respect from America!!

Someone just turned me on to this band today. I find your comment so interesting because I love traditional Cajun music. Not the Zydeco, which is sort of "Americanized Cajun", but I am talking about the real thing. The firs piece I heard of this band made me instantly think of how much certain parts of this music remind me of the Cajun sound.

+john rayan ...so do Americans.....but we can't get past the silly bogus notion of "race".
@pelumaad3318 жыл бұрын
Leonid....."race" is a social construct with NO biological validity. The contemporary American idea of "race" is a mutation of the white superiority fantasy devised to justify enslaving millions of Africans. I am 60% West African and 38% British Isles in ancestry...Folks like you see brown skin and mindlessly assign me to the black "race". I prefer to think of myself as an American hybrid who is very proud of his Fante, Fang, Nzima, Mina and Mandenkan ancestors who took everything this racist society threw at them...."Race" is YOUR reality...I'm a multi-ethnic member of the human race.

Madame, bien venue en 2023. Je répond bien tard. J’espère que ce message vous trouvera vaillante. L'anglais est une langue internationale qui pèse sur toutes les cultures. Tinariwen (Tamasheq: ⵜⵏⵔⵓⵏ, with vowels ⵜⵉⵏⴰⵔⵉⵓⴻⵏ, pronounced tinariwen "deserts", plural of ténéré "desert") is a Grammy Award-winning group of Tuareg musicians from the Sahara Desert region of northern Mali. The band was formed in 1979 in Tamanrasset, Algeria, but returned to Mali after a cease-fire in the 1990s The group first started to gain a following outside the Sahara region in 2001 with the release of The Radio Tisdas Sessions, and with performances at Festival au Désert in Mali[4] and the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. ] Their popularity rose internationally with the release of the critically acclaimed Aman Iman in 2007. NPR calls the group "music's true rebels," AllMusic deems the group's music "a grassroots voice of rebellion," and Slate calls the group "rock 'n' roll rebels whose rebellion, for once, wasn't just

+john rayan ...so do Americans.....but we can't get past the silly bogus notion of "race".
Leo...never heard of him....and I don't waste my time talking to anti-semite racists...Have a nice day, jerk.
Keep on playing and spreading the authentic African original tradition. Love and respect to you all . Thank you . Merci à vous

I love this... speechless. What an amazing group of artists.They are brilliant .Also..a side note...there is something to be said about not looking like a MiCy...I am straight but OMG she is so seductive and beautiful...
Who is the bitch? Not victorian at all. Just thought she looked beautiful without showing her "assets" to the world. Been in that part of the world you dumb ass...no illusions. Why do people like you always write neg stuff? keep your skanky ass mouth closed.
