LYRICS:
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more)
What you say?
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more)
Woah Woman, oh woman, don't treat me so mean
You're the meanest old woman that I've ever seen
I guess if you said so
I'd have to pack my things and go (That's right)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more)
What you say?
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more)
Now baby, listen baby, don't ya treat me this-a way
Cause I'll be back on my feet some day
(Don't care if you do 'cause it's understood)
(You ain't got no money you just ain't no good)
Well, I guess if you say so
I'd have to pack my things and go (That's right)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more)
What you say?
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more)
(Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more)
Well
(Don't you come back no more)
Uh, what you say?
(Don't you come back no more)
I didn't understand you
(Don't you come back no more)
You can't mean that
(Don't you come back no more)
Oh, now baby, please
(Don't you come back no more)
What you tryin' to do to me?
(Don't you come back no more)
Oh, don't treat me like that
(Don't you come back no more)

The fact that he was blind and created so many breath taking songs is amazing

Ehhhh maybe recheck the drug part lol
@@chuckstevens2672 I mean, he never sang about glorifying or endorsing drugs, like a lot of singers do, and he never felt the need to swear in his songs to make them good.
@@cptobv that’s fair. Although I feel like part of that was because of the time. Back then he did things that were deemed controversial but wouldn’t be considered so today (playing for a desegregated crowd). I feel like certain topics like drugs and sex (which were a big part of his life at one point or another) would’ve made their way into his music had the times allowed for it

Just read, after he died, most of his net worth he donated to his foundation he started!! I haven't heard of a lot of famous, self made millionaires that have followed his footsteps, just watched the movie Ray for the probably 10th time, it seems to be better every time I watch it!!! He's one of the greatest ever in my book!!! ✌🏼 🕊️
Songs from the 60s,70s,80s and 90s are always so good. Im a huge sucker for these kind of songs! Really Love Ray Charles.
And the women are the chorus that’s what also like bout this
@@nostalgit3625 Eh?
100% Facts, the 1900’s music is bomb! Now music is either extremely inappropriate or really annoying, or like techno music, lots of rapping (rapping is great ngl), and there’s also like these pop songs that are okay, but like- 1900’s music hits different.
A great part of the music is taken from an Egyptian old song called ( Ya Alby Ya Khlay ) for Abd El-Halim Hafez , and the song was in a movie that was shot 4 yeas before this song. Here’s the link: kzhead.info/sun/ac-ph9V7eHmXqK8/bejne.html

i am 11 and i dont usually like these types of songs but this is just 🔥FIRE🔥

I love the woman’s voice! Does anybody know if she has her own songs?
They were a group who sang with Ray Charles as backup singers. Search for “the Raelettes”
The group was named the Raelettes but the woman is name Margie Hendricks. She did cut some solo songs. Also they used to be called the "Cookies"
Marie hendricks. She had a solo career after a fallout with Ray. However she was not successful and died at 45. How she died is still unknown.

@@YR13-520 most speculate the it was a heroin overdose but others say it was from cancer, she also died at age 38 not 45:)
