What If We Found Life on Jupiter's Moon Europa?

2023 ж. 22 Жел.
407 188 Рет қаралды

Europa. The icy moon of Jupiter. A frigid world with surface temperatures that would turn you into an astronaut popsicle. And an atmosphere that would take your breath away. Literally. Because Europa's atmosphere is so thin, it's almost non-existent. And, while it's mostly made of oxygen, this kind of oxygen isn't breathable for you. But despite all that, Europa oceans might be hiding a little secret.

    • @@user-fd5ol1ws5q Do not move there. Do not buy real estate there.Taxes, foreigners, socialism, joblessness, high energy costs, etc. have always been a problem, but never as bad as today. What's new is the extreme totalitarianism that began with the so-called pandemic. Germany had the most radical measures during that time including shutting down livestreams with the Bavarian police kicking down people's doors armed with machine guns. There is no freedom of speech. Since the pandemic everything has become only more brazen. Now they're openly talking about confiscating property. To house immigrants and fight global warming. You pay a mandatory monthly fee of EUR 18.36 for state television, no matter whether you own a TV or not. And on that state television they have people on, who tell you it might be a good idea to confiscate your bank account and savings. To fight global warming. I'm done with this, I'm never going back there again.

  • If you'd like to see sci-fi take on a near future manned mission to this world, check out the movie Europa Report. It depicts how dangerous that mission could be and life beneath the ice could be more complex than we thought. Not a movie with much mass appeal but worth a watch for those with an esoteric interest in this subject.

  • I saw someplace on one of these videos where one can come up with ideas for the show. However, I now cannot find it. So that being said, heres my idea and quite frankly, I'm surprised no one has come up with it by now. Now what if...humans had evolved at the size of insects? How would society(ies) be like today? Would we be far more advanced by now or would we have never gotten out of the stone age? How many of us would be on the planet by now? Would we have ever been able to circumnavigate the globe or would we still only reside within our continent of origin, unable to traverse large bodies of water. Would there be more varieties of humans than we have today and/or, even extinct species of man still among us due to less competition of resources over an unfathomably immense area? What would our effect be upon the insect species around us, would we hunt them off or would they do that to us? Would we be able to tame and domesticate certain insects to do the heavy lifting for us as well as a food source to be farmed? What about the Ice Age, would it have been too much for those in the Northern hemisphere and if not, how could they have survived? These are just some scenarios the topic could cover. No doubt there are many more I havent thought of. Think about it, humans are larger than the vast majority of living species on the planet. But What If?
