途中で一回割れてしまい、もう一度イチから作りました^^;

This chair is my original. We are currently applying for a patent. Make a cool chair out of rebar. Because there is a folding mechanism, it is very difficult to make. Because it is a solid rebar, it is a reasonable weight. It is cool to take at the time of the garage or event!

Could you add English subtitles please? What was with the water in the stove and what was the powder that you put in with it? Thanks
@@tankerzuke Salt, its what people ususally use and it also says so on the container.
@@onZampie no need to be rude and if it was that obvious people wouldn't agree with my question!
@@tankerzuke How was i being rude? I was just aswering your question and giving a reason for why i belived it was salt.
onZampie lol these snowflakes get so quickly butthurt
I see a lot of negativity in these comments around his lack of safety wear, the room he's working in, and most of all his use of power tools. When I watch this man work I see someone living, enjoying thier life. I see an artist using tools available to him to create a one of kind piece of work. So instead of shaming someone for not doing things the way we think they should be done, instead enjoy the fact that he is showing his way of doing it.
👏🙌
Preach it my dude!
The haters couldn't do it so they bitch.
I disagree. He is making a video for thousands of people to see. He dropped an ax on the floor next to his slipper covered foot. To me that shows no respect for his tools and an accident waiting to happen. He is using a drill while he holds the project unsecured. Maybe this set-up was for the camera, but I would not want anyone watching to think it was ok and hurt them self.
Amen! The nanny culture and hand wringing is out of control.
Every artist uses a different technique to create a work of art. I use traditional carving tools and power tools to finish my spoons, kitchenware, and cups. Your work is very nice and gives me inspiration. Thank you for sharing your wonderful skills.
Thankyou, it was really good to watch a craftsman making such a beautiful piece.
Good way to make a Kuksa. I am about to make one. This gives me another way. Thanks and take care.
Very nice, good job 👍 thank you for sharing your expertise with us. ✌️
Thanks for sharing this. For I ain't got the right carving tools they usually use, you gave me a good idea about how to get started with. Thanks again from germany
Beautiful kuksa , nice work...
wow.... beautiful mugs!
Grazie
This is a great vid! Love the work you did. I just subbed to ya! Have a great whatevertimeofdayitisforyourightnow! 😸
its funny how people can find hate and negativity in everything. This is amazing art. All I see is positivity here. Great work!
Nice wee video🎣
I really enjoyed your method to carve the kuska, I'll have to look back at this if I make one as well. Side question, what kind of slippers are those? I want to get a pair!
The best songs for this kind of video! I love it!
Awsome video bud!😁
Thank you very much for sharing your video. It has given me new ideas to work with. Keep posting, love your videos. 👍🏻👍🏻🇲🇽
Nice job 👍 great ideal 👍
What kind of wood did you use? It looks beautiful
Love it you inspired me to give it a try
nice hand made lol
Great job!
Te quedaron bellas. Love from Perú
Great job! Thanks for sharing
A good tree lot that we can do all sorts of things! Thanks for video! Subscription.
good to see that you can use day to day tools. will give it a go .

Can you please explain to me the part the kuksa was in the water and the powder used to put in the water?
Hello Sir love your work may i please know what tool or jig you use to sand the inner part of the kuksa with?
search?q=flap+drum+for+drill That is what he used & it is also what i use! Search it, then in go0gle,lo0k @ images.
Not sure why anyone would have anything negative to say about this work? Looks good to me! I might make one too!
8:51 water and salt and then baked? For how long? what's its purpose?
How many of your viewers noticed that at 7:22 you can see an old red pencil sharpener on his work bench. It sits on a little "chrome base" and has two little "ears" that you pinch together as you pull out the opening ring. After inserting the pencil, as you crank the handle which is on the back side, the pencil will "self feed" into the little red pencil sharpener. I hope all of you enjoy this little retro piece of pencil sharpening equipment. Just to let you know, I still use mine. Warmly, Dr. George Whitehead
Good work.
What was that powder? English translation please
A translation of the onscreen explanations would be really appreciated! eg. Why was the pot place in water, and then in an oven?
Removing harshness
Uma xícara muito original! Belo trabalho!
Hi, thank you for your video, what materail did you add to the water and what did you do after that, refrige or oven? Thank you again
Reza Ghm if you learn, add me mention please
@@efeeminaksoy Hi, fortunately I saw another video and I learnt they sink kuksa in hot saltywater for about 2 hours and kept it in zipkeep bags for several days. Have good time
Reza Ghm thank you dude
I guess it's baking soda
Around 8:56, he puts a round container on the desk. It has SALT written on it. It looks to be rock salt or something similar. Not your regular American table salt.
Simplemente hermosa!!!!
Olá, muito bom, parabéns.
Awesome video! What kind of wood are you using?
Beautiful. what was the water and oven for and was that salt in the water?
he says "Boil it with salt so it doesn't break"
I love your security shoes, lol
Beautiful. What kind of wood is best? How long do u let it dry for?
I made it from cherry trees. Originally it is made of birch trees. When finished, let it dry. Boil it with salt so it doesn't break.
Cherry is absolutely my favorite wood to work with I I am currently finishing a walking stick made from the same wood
A hard way to make kuksa. I use only an axe, one chisel, one smal carving knife and one curved carving knife. Anyway, if you had these tools and you have the pleasure to do it i'm sure you enjoy your coffe when you have a project, because the kuksa it is made by you. :) Have fun! :)
Que muy Bonito tu tarro para cerveza
what do you add when you put the cup in the water?
What does he do with it in the pot?
Nice work :)
Hi, I really want to know for how long you recommend to boil a piece of very thin wood (like a bowl) and what tempeture?
If you're boiling water in an open container then it will be somewhere around 100 degrees Celsius. Anything higher than that and the water will be a gas. I say around 100 degrees C because it depends on your elevation as well, higher elevation means lower pressure and a lower boiling temperature.
Good work on explaining how to boil water, James.... but you forgot that the salt will raise the boilingpoint
Thanks for sharing your project. May I ask, How can I get slippers like those at 1:20? They are beautiful and look very comfortable. Thanks again from the U. S.
Can anyone explain what the heat treatment is?
I like the generic shape.... But try and make one with out the power tools !!!
HAVE YOU TRY VINEGAR TO BRING OUT THE NATURAL GRAIN OF THE WOOD INSTEAD
Boiled? Any difference in type of vinegar?
Nice work. Only thing that makes me cringe is the use of a steel hammer on an axe. keep up the good work.
4:30 Nice video !!! Can you tell me what type of drill head you used to do the inside of the cup ?
I think it was a 1 1/4 forstner drill bit
What is the tool called.. you use to make the hole.. for the inside of the Cup. ??
Beautiful..
4:30 what kind of drill bit is that?????
Nice🖒

Nice wooden cup. Not a kuksa i guess
Is that a kind of birch wood?
What kind of wood?
... Why did he add salt to the water? And in the oven? I did not understand this!
It's to cleanse the wood of any contaminants, also some say it helps stabalize the wood so it doesn't crack when going from wet to dry so often.
Hi!do you sell this product? How can I buy it?)
👍
what was tree specie? Looks like a wild cherry that grows in PNW Cascades.
It is good to do
Good video, good method! Thank you. What is the clear liquid in the big pot and what is the powder you add to it please.
water and salt
What was the powder he put in the water to soak the koska in?
he says "Boil it with salt so it doesn't break"
@@peteretired8054 ohhh, thank you for the translation. I wonder if that is something one could do to other small wooden items to make them stronger..🤔
Se trabaja con la madera verde

Bom trabalho
すげー
Había un niño dentro de la estufa?
Don’t hit axe with hammer , us wooden maul. Love your work ...
it is not necessary to boil in water and salt to prevent it from breaking, if it is with dry wood? just oil?
This is a "green wood" carving project usually done with a small axe and hand carving knives that only work easily in wet fresh wood. Never seen these projects boiled in saltwater but it may be a perfectly appropriate thing to do. Usually the carved pieces are stored with the wood shavings for a while to slowly dry to lessen the possibility of cracking, then final finishing cuts are made.
Good ide👍
Now you will be able to buy Kuksas made in China....in your local Walmart
Deus abençoe vocês gratidão irmão valeu a dica MG moeda gratidão Brasil
👍🏻👍🏻👌👌❤️❤️
What does the saltwater boil do to the wood?
I have the same question
Scratch that, it is answered above. It's for hardening the wood and making it difficult to break.
It also leeches out the tannins in the wood, which can give an "off" taste in your beverage. There will be noticable cracks during this process. They should retract once dried properly.
Hand carved by Hitachi. Love the safety boots :-)
