  • Hey guys , we have had a few questions regarding the remaining hamster. Unfortunately due to the owner not wanting it to be given up we had to leave it. The owner was not in the same country, so we had to get permission from the homeowner. She honestly did not want to make the home owner upset, so she told us that we could not take that one hamster. Which we have to respect for legal reasons. Unfortunately, not all animals can be helped. That is the sad reality. We did contact to RSPCA if they could take the last one because it didn’t need veterinary treatment, and the owner was not willing to give them treatment from how they were talking. We do not have any of the hamsters any more from this rescue. They were all rehomed and taken elsewhere. I will not be naming the rescue that they went to mainly to keep them safe from the owner. I could not have done this rescue without the help of three other people , all credit goes to them. This is just a documentation of what happened. Thank you ❤️ We try to stick to small rescues , if anybody does one to support us, these are our links. www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/330O04DCTXK8T?ref_=wl_share Payp@l / claireholl@hotmail.co.uk

  • This is literally disgusting. How can people do this to any creature?? My second hamster I got was from local pet smart, she had a neurological issue and it was obvious from the cage she was in so I bought her to provide her a place to be safe in ❤ your work is wonderful, I hope that man never gets any more privileges, at that point it’s not an obsession or simply just hoarding. There’s something majorly wrong with his mind. Thank you for saving them, new sub.

    • No shame in buying from a pet shop if you have no other options but also sometimes there are regular people looking to rehome their animals online if you're ever looking for another one. That's how I got both my dog and guinea pigs lol

And the majority of the time if you talk to the people that are selling them they will give them for free. But some people are not aware of this beforehand

    @lover-wn6dy@lover-wn6dy3 ай бұрын
    • Hi, so metal cages are not bad. They are only bad if your hamster is bar biting and bar climbing/and if there bellow the minimum! 😊 I’ve never actually experienced stress in my hamsters while in barred cages because they are fully enriched , we provide a barless cage for all females as they are fussy. I definitely would recommend researching on hamster’s as this is quite misleading to say

  • It it really sad that keeping hamsters in tiny cages like that, with minimal bedding, is legal and common practice in the UK and other countries. We claim to have good animal welfare, but then this treatment of animals is still allowed. Both of my hamsters were rescued from tiny cages; my Robo was living in a tank the size of a shoebox and my Syrian from a cage the size of about 30x30cm. So depressing.
