    • You actually described SW19 Wimbledon . Not the AO. They have a dreadful match structure. Medvedev had a match at 11.15 pm and it finished close to 4.am, thats really crap, for any athlete who has a structured training regime. No wonder he was exhausted. This has happened more at the AO than any other major. They should be more considerate regarding this considering where the tournament is on the tennis map. So this year they added a day. So not 14 but 15 days…

    • It's very simple, indeed. He was quite tired. Dani played much more hours to get to the final than Yan. In the 4th and 5th set Sinner was clearly fresher and more motivated

  • Crazy tournament - the first time Nadal, Djokovic or Federer hasn't played in the final in 18 years - Some huge fightbacks in the latter stages and a massive upset against Djokovic in the semi's, and Medvedev getting a taste of his own medicine in the final

  • If Medvedev lives in Monte Carlo, why doesn't he play under the French flag? Why doesn’t Medvedev completely abandon Russia, which has discredited itself? This is not decent. Wise China and Italy comply with international laws. They also respect England. But Russia does not comply with international laws, it does not respect England. But Russia loves to profit from the English game. This is unfair. Let Russia play in tournaments together with its satellites Iran and North Korea. But Medvedev should choose a flag, especially he respects the British.

    • Capisco la tua ironia ma ti ricordo che era andato in Liguria a 13/14 anni a scuola di tennis. San Candido è territorio italiano anche se è bilingue e tutti gli atleti (principalmente sciatori) di quelle zone sono felici di gareggiare per il tricolore. Un esempio Dorothea Wierer.😊
