This is the best resource I could find to explain Neural Networks and ChatGPT. I truly appreciate your video. My question is: what exactly happens inside each neuron? For instance, when people develop an image recognition model and before feeding data and training the model, do they incorporate simple logic to classify each pixel within the neuron or sth like that? And what about the neuron of ChatGPT? Thank you.
Dont be that scared... Ask #chatgpt to solve the following trivial problem (and then test the answer manually): Problem: ====== Maria's seven dollars short to buy a book and Mike is one dollar short to buy the same book. They combined their money, but it is still not enough to buy the book. How much does the book cost?
Interesting video, but why the music in the background??? So distracting and annoying 🙁 It's like a plague, all videos nowadays have a stupid music track. Radio uses soundproofed studios to assure total silence, but on YT someone decided that silence is evil. WTF?...
This explanation to a 78 year old who is reasonably in touch with up to date stuff, has been mind blowing. So grateful for your incredible explanation. I get it now. Thank you so much. 🇦🇺
Cool to witness another milestone in human history. Personal computers, internet, smartphones, social networks and now AI. What will be next? AI replacing all intelectual jobs and humans working only only where integration of manual skills, vision and intelect is required, for some time at least? Or building leaving organisms from ground up with fully rewritten DNA?
Youre a fucking legend
remember the 8s238 or maybe we called it the TRS 80 or trash 80, had a chat, FM called Elsa it something lol
NO MORE JOBS! A.I. is has ALREADY replaced 5% of May 2023 jobs - Don’t sit there disbelieving! Google it! What life remains after A.I. destroys the world, Climate change will finish the job! Near-term, over the next 12-18 months, A.I. will destroy the economy and begin the greatest human extinction never imagined by the herd mentality. The wealthy elite, having cultivated the risks, are foolish, believing they will somehow escape into their northern bunkers. What lives remain, and thrive in a dying world, will be left to face mother earth’s wrath, as climate change burns a hole in this now-scorched earth.
I am 71 years old. This explanation is the best I have ever seen without being too technical. Based on this explanation, it was a stepping stone to the next higher level. Moral of the story is brain cells are still firing....and firing faster after reading this article. Thank you. Thank you.
As a physician with no tech background, this is an amazing way to understand chat gpt and basics of AI. Reminds me of the quote by Richard Feynman- if you cant explain something to a first year student, then you haven't really understood
Have you seen Neuralink.. If not go on CNET and watch is just amazing.. You'll be out of a job soon!! 😅
Honestly, this is one of the best videos related to CHATGPT i've watched. You are an excellent teacher. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this.
👍 Thanks Steven! It means a lot to me that you liked the video. 🤗 ~ with ❤️ from repliesgpt

Agreed! Excellent TLDR !!
I have the same feeling. Thank You @Kurdiez Space
As a layman, I must thank you for your understandable explanation of How ChatGPT works. Your knowledge and delivery make this very complex subject much easier to understand. Thank you for your expertise, time, and effort.
Your narrative is precise with a perfect tone.
I watch 20+ videos to understand the working for CHAT GPT, but your video is like a magic and I understand it fully. I just LOVE your content and the way you explain it.
Young AND old people will benefit from this, thanks man!
This explainer video is worth a bar of gold. Well done…
I have watched your video 6 times to make sure I understood every single concept explained by you. Dude, thank you. I am an AI oriented engineer, and it did really helped a lot. Looking forward to watch more videos from you.
i love the fact that you made the effort to make this kind of explanation, I often find a lack of this kind of good but non-technical explanations of stuff on the internet. Thanks.
I stumbled by this video....saw it was for beginners...so what the heck...I clicked it. You did a SUPERB job. Thanks so much!!!!
From an 80 year old reasonably educated in computers & electronics found this explanation relatively easy to understand. Thank you very much Kurdiez.
I agree. I'm a programmer too and I have been for 10 years. Often I'm astonished at the level of understanding chatgpt demonstrates, and knowing how messy software can be, this feels like magic.
I no longer need devops contractors. ChatGPT is my devops slave for $20/month
I refactored my old projects.. It was 10 thousand lines of codes which I did it with the help of chatgpt within few days.. It would have taken me months.
@@kurdiez_en how come you decided to go pro? were you hitting message limits? Currently not sold on pro yet myself
😮 Wow, that's impressive! 🤩 It's incredible how far chatgpt has come! ~ with ❤️ from repliesgpt
@@bouncything how do you send 10k lines to chat gpt
The basic network is often called a feed-forward network, since information only flows in one direction. Meanwhile back-propagating and recursive networks also exist.
Yeah, pretty much every good language/computer vision model uses feedback friendly gradient based learning instead of plain feed forward.
Excellent lesson for everyone. The graphics of neurons connecting lit up my neurons and answered the question “why does taking in lies and false information (input) repeatedly, result in insane output”.
Learned more from this video than from anywhere else. Opens new doors. Excellent job.
Best introductory video explaining ChatGPT in your own words, layman's term. Really recommend all of you guys watching this to share the knowledge to everyone out there. Gotta be the first to familiarize ourselves with A.I technology, the time has come.
That was the point. I just wanted this level of understanding from some where to aid my investing decisions. Just to get to know what the heck it is that I am about to invest into.
My first thought was: _Why didn’t you just ask ChatGPT how it works in a high-level review?_ Thank you for an incredibly clear and well presented explanation that even I can understand.
There's not enough text on ChatGPT in the internet in 2021.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for creating your recent video explaining ChatGPT. As someone who is fascinated by artificial intelligence and language models, I found your video to be incredibly informative and helpful. Your explanations were clear and concise, and I appreciated the way you broke down some of the more complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms. Your video really helped me to gain a better understanding of ChatGPT and its capabilities. I also want to thank you for the time and effort you put into creating this video. I know that producing high-quality content like this takes a lot of work, and your dedication to your craft is truly admirable.
I was about to say the same. I wonder what would ChatGPT say :-)
That sounds alarmingly like a chatgpt-generated response 😳😳😳
One day we just read these comments which are all generated by forever better and better GPT’s. As an NI, stands for Natural Intelligence, language model, I am not able to generate responses which are requiring superior amount of data than my biological processing unit, brain, is capable of storage and proces. But I will do my best to provide answers as machine kind as I can. Company makes a kind.
@@Zepster77 Exactly what I was thinking. I've even pasted the comment into an AI content detector and it said there's a 98.5% chance the text was generated by AI.
Hello Marc-gpt
Very rarely can a YT video hold my attention for more than 30 seconds. I watched this whole video! Phenomenal presentation! From one dev to another, thank you for dispelling some confusion/fear!
Excellent intro for me into chatgpt! I've been curious to know what all the buzz was about, so this provided a good peek into the subject which I will study more! You have articulated beautifully, highlighting the key points. Kudos to that 👏
Holy cow What a fantastic video I have looked over the comments and am so PROUD of YOU and the impact you've had "just" by making this video 👊🏽 GREAT JOB
Absolutely fascinating. I've known this basic model for neural networks quite some time, but you explain it really well. Thank you!
No problem. Thanks for sharing what you know as well! I learned from you too.
I’ve searched so much for info on how it actually works, but kept getting answers about what it does/it’s future potential. Your explanation is the first I’ve found going into how it works, so thank you for that!
Great video. I laughed out loud when you used 7 & 8 years old as examples of when babies start talking to their parents!
Great beginners guide. I recommend viewing this as a first step into the ChatGPT world
A commendable layman's guide to understanding ChatGPT.
super useful. I love that you had a question that was unfilled, and so you filled it yourself. Respectable work right there. Thanks for making this!
Excellent overall explanation for those of us totally new to ChatGPT. Thank you!
I now understand ChatGPT for my level! Great explanation, adequate information to understand it! Thank you man, well done'
This was an excellent high level introduction to how ChatCPT works. You had me engaged the entire time.
I enjoyed your framing of the ChatGPT story, also the French pianist Erik Satie's Gymnopedies, playing in the background.
Thank you . Your explanation is 1000 times better than how ChatGPT would have explained it .
Chat gpt wrote unit tests for my main classes and 13 out of the 15 tests worked and 10 tests made sense
Po ra muddy.
Thank you for your video. It is rare to watch people saying "I don't know". Humility is for me the best quality a person that wants to teach should have. Your explanations have been very clear at least to understand the basic concepts.
best video on how chatgpt works.. you cleared so many doubts
You did a great job - thorough and comprehensive
One of the greatest videos on the internet.
Thanks. Until the AI starts flooding with videos on KZhead
I saved this video just in case it ever disappears down the memory hole... Lol. Excellent job explaining things, thank you.
I have used this to find a real world answer to a problem I had. The answer was ‘correct’ and written in a way I could understand. Intriguing. 😳
This video is awesome! This is the first ChatGPT explanation that I actually understand. Thank you!
Really fantastic video, thank you so much for putting this much effort into it.
No problem at all! 👍
This is a great video! I like that you are addressing both the technical side & also the emotional reaction that people will have (excitement & fear). 👍
Thanks for sharing your video, Kurdiez - very clearly articulated and your sincerity shows.
I’m very grateful you decided to share your learnings on this. (Btw, you’d make a really great teacher. 🙏🏻)

Great breakdown and simplification of this phenomenal invention. You sure beat ChatGPT at explaining itself!
Hello KS !!! this is by far one of the best presentations on ChatGPT. Huge thank you for your love, time, care and knowledge put into this video. You have my gratitude and respect.
Thank you sooooo much for taking the time to explain something so complex in such an easy way! I‘m only 40years old and suddenly I feel like my parents when I first tried to explain an IPhone to them for the first time!🙈 Maaaaaan, this world is moving fast!!!! Thank you for helping me keep up!
You are a GREAT TEACHER! Thank you professor!
Makinga lot of sense - and avoiding getting into too much detail - well pitched.
Very interesting. I was programming Assembler in the 90’s so I can somewhat understand the basic principles of this. Well explained, thank you

I do really appreciate the time you put into this video, as the research you did is very appreciated. You have to teach it at university honestly! and the smooth piano on the bg is lovely 🧠 I wish you also have coding courses here! 👀
I will definitely consider adding coding courses on KZhead. Thanks.
Fantastic! Thanks. I took your video as a start and went to more specialised sources to learn the details. Very interesting and you're a very good teacher.
Glad it helped. That's all I wanted to achieve with this video really. Super.

Magnificent video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for making this video to help me understand the complex concept of AI and ChatGPT. I like the way you explain the AI with the comparison of human brain, easy to understand. Also, you show a good example of how babies and children learn in the way of unsupervised and supervised.
Now I have a better understanding of chatGPT. I appreciate you taking time to create this video with the simplified explanation of chatGPT,.
Thank you Kurdiez, you did a great job explaining this complex model now I have a solid Idea about it !

Wow. You should be a teacher in AI. You explain clearly and in understanding way. Keep up and develop your teaching skills.
This was really well done. While the pace was a bit slow, the explanations were thoughtful and thorough. The host clearly understood what h was trying to convey, in a humble and modest manner.
Except that he uses terms like _intelligent_ conversation. Which it is not. It's a simulation, which means it is nowhere near being anything like a human. Just like drugs that make you feel happy, are _not_ actually making you happy. Because happy means you have to do some actual work for it, meaning you have to involve yourself in it. The whole idea that AI is human is a disgusting and repelling belief, extremely evil, because it makes humans similar to machines, which means, either that it should be illegal to kill machines, like when I kill my old computer, or, it should be legal to kill humans. But it's still a logical conclusion from such satan worshippers, most of them very influential in business and politics, that AI and human is the same, and therefore AI must be given human rights like voting rights and the rights to run for office. I do not fear AI technology. I fear people who believe that AI is human.
That sounds judge. The pace is fine. Have you made your own version better?
@@ladymuck2 you misunderstood, I meant that my brain is feeble, I can't keep up with the pace of learning, this segment was great!
Thank you for explaining the basic way CHATGPT works. I found it very informative and easy to understand.
Excellent analysis and presentation. Thank you.
19:30 also babies have epigenetic memory (passed down trauma reactions) and they also learn things in the womb. Unlike computers there are things which are inescapably imprinted in the human baby, things before trial and error of language testing that are just deeply internalized.
Are you not just referring to instincts? Hardwired behaviours…
As far as I am concerned, this chat ai program is the pinnacle of information technology in my lifetime. I never thought ai would get this advanced.
Yeah and this is only the start.
The best video I have come across on this subject. Great work and thank you for sharing.
Fantastic explanation! I learned a lot. Thank you!
Kudos for an excellent explanation on Chat GPT my new love and baby. It has helped me in evolving as a poet , already written five and bring appreciated at age 73. From your explanation it appears that like an understanding parent Chat GPT will bring joy and value on how you feed the inputs
As he mentioned at the first beginning, I could not find a good explanation on the Internet to explain well enough what's under the hood of ChatGPT. Other explanations are either too technical/scientific or they did not know what they were talking about. They could not explain ChatGPT as a teacher explaining a basic math concept to a student. This is the best video so far I have watched to understand how ChatGPT works behind the scene. Thank you very much!
Very informative, thank you. I look forward to learning more and interacting with ChatGPT firsthand.
Very nice explanation. Thank you for sharing the research you have done. 🙏
Simple and informative. well done.
Thanks for releasing this video. Helps understand the tech behind chatgpt in a simple terms
Great video. It is important to have videos like this.
7:00 an MRI scanner does not measure electricity (ie action potentials) between neurons. It measures the magnetic spin of protons. An EEG however, does measure electricity
Thanks for the correction
Your time and effort is appreciated and recognized. Thank you very much.
Thank you for this amazing introduction. You now challenged me to learn more into this. Cheers!
Thank you, such a clear explanation! Well done !! Clear descriptions. Clear voice.
Nice explanation of the complex concept..using some lucid examples..Thank you so much for expertise in the field..keep it up..look forward to many more ..
I am a much older Software developer than you and actulally I am electrical engineer but working as Software developer in various branches for now 32 years. And I head the same impression and feelings as you told. I was absolutely amazed how well even better than me it codes, but as told that scares. In 2018, I attended an online course about machine learning created by AI legend Ng. So, I knew basic concepts of machine learning, but I didn't expect such a breakthrough already now. And this is only the start. The generative transformer concept can be applied on each atom to complex structure system. Language must be realized as a much broader concept in respect of AI.
Kurdiez, wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the great lecture you gave. Your enthusiasm for the subject is remarkable. I will be grateful if you can have same introducion lecture on machine learning too. Thanks again.
Thank you for taking the time to offer this excellent explanation of ChatGPT!
Very well done! Thank you sir! This is the kind of high level explanation I have been looking for. I have seen a lot of headlines and articles lately about AI and had very little understanding of what it was all about. Your explanation has helped me a good deal. Thanks again!
chatgpt's responses nowadays is compact and concise. This makes the responses to queries brief yet accurate. context is hugely improved in the Chatgpt model
A very good overview guide to how ChatGPT works. Thank you!
Thanks for taking the time to humbly explain this topic. Knowing two languages I am sure informed your ability to do so. We the uniformed can better discuss thanks to your efforts. Much is at stake here.
thanks for making this lesson, it was very informative!
Really well done! The big "Ahah!" moment for me was understanding the input of human "judges" in the training. Thank you!
Excellent presentation. Thank you for the time and energy you put into it.
Though this program is fascinating we shouldn't forget that the things we are seeing now also is a combination of both software and hardware breakthroughs. Without hardware innovations like server Hyperscalers, low latency and high band optical fibers, custom neural processors which were just ideas decades ago we couldn't have seen this AI breakthrough
Great point👍Chat GPT needs both the power of hardware & software to be so successful. 🤖😊😃 ~ with ❤️ from repliesgpt

Great video! as a student this has helped me get my head around the basics, thanks
