I never liked small dogs until I finally got one. Had a chihuahua mix named Ralf for 17 years. Amazed me how much attitude could come from such a little thing. He wasn’t afraid of anyone or anything. RIP little buddy.

I promise swear I am not making this up, please be careful... I didn't wanna write such here but was driven... Chihuahuas were bread to chase rats out of deer pipes in Chihuahua, Mexico not Rottys from yards.

@@lawrencesinyard7660 thank you for your thoughtfulness, and I agree. ❤️ My chihuahua has been in Heaven for a number of years now, he was almost 16 and I had him from a puppy. 🐶 That particular rotty belonged to neighbours across the road, and he was a gentle soul. 😅 I used to have a harness on him when I was out walking with him, so that I could instantly lift him into my arms if there were threats from other bigger dogs. I also had a bigger dog at the same time. I currently have a large dog. ❤️

@@GypsyGirl317 oh it just tore me up and almost gave me a complex for a few years after... Yeah, my Onyx , I hope, is waiting in the pearly gates, or a rendition of her. She was what they now call a Spanador, half lab and cocker. I could point up in the sky behind her and she would turn around and look up. Taught to catch a cheezeit off her nose and she almost got it on the 3rd try and then the 7th or 8 t H she dod. Beyond smart. My mothers maid screamed aloud one day and Onyx flew in their and STRAIGHT to the spider and killed it, 2 or 3 seconds from 50 ft away in her perch overlooking the property. Now I got my Lou man chu, aka Coon paw McGraw, lol, who is a fist with her near same build with a born stub tail and looks pit and rat terrier and he is pretty durn smart too due to curiosity and analyzing. He is my life! I wouldn't be here if the Lord hadn't put him in my life which I am now so grateful

What a precious little bean, I hope he learns to share lol. Really missing my chihuahua pup named Loki. Had him for a couple years when I was finishing high school and working my first job and did my very best to take care of him, but my parents got sick of him and gave him away without my consent. As far as I know he's somewhere in New Jersey. I pray all the time that he's happy, healthy and getting all the love and snuggles he deserves.

chis are very possessive, even with their humans. my grandma had a tiny one, he had been with her for ages. when my grams got sick a nurse would come and administer meds at home. the dog would hide in her robe and when the nurse would lift her arm to take her blood pressure doggo would jump out and attack! it got to a point the nurse would ask were he was hidding and throw a towel over him. when my grandma passed her and the dog became such good friends she asked to keep him.

What a gorgeous, angry little gnat! 🤣🤣🤣 We loved our girl and miss her terribly now that she’s gone. Her favourite place was snuggling in my father’s jacket with just her little face peeking out. She weighed only 1.3 kilograms fully grown. She was tiny but still the boss of all the other dogs in our family.

I wouldn't pick up an angry Chihuahua speaking from experience, I'd prefer the pitbull. Chihuahuas, due to their size, enter MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE easily where they literally will bite at every direction, at anyone, with everything they have at once. Chihuahuas are still dogs , and dogs bite HARD.

@@theresawelch5761 Not always, but they tremble of excitement or fear, so when they arrive in a new place or meet new dogs or new people, they might tremble. The rest of the time no. But this can vary a little based on your dog's personality. I have a shy Chihuahua, he doesn't like novelty, so he trembles a lot. But he is super calm, quiet, and never aggressive even when scared. They are always great loving dogs if you raise them properly and respect them.

Keith Price My same thoughts. If you are honest and say "Chihuahua puppy making tiny tantrum to parents" would still have sounded funny and cute. I have a dog and I know here happens nothing at all! There are also people saying he would have jumped off and break his bones and I am like 1. He is not that high 2. There is a dog making him angry and can use it to land 3. Chihuahuas likely make a drama out of anything. The tittle is absolutely unnecessary.

I also had a bigger dog at the same time. I currently have a large dog. ❤️

She was what they now call a Spanador, half lab and cocker. I could point up in the sky behind her and she would turn around and look up. Taught to catch a cheezeit off her nose and she almost got it on the 3rd try and then the 7th or 8 t H she dod. Beyond smart. My mothers maid screamed aloud one day and Onyx flew in their and STRAIGHT to the spider and killed it, 2 or 3 seconds from 50 ft away in her perch overlooking the property. Now I got my Lou man chu, aka Coon paw McGraw, lol, who is a fist with her near same build with a born stub tail and looks pit and rat terrier and he is pretty durn smart too due to curiosity and analyzing. He is my life! I wouldn't be here if the Lord hadn't put him in my life which I am now so grateful

What a precious little bean, I hope he learns to share lol. Really missing my chihuahua pup named Loki. Had him for a couple years when I was finishing high school and working my first job and did my very best to take care of him, but my parents got sick of him and gave him away without my consent. As far as I know he's somewhere in New Jersey. I pray all the time that he's happy, healthy and getting all the love and snuggles he deserves.

chis are very possessive, even with their humans. my grandma had a tiny one, he had been with her for ages. when my grams got sick a nurse would come and administer meds at home. the dog would hide in her robe and when the nurse would lift her arm to take her blood pressure doggo would jump out and attack! it got to a point the nurse would ask were he was hidding and throw a towel over him. when my grandma passed her and the dog became such good friends she asked to keep him.
