I got the game for christmas when I first got my Switch five years ago. The game is absolutely beautiful and nostalgic. It's been five years and I still remember this game. If Nintendo announces a sequel to this wonderful game, I'll jump up and down with joy and happy tears in my face. Happy five year anniversary Super Mario Odyssey. I'll remember the good times with you and I always will.

I first got this game Christmas Day 2017. I beat the main story mode in 4 days with about 165 moons. About a week later, I got to dark side and beat the Robo Broodal. A month later I got to Darker Side of the moon and spent about 2 weeks trying to beat it (I was only 11 years old at the time). After beating it, I took a break for the game, though I’m not really sure why. I came back at the beginning of quarantine in 2020 and was immediately reminded of how much fun I had back when I first got the game. For the next month and a half, I went from the 503 power moons that I had after first beating darker side, to getting all 880 collectible story moons, got 999 power moons, found and spent all purple coins in every kingdom to get all stickers and models for the Odyssey, got all costumes, and fully 100% beat the game. I had never felt so accomplished. During December 2020, I even went back to do the infinite jump rope glitch to get 99,999 jumps in the metro kingdom jump rope minigame. This is one of my favorite mainline Mario games, and still holds a special place in my heart. It was the most hype I’ve ever had for a video game.
That’s crazy. I 100% this game about a year after I got it in 2019 and then I took a break from it and now I still play it and do speedruns and challenges and trickjumps. There is truly so much to do in this game.
Super Mario Odyssey was amazing. The graphics were beautiful, the game play is amazing, and all the enemies and worlds you visit are spectacular.
I seriously can’t wait for the releases of this game!! I haven’t been more excited for a game since mario 64! Thank you Nintendo!!

Hatsune Candy Mario 64 is still fine today. So many people still play it. You can just start a new file, complete it and then start again because its sooo much fun. I strongly disagree with your opinion of "it didnt hold up very well".
Forever a classic trailer, I love revisiting this 6 years later to remember when I was 17 and how excited I was for the release of this game.
I am now 17 and I remember playing this game when it first came out. It’s been a big part of my childhood and will forever be one of my fav games of all time
