Eva Mendes has no regrets about stepping away from acting to focus on being a mom. During a rare interview on the 'Today' show, the actress opened up about her decision to focus on raising her kids while her partner, Ryan Gosling, continued his acting career. Eva and Ryan have two daughters, Esmeralda and Amada.
Filler is a killer of beauty. This trend is barking mad and needs to end when naturally gorgeous people think they need it.
I fully agree. And Ryan is going the same way as Eva. His cheeks are very swollen and big. He's ruining his face. And was I shocked to see he was wearing eyeliner at the Oscars? His hair isn't good either, I prefer Ryan with gelled hair, the Ivy League style from before it was charming and clean, his natural blonde was perfect too. I hope he stops, it's not good for his career

@@AzizaPoggiworld I don't think it's necessarily celebrities; they just have more money and public-facing jobs to see their procedures. I believe it's the fact that with more tools offered to humans (namely social media), there's an evolving and expansive market for unethical people/companies to capitalise on a) inventing things to be insecure about and b) offering the "solution". Being bombarded with this imagery and internalising it works like any other advertising, but much worse because it targets the human psyche.

Kinda shocked to see Eva jumping on the filler/plastic surgery bandwagon. She is Such a beauty. I rather see the celebrities I love rocking their wrinkles and aging gracefully than to see them slowly becoming this unrealistic, grotesque version of themselves as they age.

I love celebrities that aren’t movie stars or work in entertainment as well. Loving and appreciating a celebrity is just that, appreciation. Appearance doesn’t have anything to do with it. At least not in my case.

I saw a Gosling interview where he said she stopped acting so she can take care of her brother and now her mother whom both had cancer. Either way I commend her for quitting. Seems selfless and very supportive and if you have the means to do so, why the hell not. Kudos to her💞

@@kant.68I’m a Latina and yes it is ingrained in us since we are young but Ryan doesn’t seem to be that person so it may be her own personal choice. Hearing the reasoning she is very blessed to have the resources and a good partner to support her decision. I’d love to be a SAHM when I have kids but financially idk if it is possible.
@@kant.68 Who knows? I'm really not into celebrity personal lives but I've been in a similar situation having to quit my career of 22 years to take care of a family member with a terminal illness. When I made that decision my husband understood and was very supportive. It could be as simple as that.
Bad decision, the only way to get fulfillment in life is to slave away for corporation.
@@kant.68 Leaving work, if financially possible, to care for ill family members is not always about socialization and/or patriarchal values, but also about a deep love and understanding that not everything is about ourselves and that we can't put ourselves first every single time. Love is a verb, caring for a loved one in their hour of need when we have the money, the disposition, and support is a way to reciprocate the love and care we received from our loved ones.

You know, the one thing I wish Hollywood would do is start embracing peoples natural aging the fact that so many talented people feel the need to go over-the-top, with plastic surgery or fillers or Botox just to stay youthful is unfair, it is a privilege to get older, and not all of us get to get older; Hollywood needs to start embracing that fact. And stop being so superficial. Quite frankly, forcing that on its talent is a horrible practice that needs to be done and over with like decades ago, you’re not gonna tell me otherwise

Eva is one of the most beautiful women in the movies to me. I'm not ragging on her at all. She's still stunning. But I hope she stops before her face looks unnatural. It's obvious she had some botox or fillers, face-lift or so here. She don't need to do these things at all. I don't get why the obsession in Hollywood. :( I'm glad I never done any work or injections for tighter skin. When I see celebs do this to themselves I feel content with My 48 yr old face that is aging naturally but gracefully. These celebs stop me from getting fillers. Because society doesn't mind the absence of a father in the name "providing" but condemns, pressures and bullies women into quitting their career and hobbies and doing something that is "in her nature" all while not providing any help to her with children either.

It’s good that women are expected to stay home with their children, especially during the kids’ youngest years. Our constitution used to recognize that mothers have a special place in the home (while not ONLY in the home) but feminism (and capitalism) dissolved this.

Are you seriously NOT seeing how her cheekbones are clearly "enhanced" in a very unnatural way? Only ten years ago she was 40, and she looked ridiculously stunning and natural. Now, she is still a beautiful woman, but I am not blind. Her face has certainly been filled with crap, and she seems to be on her way to Madonna/Cher territory looks-wise. For comparison's sake, look at Jennifer Lopez, another Latina star, who is 5 years older than Eva, but whose face still looks natural (and stunningly beautiful). Interview for “damage control” after the article posted a few days ago about a possible “crisis” in their relationship. Honestly, everything is weird about them. I see famous couples who are reserved like Emily and John, Mark and Sunrise etc… but they are always together at award shows, they kiss and you never read speculation about them. People respect them and leave them alone. With Eva and Ryan it's different, the more Ryan stays closed in this world with Eva, doesn't interact with colleagues and returns home as she said, more people want to question and create rumors, he gives a very negative image about his relationship. And this seems to worry Eva a lot, because she is always the one to explain the reason. It seems to me that Ryan, despite being talented and funny, is a very enigmatic and strange person, I believe he has unresolved problems and childhood traumas... he seems trapped.

Ignore the comments below, you are very perceptive. She seems to struggle with being on the sidelines while Ryan's career is blowing up, him having the time of his life on sets and being surrounded by gorgeous younger women. Hence the fillers and posting and saying things to remind people (and him) that she's still his wife and gave up a lot to be his support. Blade runner 2049… Not many times a follow up movie to an original is as good and even better than the original. Everyone in that movie was amazing. Robin Wright was the perfect fit for her role as was Sylvia Hoeks. But Gangster Squad and The Big Short were amazing Gosling roles as well. Hard to say which I like most.
