I'm forever grateful to Graham Norton for unlocking Gosling's perfect comedic timing displayed in these clips, and to Shane Black for unleashing it in The Nice Guys.
I really wish they would do a second Nice Guys movie. The first one was and still is so fun to watch.

Ryan’s timing is impeccable. Add to it those fantastic facial expressions and his “shy” attitude and he comes out a winner every time. I have seen most of these stories multiple times and each time I laugh and just want to get to know him personally. His career will be timeless.

I am friends with Ryan's uncle, and I can confirm every detail about his Elvis story. He's spectacular and his uncle loves Ryan so much, he even carries around a little picture of him as a boy in his wallet.

Ryan seems pretty good about giving up his stories But, what I dislike in general about celebrity talk-show guests is that they're all completely vetted and ready for questions before appearing on shows. Yet, so many of them fain that fake surprised look to the show's host, like, "What are you talking about?," when they're asked so many of the questions they get asked. It's all just so much b.s.
Everyone loves Ryan. He was AWESOME IN SIX. IVE SEEN IT TWICE ON NETFLIX AND PLAN ON SEEING IT AGAIN

All the “funny” stories Ryan G tells if delivered by other actors, even comedians, will not come out funny. It’s HIM that brings out the “funny” reactions from viewers- maybe because it’s unexpected that he be such a “comedian” without even trying. Just love him for that.

I don’t know why but I really hated that film when it came out. I went to the cinema to see it. Fast forward ten years watched it again just to try and understand why I hated it and I was baffled. Absolutely loved it 🤷🏻♂️ There’s one other example of this. The song sunscreen by Baz lurhman. In my 20’s I would change the station if it came on. In my late 30’s I started to appreciate it now brings a tear to my eye hearing it it’s so relatable
@@xgreenjacket Sometimes a film doesn’t really have that impact on you when you first see it. It takes a second or third view to gain a different perspective on the same film. I had that with The Full Monty watching it at the cinema in 1997. I just couldn’t see what all the fuss was about but having seen it a few times on tv since, I have a different outlook on that movie and appreciate its humour, simplicity and the storyline.
@@jlk760 that’s true but I guess what was the surprising thing to me (and obviously you wouldn’t know this).Is that I’m really open minded when it comes to films. I’ll watch anything or give anything a chance, and I’m usually pretty decided even after multiple viewings. So it was a real surprise to me that I felt different. I know what you mean though, I generally get that effect more with music than with films. But yeah I agree. With your first comment it’s a great movie I think the hype was more to do with the score at the time and I wasn’t really into that kind of music so maybe that was the problem. It’s interesting to see how vastly your tastes can change the cool thing is the music and the movie still hold up now even though it was meant to be edgy and on trend. I think my other favourite performance is crazy stupid love. So slick and the outfits were so sharp!

Ryan made Meryl Streep a winner in this show. Like she needs it, you might think, because she's legendary, but sometimes it's rough at the top. Ryan told a lovely story that honored his mother and our legend. How graceful! A real gentleman.
Meryl knew ALL about Weinstein. She is not this great person…that is all a carefully constructed facade.

I live in the US & can't find anyone else who streams that show currently - even tho they were old I watched every episode in about 2 days (I want to say it was season two or three at best) - i am addicted to Greg Davies humor now, thanks for the info regardless. Graham Norton really gives you a chance To see other signs of celebrities and to see how they get along with the others on the couch.. It irritates me that they no longer do this except on James Cordon. I'd like to see see guests interact.
Used to do this on Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Guests would stay on as new guests came on.

Ryan is a treat storyteller. Cracks me up with his dry whit. The dance number was lol. I've seen almost all of his films and I recommend most of them. He did some really good work when he was in his 20's.

I've watched most of Ryan's films and I think he's a wonderful actor and storyteller. In the clip where he's wearing something around his neck, it's the name tag of his dog, George, who died. He took George on Fallon one night with an apple. He'd bite off pieces and feed them to George.
