This is crap. All WandaVision accomplished was to create a villain out of a slow descent into disassociative disorder. 4 hours of silliness interspersed with 1 hour of intrigue? Could have been done in a tighter story OR more flesh in the current format.
well we did had a character that already existed, and they fucked him and his potential up like they did the Mandarin in Iron Man 3.

The directors said that the VILLAIN in WandaVision is “grief”, and if you accepted this you could realize in the end she defeated this villain and completed the storyline in this show and left enough foundation to become the face of MCU in the new phase.

Reasons why I loved every episode of wandavision and had no disappointments 1) Any theory I had was only based on the evidence I was presented with during the show. Also I actively didn’t let myself get too wild with theories 2) I allowed myself to be taken in by the story and go for the ride. 3) this show actually served to give you the backstory to Wanda and show you her grief after the death of her love and how powerful the emotion of grief is 4) the show is pure gold

"It was a show about Wanda and Vision" is an important statement to us fans. So many of the things we'd have liked would have taken away from their story. And since it centered on and wrapped up their story, I'm perfectly satisfied to imagine the movies will pick up and connect things.

@@BlockyNinjaVidz Disney+ currently has over 100 million subscribers, so to argue it has "a handful" of people probably isn't right. Disney+ already built a universe off the platform with The Mandalorian. To the point they approved like 10 more Star Wars (!!!) shows, and just 1 feature film. Its somewhat genius in the sense if you build a universe on the platform, then anyone who possibly cares will get onto the platform to enjoy it. It doesn't need to work the other way around, and will keep working as long as people don't leave the platform due to lack of content they enjoy. This doesn't mean you MUST have Disney+ to follow along, but at this point Disney+ is focusing so heavily on the platform, it probably will become the main way to enjoy this stuff in the future.
Actually merchandise sold from tv shows dwarfs the film profit. I believe Disney+ was designed to specifically corner the new merch market
Wandavision took another way of making. Most marvel movies focused on fights and CGI and other stuff while wandavision gave more importance to dialogues. Every dialogue has more importance than everyone imagine. No , I don't mean marvel movies have bad scripting or dialogues but the greater playtime helped marvel to establish characters better in wandavision.
To be fair Wandavision did end with like 3 separate CGI fights

Yes thank you!!! I think WandaVision as whole nailed it!! I mean in my own personal opinion, it was amazing story wise and they left so much to be desired and wondered upon! Which means they have so much stuff they. An pay off later in the MCU which is why I love the MCU! People have to look at it as a small piece to a greater picture!!

You’re missing a prime reason for why Dr Strange may have been on the Wandavision set: no cuts required, maybe they were filming the movie. Maybethe movie needs scenes from Westview and they needed to get them before they “struck the set”.

Idk why when it comes to the Ralf Bohner debacle, how everyone says it was like a waste of Even Peters' talent, I always think about how Evan Peters signed up for it. He seems like he has the personality type to get a kick out of trolling the audience like that. And the character still played a major role in Wandavision, they utilized his talent in this show. Also Agatha is still in Westview, and they clearly had some kind of relationship, although the dynamic is unclear. He could come back in a major way somehow, who knows?
Yes marvel knows the value of Evans Peter so they can't further use him like that there's much more to come
I think getting Evan peters to play a “rip-off quicksilver” and madripoor being a location in the mcu is just marvel tip toeing to X-men finally being in the mcu. While they can’t explicitly do it atm they give subtle hints to it.

I dont want to make up crazy theories but here I go. So at the post credit scene she is drinking coffee and her "astral form" is reading the dark hold. But if we look in to "Doctor Strange" if your astral form leaves your body, your body will not work and will fall of lie and what ever, but the thing is Wanda's body WAS WORKING. It either means she is wayyyyy stronger than we think or "The Scarlet Witch" is like a symbiot like for Jene and Dark Phoenix in the X-men universe.
I, for one, wasn't dissapointed with the ending. I thought it was exciting, clever and very, very sweet.

Maybe the Evan Peters quicksilver doesn’t mean anything, and isn’t meant to. At least not now. When Wanda gets glimpses into other universe’s, and sees another universe where Ralph Boner is Quicksilver, it’ll retroactively add meaning to the cameo. Like each person has an alternate self, similar to the DC Multiverse.

There's a lot about Ralph in Agatha's dialogue. He's got an unexplored story arc. I'm not sure Marvel is done with him, but to explore it fully with Wanda's story wasn't the right time. The hex wasn't down when his name was revealed, so I don't think that's his real name. I don't think he is X-men Peter Maximoff, but he may not be done.
I think the point of Ralph was to show that Wanda gave her brother his powers. If Wanda always had magic then the mind stone only give her mind powers and the awareness of her magic. So how does the mind stone gave someone the power of speed?

This show was a masterpiece. One of the best contents from marvel. The ending was also really satisfying.
Why is everyone saying that we didn’t get a villain tease? Wanda has every reason to turn to an antagonist to get her kids back. That was one of the earliest theories

The greatest way to make a villain is to make the audience understand their motives.
When wanda said she would learn about her powers I thought she was going to go to DR strange . And this will be a cameo.

They could have done it in a better way but naming him Ralph Bohner was just *eh* the reason why it was good in Iron Man 3 was because this whole time you think he is The Mandarin when in reality it's Aldrich Killian. Which is a good twist. But we all saw the Quicksilver thing coming not only that, they built his hype for 4 episodes (each episode a week) just to have a cliché dick joke at the very end.
I was also not disappointed, I'm actually disappointed at people being so mad at it, the thing it didn't make sense outside of all of the teasing in the series, I'm talking about marvel and their future projects, there's nothing indicating they're planning on introducing or using mutants into their mix in the foreseeable, not movies nor new series, they are rather trying to put the inhumans in the MCU with the Miss Marvel series, so rushing already with something like "OMG AVGRS x X-MEN WILL BE THE NEXT BIG THING" seems more like fans gushing with the idea.

I've read a lot of comics And I do want many of those characters to appear in the MCU But this series was about Wanda and vision I am completely satisfied with this series
Well then who is agathar... It really seemed like they just wanted to cram in some villain to make it seem better and it felt just really unnatural and unbelievable. To me it seemed like they didn't know how to resolve the plot better and this was like a last second solution to "solve" the mistorys created by the previous episodes
This was not shot week by week. It was done before it started to come out. This is the ending they had in mind and I disagree about them not knowing how to end it. It was an awesome ending. Just because everybody had their own ideas and let those ideas run wild don't blame the show, just enjoy the ride.

Yeah basically this. After the Bohner joke I was kinda distracted the rest of the episode. The original reveal of the character was amazing but it just meant I couldn't stop thinking about what it meant for the future of the mcu. Turns out for now it means nothing at all but even now I'm wondering if there was more to it. The conclusion of the characters short arc was just a bit disappointing.

From a mental health standpoint though, I did love that it was Wanda's grief or like some sort of PTSD that drove her to do the things she did. It adds humanity to her as a character. It's almost like how I felt about Killmonger in Black Panther But yeah the Bohner thing hahaha anyway props for the vids! 👏

In the scene where wanda's family vs 3 antagonist it was so similar to the scene of the movie name the incredibles and there is also a scene where wanda protected her family by a force field from the blast of agatha harkness it actually the same power of violet from the incredibles. I think they referencing it in episode 6 where there is a movie in theaters named the incredibles.
I think that the whole even peters joke is relating to the person in the witness protection program that Jimmy Woo was referring to that started the whole show. Idk just a thought
They never said who the missing person was, which drives me crazy. Jimmy woo did see "Fietro" on the broadcast and he didn't say "omg that's my missing person who'sin witness protection"... so to me it's just a huge plot hole that remains unanswered. Just like how did pietro get HIS powers? We see wanda and how she got hers but we didn't see pietro and it never says he's a "witch" also so it's like what the heck. Also, why did Wanda become all old, just like Agatha's Coven, when Agatha took her powers...but when Wanda took all of Agatha's powers, Agatha didn't turn old. It doesn't make sense

Thats not true. Vision told her Norm was suffering in episode 5. She wouldn’t listen. Quicksilver spoke to her about locking up the kids until the halloween episode and her response was, “you don’t think it’s wrong?”. She did know. She ignored it

WandaVision’s ending was definitely weakened by the fact that Multiverse of Madness not being released shortly after the finally. The ending is good for the story it was made to tell.

Well said, and the other best thing about the finale is that it still left room for most of these theories. Even if the director says something today, it doesn't mean that he's not keeping secrets from us, or that another writer in the future can't work in those characters, particularly where there is a connection to them from the comics, e.g., Mephisto. To expect them all now is overly optimistic. Enjoy the ride for what it is!
Also, the theories and speculations that were going on for wandavision was fun, I enjoyed all the possibilities and i think that shows the impact that the MCU has on us ALL. We all want the best possible stories for the characters we love. Just like Canadian Lad said, we need to be patient.

One of the things I see the most is, why didn't didn't avengers/shield step in since they are able to keep tabs on everything, now that also includes dr. Strange. I think they know about every known threat but obviously if they don't know about it they can't do anything about it. SWORD was keeping everything under wraps and the FBI was never allowed to enter so it wasn't an avenger/dr strange level threat.

The problem is not that it was not creating a big overarching plot but Agatha and quicksilver were so underwhelming, no real consciences for Wanda she was the villain of the series but they were acting as if it wasn't her fault. All in all the whole series' reason was to tell us Wanda is the scarlet witch which is really useless.

It is just cool because that is her code name in the comics. She lost her imaginary husband and her two imaginary kids. Wait let me imagine I have a Lamborghini and now I crashed it in my imagination OHHHH nooo my Lamborghini I lost it, so important. It was completely underwhelming, it was also sad that they made the army dude an unforgivable villain by shooting the kids although it would have been much more interesting if he was a strict good guy because until that episode he was in the right Wanda was torturing hundreds. But no this is marvel show some expensive action make everything as black and white as possible even if it makes no sense and we're good everyone will love it and if they don't others will tell them they "should not be disappointed with the finale"

I wasn't remotely disappointed with this episode. But I'm gonna watch any video you post after watching you since EP 1 ❤️
I wasn't disappointed. Knowing it was a sitcom, there was only ever going to be a teaser for DS2. We got that in the post credits, a preview of a greater evil we had known was coming, and it is. Wanda's grief was wrapped up, her mentor is set up, and we got to have our cake and eat it, too, with her family being erased but still existing. Even watching your videos, it was pretty easy to tell we weren't going to have a theatrical ending, just a teaser for one later. Plus you kinda get ahead of yourself with the theories, I watch because they're interesting not because I believe them. I did it, too, the theorizing is fun, but don't invest yourself in them.
Only mistake in the whole series, was basically taking the piss out of FOXS' quicksilver. Surely the actor himself must've been scratching his head reading the script.

No, the post - credit scene in Doctor strange and The original scene in Thor: Ragnarok are a lit bit different. Because they were re-shooted and you can check the difference.
I am very glad you addressed this in the manner you did. Fans as a whole are those who become invested in a story, but they do not own the story. I remember when Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was released. I was excited to finally get to see what was hinted at in the first three movies. But in my mind I pictured the movie totally different than it was actually written. Was there disappointment? Sure. I thought some of the choices were strange. But the right to tell the story was never mine. It belonged to George Lucus. But Lucus sold his company to Disney and now he has to let someone else tell the stories of Star Wars. As fans of Marvel I think we should continue to have fun speculating what might happen in a storyline. But we must learn to temper our expectations until the story is officially unfolded. I thought WandaVision was very well done. And as you said, it is a story of how a powerful woman who lost everything dealt with her grief. (I think of Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and the 5 stages of grief.) Good job Canadian Lad!
I liked everything you said except for wanda being the villain part. I expected you to be a bit more understanding but oh well, I guess this video kinda sums up how expectations lead to disappointments.

But I really think people who are disappointed are disappointed because: a) they expected something, just _something_ surprising or worth getting hyped for the future about, and b) the actors themselves went out of their way to wind fans up, especially Olsen herself saying there would be a reveal to rival Luke Skywalker's appearance at the end of the Mandalorian S2. By which, she presumably meant Evan Peters showing up, as the timing was just before that episode aired. Doesn't mean he still won't wind up doing that in the future, mind you. Not knowing what Multiverse of Madness is going to do, what WandaVision really did was at least establish that Evan Peters is a character from _this_ Earth. That said, given that the Mandarin twist in IM3 pissed fans off enough that Feige and company went out of their way to create a short to rectify the situation, maybe DON'T follow that lead in moving forward?

it was one of the coolest thing in the MCU .an origins story for Scarlet Witch . bravo to the MCU they have dealt with mental illness /grief /loss as they did with tony stark suffering with PTSD in iron man 3 it gives the characters humanity and helps normalize them
