One of the best uses of James Brown's 'The Payback' sample ever. When that beat drops at the beginning, it just feels like a party. When the hook comes in, it's like icing on a cake. This is a well-produced song. The choreography is all over the place in this video, but the harmony is on point.

Now we talk about how good it was 31yrs ago.in 2023 with a void for the 80s 90s ( beats, melody, and style) are not the same as the genre moved on to mumble rap, and that appears to be here to stay.. Oddly in 80s and 90s artist looked back at the 70s (marvin g/james b/ artist) and say they couldn't compete with the previous generation of r&b ..
