facts. bc i hated this song as a child but i love it bc they can really sing
Anybody denying the 90s was and always will be the greatest decade in countless areas but R&B just might be at the top of that list... I don't really care about mainstream shit but I like checking the charts take one look at the hot 100 throughout the 90s I don't think any other genre was ruling as much R&B and me being an 85er I can tell u without a doubt the 90s was also the greatest decade ever to be a kid..one of the best things about Silk is they all could sing and all got time on the mic cuz its a pet peeve of mine when u have acts (especially 3 or more)that only have one member doing all the damn work like Pussycat Dolls ... I wish they had 3 verses on this classic but at least the 2 are sung by different members and Gary on the hook is especially my favorite part, my man is really into it even though he looks like he just got off work from Foot Locker, even more with that necklace that looks like something a whistle would be at the end of..I also love that they didn't waste money tryna do some over the top video, sometimes Less Is More, this is one of those times and even though these guys aint got the best dance moves it's still fly and i can't help but love how they all into it and at times it seems they tryna outdo each other...what more I need to say?..this song and video is eternally classic and their debut album remains one of my all time favorite R&B albums...no question about it The 90s was and will always be the greatest decade ever

Classic! Those of us who were teenagers in the early / mid 90s didn't know how fortunate we were to have R&B groups like Silk, Shai, Jodeci, Boys to Men....etc as part of our lives.
I was only 3-4 years in 93. I still love it all. My early memories are full of so much great music
R&B of the 90s was the best I was in high school then loved it.and rap was awesome then with dr Dre snoop 2pac and many others also was great time in the 90s wish I had a time machine but listening to all the music especially R&B definatly fills my heart makes me smile and dance

M. Jordan, M. Jackson, and M. Tyson become the biggest names ever.. but right around the early 2000's everything went dead. The new celebrities feel commercialized and untalented, and even normal people have changed.. Here in Cleveland Oh.. you walk down the street and nobody even has grass in their yards, they don't take care of their house's, the whole city looks different, and not in a good way. so for me, when I compare living in todays world, 2 living in the 80's and 90's, there is no comparison.
