How can you NOT love this guy. He didn't just brag, he mentioned Alcaraz's injury and his last exhausting match with Struff. So humble. Hope he gets rid of his mental demons for good so he can play his best tennis.
Im still shocked how he managed to serve so good , he was pushing Alcaraz so wide on both sides and was closing the points swiftly not giving Carlos any chances in the second and 3rd set !!!!

This is why I love Carlos and this man because even in victory he is still down playing himself and saying because Carlos was tired and he has an arm injury he won. I saw the match and he pounded Carlos off the court If he can keep that bag of crazy in his head to a minimum there's no reason why this guy can't win a Grand slam he is a shot maker. He gets in his own way he gets so psychotic on the court with his craziness I've never seen anyone make themselves bleed on the court it's insane he needs to calm down. I was 100% rooting for Carlos but I'm so happy of this result.

Amazing to see Rublev like this! I don't like his attitude on court most of the time, but he did very well this time, and I hope this victory will help him take the good path and learn better and better how to control himself and his rage
It would have been a lot more interesting to ask him what he did training-wise to recover his form after such a long stretch of early round losses.
